"Kim Jisoo, what are you doing to me?", Taehyung mumbled softly while staring at his ceiling.
It's already past 9 in the morning yet he's still in bed. Not having any plans of jumping off from the bed to start his day.
He even took an absent today. Though the intramurals were still going on and it's a must for a player like him to stay present at school, he still chose to stay on his house, particularly on his room.
He don't have any scheduled game for today though, since today was planned to be for the opening of clubs. The whole day was scheduled for club activities. So it would be still fine even if he does not showed up in school. He's not even part of any clubs and doesn't have any plans in participating in its activities.
Also, he already told Jimin about it too. Though he didn't state his reasons, atleast he and his other friends would knew that he would not go to school today.
He has two main reasons on why he doesn't feel like going to school today.
First, he was still sleepy, for he only had an hour and a half of sleep.
And second, because of Kim Jisoo, for he doesn't know how would he face her.
He was so worried about the possibility of him bumping to her, they're attending the same school after all. What if they crossed paths with each other in the campus? What should he do?
Should he just ignore her completely? But it would be so rude of him.
Should he greet her and said 'hi' or 'hello'? But what if she creeped out? And for the record, they're not even close.
Should he confront her about the message? But he don't have the courage of doing so.
And so he decided to just stay at his home for today, so that atleast, he'd be able to think and reflect on his stressful situation.
His thoughts once again travelled to the image of Kim Jisoo and to the sight of the weird message she sent.
Up until now, he still didn't know the reason as to why all of a sudden, she sent a message with such content to him.
Even though he told Jimin that he would reply to her and asked her about the message, he couldn't find the courage of doing so.
He tried, for so many times, to ask her about it and had series of attempts of sending a message, but in the end, he didn't able to send even atleast one.
The thought of her beautiful face and the weird message of hers that she had sent to him kept him awake all night.
Was it possible that Jimin's right? That she had sent it because of a dare her friends gave her? After all, she and her friends were known to have playful and funny personalities. They love making fun of each other, doing pranks and jokes. Especially Lalisa Manoban and Park Chaeyoung who loves teasing the other two ladies.
So it's possible that one of those two dared Kim Jisoo to do that right?
"Yes it's possible. It might be the reason. It's possible, it's possible....", he mumbled trying to convince himself.
But then for an unknown reason, there's a part of him who doubted that reason.
He remembered Jimin also mentioning that maybe, just maybe, she wasn't really the one who sent it but another person who just happened to use her phone.
But why does it have to be him to received that message? There were tons of people out there, why him?
Why not Jimin? There's a possibility that the guy would flirt back--or not? Right, as of now, he's being loyal to his one sided crush to one of Kim Jisoo's friends.
Why not Jin? Oh, he's her cousin.
Why not his other friends? Namjoon? J-hope? Jungkook? Well probably not Suga. The guy clearly made an image to everyone not to messed up with him.
But his point was, there were lot of other boys out there school, and there were variety of them. Handsome, intelligent, funny, sport...., you name it. But of all people, why him?
Heck because of that, he was so sure that the quite normal life he had in Chestwood University would never be the same. First, there was Kim Jisoo who would probably mess his mind from time to time, like the way she's doing as of now.
And then there was also his nosy friends, specifically the one named Park Jimin who would probably bombard him with questions about the girl.
Just by the mere thought of his friends, finding out that Kim Jisoo sent him a weird message, he couldn't help but to grimaced.
Jin would probably nag him for keeping it to him specially that it involves his dear cousin. That guy was hella protective over her.
J-hope, being a loud and talkative guy, would probably ask him a series of questions, that he was so sure that he wouldn't be able to answer.
Jungkook, ahh that annoying brat. He would probably tease him endlessly, that dude really knows how to throw annoying remarks and teases to someone. And he doesn't have any plans on being the subject of his teases.
And Namjoon, oh that dude. Sure he looked serious and quiet but huh! The guy was hiding a nosy personality! And damn, he was really scary whenever he force someone to spill the tea. One word was enough for you to tell everything to him, he's aura's intimidating. When he said the word 'spill', you do not have any choice but to spill the informations and surrendered them to him. Not to add that the guy has his own way on making fun of the secret you had just shared.
The only person whom he wasn't afraid of knowing his deal with Kim Jisoo was Min Yoongi. That guy, as what he always said, 'don't give a fuck' about things that was not concerning him. As long as it wasn't a matter between life and death, he would stick out of it. Minding others' businesses wasn't part of his vocabulary.
He looked at his dog, Yeontan when he heard him bark.
He slightly went on the side of his bed to pick up his dog and then placed him on the top of it before he went back to his position earlier.
He then put him on his stomach as he brushed his fingers against Yeontan's back.
The dog silently look for a suitable position and then laid comfortably on his stomach.
Yeontan looked at him, as if he knew that his owner was being problematic about something.
Taehyung smiled at his dog as he patted his head.
"Yeontan-ah, a girl's occupying my mind right now", he told the dog, as if he could understand him.
He chuckled slightly when the dog barked three times, thinking that it was his response, he continued talking.
"Yep, a girl", he continued. "I barely know her, but she already managed to made me feel different emotions, strange emotions, as weird as her silly message", he chuckled unknowingly.
He looked directly at Yeontan's eyes and gave him a small smile.
"Yeontan-ah, do you want her to be your Mom?"
The bark of the dog made him to be awaken from his thoughts, and that's when he realized what he just said.
Did I just addressed her to be Yeontan's Mom? What the fuck?
He thought to himself.
He slapped his forehead as he mentally cursed his self.
Damn Kim Taehyung, what's happening to you?
He hit his head once again. How come that a simple message from that girl made him crazy like this? What does Kim Jisoo's doing to him? That message of hers was enough for him to get crazy, just look at him by now!
He screamed, being frustrated at the sudden weirdness that's happening to him. Yeontan barked at him, making him to look at his dog once again.
He just gave him a smile as he closed his eyes.
"Oh, here she goes again", he mumbled when Kim Jisoo once again flashed on his thoughts the moment he closed his eyes.
