Hyunjin had been walking through the halls. He was alone again. He tried to avoid people as he had done before. He kept his head lowered, waiting for the day he could move away. He kept his books in his hands. He walked into class and fixed himself up in his desk chair. He opened up his notebook to see a sticker Annie had given him a few months back.
"Ah, Annie still hasn't woken up yet." Hyunjin played with the pen in his hand. "The sooner I can go, the sooner she will get better." He told himself.
Chan walked in with a confident smile. He sorted his papers. "So, The Spring Festival is in two days so who is excited?"
The class was filled with cheers. But, Hyunjin stayed quiet. "Proud of all of you for staying so organized. I wasn't expecting something like this to take off like this." Chan couldn't get the smile off of his face. Macy looked back and noticed the down look on Hyunjin's face.
"I know how bad he wanted to spend that day with her." She whispered to Felix, who moved his seat next to hers. "Yeah, he was quite chatty and excited about it before." He whispered back.
"Is he really going to move, though?"
"Yeah, it's what's best for both of them."
"I still can't believe this is happening. I still have an off feeling about it. What will Annie say when she wakes up?" Macy scratched her head.
"I don't know..what if doesn't fix anything at all and just makes it worse?" Felix whispered closely. "Hey, you two stop whispering!" Chan called them out with a point.
"Sorry." They both muttered with a small bow and opened their textbooks.
"But, what if Felix is right though? What if this doesn't help them at all?" Macy couldn't pinpoint it.

Hyunjin was carrying his was through the halls, trying to get to the exit. Someone came up behind him. "Hey! Hyunjin!"
Hyunjin stopped slowly and turned back to see Changbin, scratching his head. "You should come to the festival before you leave. So we all can be together this one last time."
"Sorry. I can't go without Annie. It isn't all of us." He turned back around to try to escape, but Changbin grabbed onto his arm. "Please. Do it for Annie. She wouldn't want to wake up to you being on bad terms with us." Changbin wanted Annie safe but he also didn't want to completely disconnect from him.
Hyunjin took a deep breath.
"Just this once?"
"Fine." Hyunjin made a quick smile and held tightly onto his things, he hid his face. "He's right, I can't act out of selfishness. They want what's best for her too, so there's no reason to be against them."
"Okay, but after this, I really have to leave. I can't chance Annie waking up to me leaving." He looked up at the moving clouds, with a light breath.
"Yeah.." Changbin made a cough. "Thank you for caring for her."
"Yeah, same to you. Just take care of her, okay?" Hyunjin looked back quickly then carried off.
"Hmm, wonder what's going on in his mind." He muttered to himself with a light shrug.
Over at the hospital, Jisung never left Annie's side. She still hadn't woken up even though a lot of time had passed. Jisung sat in the chair next to the bed and leaned back with a blank look on his face. "Come on Annie, please wake up." He took a breath.
Someone had opened the door and it was Macy, Felix, and Minho with cases of food. "We brought you some food just in case. We know it's hard to be here all the time." Felix handed Jisung a lunch box. "Thanks." He made a quick smile and started to eat.
"I wonder what Annie is thinking right now, is her time slow even when she sleeps?" Macy looked lightly over at her. "Yeah, it's even worse." Jisung ruffled his hair.
"Ah," Macy looked down while they all ate.
"Will you come to the festival?" Minho asked.
"Ah, I can't. If Annie wakes up without me here it wouldn't be good for me." Jisung scratched his head. "She needs someone by her side. Especially if Hyunjin won't be here. But, I don't know how to tell her that."
"Don't worry about it. I know Annie will understand no matter what the situation is." Macy let out.
"Right, she is an understanding person."
"I understand, though. Stay by her side, she needs it." Minho shrugged as he started to walk away. "Thank you for visiting."
"No problem. Call if there are any signs or anything." Macy said as they all left together. It tore at Jisung because he wanted to enjoy the times, but he wanted to enjoy it with his sister.
"I still can't believe dad isn't here, even after all this time.." Jisung looked down and fiddled with his fingers. That burden was heavy on him, so he quickly picked up the phone and dialed his dad's number.
"Hello?"
"So, are you going to come to visit or not? Your daughter is in the hospital and has been for weeks."
"I am, I am saving up to book a flight soon."
"Please you should've been here already." Jisung couldn't help but get frustrated and hurt by his father's actions.
"I am, I really am trying. I am sorry I can't explain right now." It seemed like there was a lot of commotion on the other end of the phone. Jisung rolled his eyes and hung up, trying to contain the frustration inside of him. "There has to be a way to fix this." He grabbed his head.

Seungmin was walking in the office."You were close to Annie right?" A manager had asked him. "Ya, why?" He typed on his computer.
"Since she can't really be a part of this right now..do you think you can fill in for her instead. We could really use your designs-"
"Sorry." Seungmin interrupted. "I can't accept the offer. This was important to Annie so I am going to grant her wish. I will help you, but use her designs." He stood up confidently while grabbing hold of the book filled with Annie's designs.
"Y-yes. That would be okay too." Somehow the manager felt intimidated by Seungmin.
"There has to be something I could do for her." He couldn't help but start to feel guilty somehow. He carried his way through the halls and noticed he had gotten a text.
"Hyunjin agreed to come, be sure to bring Jeongin too." Changbin texted. He made a small nod. "I am glad he isn't completely locking himself away." He muttered to himself as he went to the meeting. After the day was close to an end, Hyunjin was walking on his own down the street. As he looked around he remembered when he had confessed right in that area. He felt his heart beginning to skip. "I remember when I said to her.. I was feeling so flustered." He laughed at himself. Hyunjin looked down at his feet with a shy smile as he remembered the look on Annie's face. The way he didn't want to take his eyes off of her. He shook his head trying to get rid of the thoughts, he started to walk off. But, had an urge to turn his head back. "Now I have noticed..she didn't say the words back?.. I wish I could've told them to her again.." Hyunjin got the urge and he quickly carried his way to the hospital. He slowly opened the room door to see Jisung sleeping on the chair. So, Hyunjin tip-toed quietly. He sat down quietly beside Annie's bedside. Even if he was nervous she would wake up before he leaves, he wanted to see her, he couldn't fight the urge to see her. He calmly looked at her face, as he looked closer he had noticed that she was sweating. "Hm, I wonder what is wrong, is she having a dream?" Hyunjin muttered to himself and quickly ran out in the hallway to see if he could find a doctor, but there was barely anyone out because it was so late and dark. "Ah, what do I do?" Hyunjin scratched his head anxiously. He quickly went to the bathroom and got one of the hand towels. He turned on the faucet to cold water and coated the towel in it. He paced over to place it gently on Annie's forehead. He noticed that her breathing was calming down. "I hope that helped." He took a deep breath of relief. He gently brushed Annie's hair behind her ear. "You don't know what I would do if I lost you." He muttered as he made a gentle smile at her. He turned back to leave because he couldn't stay there any longer.
He could help but be worried about her, he felt his chest begin to tighten. He walked up to the counter on his way out. "Hey, please check on the patient in room sixteen, make sure she's safe."
"Of course, we make sure all our patients are safe. Thank you." The nurse bowed. Hyunjin took a breath as he walked out into the cold, crisp night. He stuffed his hands in his long coat. "I guess I should start packing." He muttered to himself as he walked home.
His two younger brothers noticed him walk in the door. "Hyunjin!" They called out. His mother rolled into the room in her wheelchair with a bright smile on her face. Hyunjin placed his backpack down and his mother whispered to him. "You sure you want to move so soon?"
"Yeah." He nodded.
"Ah, I guess you have met her, right?" His mother looked up at him.
"Yeah, I just need to try to get away before more happens to her.." Hyunjin muttered. "She got hospitalized because of me." He slammed down his head on the table. He couldn't hold in his frustration. His brothers started to worry. "Go and play in your room." His mother shot them off.
Hyunjin grabbed a hold of his hair as he curled his head in his arms. He felt his heart start to shake, and his chest started to sink as he felt his tears.
His mom rubbed his back. "I know, and I am sorry I could've saved you from this. I want you to love her, I want you to be with her." She muttered to him.
"Why am I cursed like this?" He muttered with every breath.

On the day of the Spring Festival came all the teams were gathered together. Seungmin, Macy, and the rest of the team were setting up decorations in the gym. Seungmin was on the latter. "Please hand me that streamer." He called out to Macy who was sorting out banners. "Ah, it feels like we are setting up a birthday party." Macy laughed. "Right.. but there's going to be a game in here later so the couch wanted it fancy..or something of that sort." Seungmin shrugged. Changbin came running into the gym. "Are you guys almost done?! the festival is going to start soon." He said out of breath. "Yeah." They both nodded. After the Festival was finished getting set up they all gathered outside to see the road that was reserved just for the occasion. There were stalls, food trucks, games, and decorations everywhere. People started lining the streets. The group gathered together and felt the warmth in the air. "Finally warmth!" Minho called out as the sun laid upon his face. "Yeah, winter felt so long and boring." Felix shrugged.
It started to get louder and louder. "Would you like to go?" Minho suggested.
"We have to wait on Hyunjin and Jeongin, remember." Macy glared over at him. "Right." They all leaned back against the brick wall of the school, trying to stay away from the large crowd. They noticed someone from afar waving at them. It was Jeongin with the tiniest of smiles. "Hey!" Seungmin called out. He gave him a quick hug. "It's been a while, sorry I have been working." Jeongin smiled shyly while scratching his head.
"It's cool. We would like you to be a part of our fairly large group here." Felix smirked as he crossed his arms. "Yeah, you do have a large friend group.." He laughed. Hyunjin walking in slowly from behind with a soft: "Hey guys."
"OMG." Felix gasped.
"Bruh, why are you so surprised?" Minho scuffed while brushing his arm.
"Sorry, I wasn't expecting him to be there." Felix coughed.
"Shall we all go?" Changbin suggested and they all walked together down the street. They pushed their way past people. Hyunjin stayed in the back of the crowd, looking down to the ground. He just followed them around everywhere. "You doing okay?" Jeongin noticed the down look on his face. "It's all good." Hyunjin shook his head and tried to get his mind off of his wandering thoughts. "What should we do before the game starts?" Macy said excitedly. "Maybe we should eat something, I have been working for hours." Felix shrugged back.
"Of course you are. I am too." Minho laughed. They looked around to a stall that looked interesting to all of them. "You guys want something?" They looked back. "Sure." Jeongin and Seungmin muttered as they noticed Hyunjin's blank face again. "Hey, is this about her..? You are okay, right? We are here with you." Seungmin whispered.
"Yeah, yeah. Sorry I am just tired." He made a quick smile as he looked up at the menu of the food truck. "I will just get some fries and a burger I guess."
"I will get one too."
After all of them got their food they sat at tables that were set up nearby. People around them chattering. "I am glad this Festival is doing better than I had thought," Macy said while taking a bite of her food. "Right. There are so many people here." Minho gazed around.
"So, Hyunjin what hobbies do you do on the side? Besides playing games that are. I haven't really thought to ask." Minho said with a full mouth.
"O-Oh." Hyunjin coughed. "I dance, I cook, uh...I draw?" He gulped.
"You draw?" All their eyes opened. "Well, I just started recently soo.." He looked over at Seungmin next to him who had looked shocked. "You know I love those kinds of things so why didn't you tell me you were trying it?" Seungmin pouted.
"Well..I didn't think I could." Hyunjin scratched his head shyly.
"You should show us your dance sometime!" Macy called out.
"Right.." As he heard that another memory came back to him when Macy had caught him dancing, seeing her through the window as he finished had made him more embarrassed but he didn't want to show it. He smiled at the simple thought.
"What did you think of just now?" They all stared at him as he smiled brightly. He coughed nervously. "Oh, uh. It's nothing." He took a big bite of his burger trying to avoid the question.

Later they walked together to the gym, to where Changbin was playing on the basketball team. The stadium was filled with people. Whistles were blowing, and cheers were circling around. Macy held tightly onto Felix's hand as they watch the game begin.
"Why are you holding on so tightly?" Felix whispered cutely to her.
"Oh, games always make me so nervous. Like who is going to win." Macy lightened her grip a bit but Felix held on tightly. "It's okay. I want to hold on to it." Felix smiled.
"Uhg, you guys are so gross," Minho whined.
"You're just saying that because you don't have someone to call your own." Macy glared back. They all watched the game together. Hyunjin sat silently as his eyes followed the ball as it was tossed around. "If you're not feeling well it's okay if you step out," Jeongin whispered to him. "We came here so we could have a good time with you, but if you're not ready you don't have to force yourself to," Seungmin added.
"Thank you, I want to spend this time with you guys. But, I can't seem to get my mind off of it.." Hyunjin looked down at his hands. "Take your time. We know it's hard for you and you don't have to force yourself for us." Jeongin lightly patted Hyunjin on the back.
"Thank you guys, really." He made a light laugh. "You guys are really something."
Hyunjin decided to get up and leave the noisy game noticed. He slipped outside on campus and sat down on a bench that was under the shade of a tree. He felt a bit better being in the quiet. No one seemed to be around. "Ah, what do I do." He muttered to himself.
"What do you need help with?" He heard a voice behind him. He quickly looked back to see Chan crossing his arms. "Ah, what are you doing out here sir?" Hyunjin muttered as Chan sat next to him. "I heard someone come out here so I was wondering who it was.. is something on your mind?"
"Yeah, but it's fine really." Hyunjin waved his hands.
"Ah, I have pretty good advice. Maybe I can help you? I won't tell anyone. I want to help all my students. I am gladly therapy for people." Chan smiled kindly.
"Thanks.. if you were stuck between staying with a girl but her health is in danger because of it, or leaving and breaking the heart of both you and the girl?" By Hyunjin's question, Chan had seemed surprised. "Oh, well. A broken heart hurts more than physical. Both are bad if she heals physically, sometimes the heart can be permanently damaged, ya know? Maybe try to get through the problems together and try to protect her heart, think. What does she want?" Chan looked over at him. Hyunjin looked down, with the thoughts running through him.
"But, how can we get through this?" He was still so baffled. "Thanks." He told Chan.
"I will leave you be. Good luck my son." Chan patted him on the shoulder and left quickly.
"My son..?" Hyunjin quickly looked around to see Chan had disappeared. "What is he a magician or something..?" He was confused for a second.
Back in the stadium Changbin lightly nudged Seungmin on the shoulder. "Where did Hyunjin go?" He asked.
"Ah, he stepped out for a minute because he needed some air. "
"Ah.." Changbin couldn't help but think: "It must be really hard for him.." He took a breath, got up, and shuffled his way out of the seats, and went outside. He looked around for Hyunjin but he didn't see him anywhere. "Ah, could he have left?" Changbin shrugged.

The next morning Hyunjin was at the airport, with his suitcase in his hand. His mom and brothers were right beside him. "Being able to move for a new start is nice, but you sure you want to leave already?" His mom looked up at him. He nodded. "Yeah, we already bought the tickets." Hyunjin kneeled down next to his mom with a smile on his face. "It's going to be fun, new things we can do, and I will get a good job somewhere."
"Yeah, I am quite excited." His mom smiled.
Hyunjin stood up while they were waiting in line with so many people around them. After the flight they traveled to the small house they would be living in. It was super close to other houses. They walked in to see it was empty. The only thing there were beds. His brothers ran around. "Wow, a big empty space!" They yelled. Hyunjin took a deep breath and smelled the new scent.
"It's not too large but it's good for all of us." His mom wheeled around placing her bags in her room. Hyunjin carried his way down the deep stairs that lead to a one-room basement. "I guess my room will be here." He placed his suitcase on the bed. He let out a sigh and looked at his phone to see he had a message from Jeongin.
"Are you there already?"
"Yeah, sorry I was on my flight." He replied back. He ruffled his hair and unpacked a few important things.
"The furniture delivery truck will be here tomorrow so let's just do what we got until then!" He heard his mom yell out. "I guess I have to buy dinner then." Hyunjin shrugged while sitting on his bed. For some reason, he wanted to keep looking at his messages, like he was waiting for something. Even though he knew nothing would happen. "Uhg why am I like this?" He sighed in frustration and laid back on his bed. His hair laying out on the bed as he stared at the ceiling. "I just have to keep telling myself that this is what's best." Hyunjin shook his head as his mom called out for him.
"I'm coming!" He yelled while stepping up the stairs.
"Can you go pick up some dinner when I stay here with the boys? Just for tonight."
"Yeah." Hyunjin made a light smile and made his way out the door. He didn't know where he was going since he didn't know the place well at all.
"Aish, I don't even know where.." He muttered as he looked at his phone, he scrolled through websites to try to find quick food that was close by. "Got it." He continued to walk down the ally.
He walked into the restaurant and walked up to the counter. "I will do the family meal plan please." Hyunjin got out his wallet and the girl at the register started to smile a bit.
"Yes. Also..may I have your name, sir?"
"Oh, just Hyunjin." He shrugged.
"Ah.." She had an enlightened look on her face. "You must be new to town.. I haven't seen anyone as handsome as you here before." She smiled shyly.
"Haha, thanks.." Hyunjin felt awkward and nervous.
She put the tray up on the counter. "Here is your food, it will be twenty thirty-six."
"Okay." Hyunjin gave her the money, took the tray, and began to leave.
"Hey, can I have your-" She tried to say but Hyunjin had already walked out. "Ah, I don't know why I find those situations annoying." He muttered to himself as he scratched his head.

A lot of time had passed, it seemed like ages since Annie had last spoken.

ANNIE POV

Suddenly I found myself in the same dream, a dream that had been on repeat in my head ever since the day. Ever since that day, I couldn't wake up. I couldn't get myself out of this dream. "Is it telling me something? Is it leading me somewhere?" I took deep breaths, feeling my heart rush as the dream was repeating again. It was pouring rain, late at night. I was soaking wet, looking around anxiously. I turned the corner and by the same door, I saw Hyunjin. He was also soaked in the rain. He was looking around, out of breath. I stood there, in shock. "H-H-" I began to mutter. He quickly turned towards me. I felt my heart racing as he stepped closer to me. "Annie." He muttered the words. "I will never leave you again." Hyunjin gently placed his hand on my face, leaning in closer and closer. My vision began to get blurry and it felt like the earth was shaking. My mind was rushing, spinning, it felt like I was falling down a tunnel. With a big breath, I sat up, awakening from the dream. My eyes were open, the room was bright, my heart was rushing. Jisung dropped his phone in shock as he noticed what had happened.
"A-A-Annie?.." I looked over at Jisung's wide eyes. "ANNIE!" He yelled and quickly hugged me. "Are you okay? How? What? How do you feel?" He noticed my eyes were still bugged.
"Doctor! Doctor! She's awake!" Jisung called out. The doctor came in and began to examine me. He checked my eyes, my heart rate, and everything. I was sitting there, still trying to take everything in. I didn't know what was happening, but all I could see was the dream repeating in my head.
"She seems okay, just in a state of shock. We will keep her for a bit to make sure she gets used to it again." The doctor told Jisung as they left the room.
"Are you okay?" He looked at me. I took a deep breath. "H-how long was I out?" I looked down at my shaking hands.
"For about four months..but, that's not important right now! what's important is that you're awake!" Jisung held onto my hand. I started to feel my heartache. "That means I missed the Festival..his birthday, everything."
"Don't worry about that. What matters is that you're here now so you can experience those things."
"Yeah." I took a light breath still trying to fathom. "Just rest." Jisung had gestured to lay me down. I laid there with a blank mind. "Where is everyone?" I said quietly.
"I will call them now!" Jisung got up with excitement and dialed on my phone.
"Why do I feel so uneasy? Why is that same dream repeating in my brain?" My head began to ache. A few moments later Jisung let out. "They're on their way! Ah, you can't believe how worried I was. I guess it really had worked." He clicked his tongue.
"What worked?.."
"Ah, nothing." He coughed. I covered up and waited for the others to arrive. I saw them come in one by one. "Annie!" Macy called out and gave me a hug. "You have no idea how worried I was!"
"Yeah, I missed you guys." I let out a gentle smile. I looked around but realized someone was missing. I thought: "maybe I overlooked him, maybe he is coming late."
"I will be sure to bring nice food for you, okay?" Macy couldn't stop smiling.
"Ah, It's nice to see you again." Changbin leaned down next to me with a light smile. I couldn't help but smile at all of them surrounding me. But, my mind kept wandering. "Did you call Hyunjin?.." I peaked over at Jisung.
"Ah..I didn't know I had to explain so soon." Jisung had an anxious look on his face and it made me begin to worry. "What? E-explain what?" I looked around at all of them.
"Well.." Macy looked down. Then I heard someone swing open the door. I see my dad standing there with relief on his face. "When they called and told me you were awake I came as fast as I could. I was so worried about you." He looked down at me.
"Ah, yeah.." I looked down. "Thank you."
"So are you going to answer?" I looked over at Jisung.
"Answer?" My dad was curious.
"Where is Hyunjin?" I asked but there was no answer. "Where is he!?" I said again louder.
"He moved away!" Jisung clenched his eyes closed. What I was afraid of waking up to had happened. "M-moved away?" I felt my hands begin to tremble. "There's no way.."
"We should head out." Minho shuffled Felix, Seungmin, Macy, and my father out of the room. But, Changbin refused to leave.
"He is gone now, he said he didn't have a reason to stay, so he left to start new." Changbin looked at me.
"That's not true." I swung my arm back. "Hyunjin would never just leave because of that. Hyunjin would never leave for a selfish reason..He wouldn't leave his friends.." I quickly grabbed onto my phone and tried to dial his number, but all I heard was. "Sorry, this number is no longer available."
"Aish." I took a deep breath, feeling the tingling in my face. I was upset, I didn't know what to do.
"He didn't even contact us to where he was. He didn't let us know. But, he left with full intentions." Jisung looked down gently.
"I need to see him," I said firmly.
"You can't." They both told me.
"I-I have too.." I felt my throat start to fill up. I couldn't help but try to hide my tears. I fought as best as I could.
"Just try and move on from him, Annie. It's what is best for both of you. He has already made that decision." Changbin placed his hand on mine but I brushed it off. I couldn't look at either of them. I felt mad, I felt upset, I felt hopeless for the first time over something in a long time. "I can't. I already tried and I can't.." I muttered.
"But, you have to," Jisung said lightly. But I started to feel my heart rush, my sight started to get foggy once again and I caught myself. Changbin quickly caught me and guided me so I could lay down. "Try not to get worked up or you will get hurt again."
"You guys don't understand..him going away is not going to change my love for him. Not seeing him won't change anything. The curse is not going to go away, and I can't change that. and you know what? I don't care. It's way worse living with a broken heart than living with him with a curse. Anything can be fixed right? I can figure that out." I quickly stood up. Changbin grabbed onto me. "Annie, you can't." He tried to keep me.
"I have too."
"Annie!" Jisung called out. "You can't right now you are in no condition."
"I am in condition. I don't care." I shook my head. Trying to call the number again but there was no answer. I felt my heart rushing then I remembered something Hyunjin had said to me. "Hyunjin told me our hearts were connected..no matter where we were right..?" I grabbed onto my chest as I felt my beating heart. "How far will you go for him?" Changbin called out.
"He is the only one I will go to the ends of the earth, no galaxy for. I don't know why, or what. But, I just can't. I tried but I can't disconnect from him." I closed my eyes tightly. "Please understand me," I said gently while lowering my head. "Even if you aren't on my side, it won't change my mind. I love you guys but..I just can't get heart away from him." I felt my heart gripping onto my chest.

NARRATOR POV

Hyunjin had suddenly woken up in a sweat as the dream he had felt so real. He took deep breaths. "Why does this dream keep happening?" He brushed his long hair back. He got up to go to work for the day. He looked himself in the mirror and couldn't keep the picture out of his brain. "It's been months and she's still there on my mind. Aish.." Hyunjin got frustrated at himself. He tried to brush it off as he carried his way to work.
"Good morning, Hyunjin!" His co-worker waved to him. He waved back as he went to his station, which was packing up boxes so they could be delivered out. "Ah, I would've never imagined a good looking guy like you working here." His friend said to him.
"AH, the number of times you've said that to me." Hyunjin laughed as he picked up a box. With that dream still on his mind. "Hey, Vernon. If you keep having the same dream with the same person over and over what does it mean?" he randomly asked.
"It means the universe is telling you something, bruh. It means you're probably in love with someone. At least from experience." Vernon shrugged.
"Ah.." Hyunjin began to think. "I wonder if she's awake.."
But, he felt his heart begin to rush. A gripping at his chest. He leaned down because of the cramping pain. "Are you okay, bruh?" Vernon tried to catch him as Hyunjin kneeled to the ground. "I am sorry I just feel. I just have this odd feeling." He began to cough. "I need to go." Without a second thought, Hyunjin knew what he had to do. He didn't know why he couldn't shake the feeling he didn't know how to explain it. He just did.

ANNIE POV

I had fallen asleep. "We will find him." They both told me so I had faith in that. I was asleep softly until I felt that dream begin to play again, and this time it was a bit different. In the dream, I had looked at my phone right before I had run down the alley. It was three am, the date looked familiar.
"June- June twenty-seventh.." I started to mutter, more and more I felt myself suddenly waking up in realization. "That's today!" I said out of breath. Looking outside the hospital window. I looked at the clock to see the time was two fifty-two. "It's now. It has to be." I quickly got on my shoes and left the room without a second thought. I carried myself down the stairs."It's silly for a dream to be real, right? It's silly to follow this? Then why am I doing it?" I yelled at myself as I ran out of the hospital. It was dark, it was quiet, but my heart was loud. I ran down the street, trying to figure out the proper directions to the location.
"It's where Hyunjin and I started talking. Where our hearts first connected." I felt droplets start to drop from the sky. One by one they came on harder and harder. I ran through the town as quickly as I could trying to find the correct location. I quickly looked at my phone because I was afraid if I missed the time. It was three am. I was right where I had been in my dream. I quickly ran through the alleyway. In me was this deep hope, this deep faith that I was right. That I would turn the corner to see him. That I wasn't crazy. The rain was pouring all over me. I was soaked and water was dripping down my face. As I turned the corner I felt my heart begin to drop. My eyes lit up as I saw that he was there.
He was standing there, looking around.
"H-H-." I muttered while standing still, from shock.
He quickly turned toward me with his eyes widened."Annie.." A gentle smile appeared on his face. Before I knew it his arms were wrapped around me. I still couldn't believe that it was real. That he was there with me. "Hyunjin." I grabbed onto him and stuck my face into his wet jacket.
I heard Hyunjin begin to whimper, that I had never seen like that before. My heart began to ache.
"I am sorry I brought this curse upon you, I am sorry that I ran away from you, I am so-" I stopped him. I held onto him as tightly as I could. "Hyunjin, you didn't put a curse upon me. You didn't run away. This isn't a curse. It brought us together, and there is no way I could ask for it differently." I said desperately.
"But, your life-" Hyunjin held onto my shoulders while staring right into my eyes. "How did you know to come here?"
"I had a dream..when I was out for all those months, I couldn't stop dreaming of you, Hyunjin!" I called out, with teary eyes.
Hyunjin stood there, while lightly brushing his hand on the side of my face. He brought his head closer and closer to me. I felt him grab onto me and gently laid his lips against mine. I couldn't help but kiss back. At that moment, my head began to clear, that all I wanted to do was feel his warmth. To stay by his side.
As he slowly backed away I say the gentle smile on his face. I looked around to see the rain in the air was flowing differently. I looked up to see the rain was going up instead of down.
"H-how? Do you see it too?" I gulped.
"Y-yeah." Both Hyunjin and I had a big smile on our faces. I felt lighter, I felt my heart lighter, that I couldn't stop smiling. "Why do I feel so different?" I looked down at my hands as the rain began to evaporate.
"I- I don't know. But, I feel different too. It's like a weight lifted from me.. does that mean..?" Neither of us could believe it. But, it was right in the place we had first met. Where we joined our hearts together we reunited again. The curse was broken. We didn't know how it happened. But, we felt it. I looked down at my hands. To feel as healthy as I ever had. I looked up at Hyunjin who had the brightest of smiles on his face. He quickly grabbed onto me burying his head in my shoulder. "I will never leave you again. I can't do that. I want to experience you forever." The softness, the happiness in his voice. It touched my heart. "I- I love you," I muttered.
"All I want is for you to be happy."
Hyunjin smiled gently at me. "I love you too."
I started to get shy. I looked down with a smile on my face.
"What do we do now?" I made a small laugh while scratching my head.
"It's the middle of the night, so we should get you back to bed." Hyunjin smiled lightly. We walked hand in hand. With this feeling I had right beside him, there was no way I could ever part from him. I knew that no matter what I faced, I would face it with him.

In the future, the ceremony was held. I was up on stage next to a line of people, smiling at the crowd in front of me. "Thank you, to everyone. My friends, my family, everyone." My eyes laid upon Hyunjin who was sitting in the crowd, with a tiny wave. I held the case to my game in my hand. "Thanks to Seungmin, and all my team. I was able to design a character for a game. " I smiled and left the stage. The cheers had entered the crowd. I was proud of how far I had come. The whole group waiting for me outside as I said goodbye to the team for the day.
"Thank you all for waiting." I smiled at all of them. Slowly making my way over to Hyunjin, holding onto his hand.
"Yeah, your game is amazing!" Felix called out.
"I mean, it's not really my game, just my character." I made a small laugh.
"Ah, But Still, it's so cool." Changbin clicked his tongue.
"I am going to play some when I get home," Minho added. "Ohhhhh can I join you?" Macy persisted. "Only if we can have a tournament." Minho snickered.
"AH, I am glad to be in that business again too. Without you, I wouldn't have made it." Hyunjin made a smile as we walked. "Ah Ah, but you had gotten me here too. I guess you can say we lift each other up?" I popped up cutely.
"Yep. My full support." Hyunjin smiled lightly.
I gripped his hand tighter.
"Uhg, when is your wedding date already?" Jisung whined from behind.
"U-uh, w-what?" I felt my heart start to rumble. I panicked as I looked up at Hyunjin who was smirking. "Soon." He tried to hide his smile and quickly skipped ahead.
"Uhh..." I felt my face get red. "When is soon?! Huh?! like please please let me know." I persisted as I grabbed onto Hyunjin from behind.
Hyunjin had a big grin on his face. As we all carried on together. We felt the warmth and presence of each other.
"Haha, I guess Chan was right." Hyunjin laughed to himself. I couldn't have asked for better of people around me. My heart was happy, the warmth that was stirring inside me. It could only be one thing. I found it, my true home.
