"Drop the gun right NOW!" I hear him yell
My eyes are still closed after hearing the gun go off. But I didn't feel any pain. I open my eyes and turn to see Liam behind me pointing a gun at Jennifer. It was him who pulled the trigger, but he didn't aim for anyone
Liam had his gun pointed directly at Jennifer. I turn and look at my sister who still had the gun pointed towards my heart, but her hand was still shaking and she still had tears streaming down her face.
"Drop your gun otherwise I will shoot" he yells again
She struggles to pull the trigger and closes her eyes shut. The gun that was pointed towards my heart was shaking in her hands
"DROP THE GUN RIGHT NOW" Liam threatens again
Jennifer lets out a sob and pulls the gun away from me but before she drops it, I yank it out of her hand and pointed at her
Have I ever used a gun before? No.
Do I know what I'm doing? No.
Am I scared as hell? Yes.
"Alexandra I'm sorry" she whispers with tears streaming down her face
I point the gun to her head with my finger on the trigger
"You are my sister, no matter what so I will NOT kill you. But you have 10 seconds Jennifer to grab one of the bags of money and get the fuck OUT OF MY FACE. I never want to see or hear from you again. Now GO!" I yell
She nods with tears in her eyes and without hesitation, she grabs a bag and runs out to one of the back doors
Irina and her husband, in shock start to yell
"I knew she wouldn't have the balls to do it, to kill her own sister! I knew it Jeff, I Knew IT!" Irina starts to yell
"Somethings just need to be taken care of yourself" she says and grabs a gun pointing it towards me
I point mine towards her and Liam had his gun pointed towards Irina too.
"I'll finish this nasty bitch myself" she sneers pointing the gun to my head
"You'll be dead before you can even pull the trigger!" Liam yells with his gun pointed towards Irina
The whole time, she is looking me dead in the eye, excited to kill me any second now
"Well I'll just have to take care of you first" she smiles and turns the gun towards Liam, about to pull the trigger
"LIAM NO!" I yell
The moment she takes her eyes away from me and lays them on Liam, she lets out a gasp
I keep my gun pointed toward her even though I was scared as hell, but I couldn't risk anything happening to Liam.
Irina starts to slowly lower her gun upon seeing Liam's face and has a shocked expression on her face.
"Ace?" Irina whispers in total denial
I feel shivers go down my spine hearing her say his name-
Liam still has the gun pointed towards Irina but his cold eyes start to soften
"A-ace, Ace. It's really you. Jefferey look, It's my baby boy!" she says calling her husband to come and drops her gun walking towards Liam
"Irina what are you saying!? Ace is DEAD" Jeffery yells at her and tries to pull her away
"No, No it's really him. I recognize those eyes from anywhere" she says and walks up to Liam, cupping his face
Liam lowers his gun and just stands there
"My baby boy, its you" she cries
"Mother" he whispers
"What?" I managed to croak out in total disbelief
Irina lets out a sob and Jeffery walks closer to Liam
"Ace? Is it really you? No- how can this be?" he asks in shock
Cold shivers run through my body and shock instantly overcomes me. What the hell was happening right now. Was I in a dream? Liam turns to me and as soon as we make eye contact, it was as if this magic spell that had made me blind all these months, was uplifted.
"Ace?" I breath out
Goosebumps run all over my body and I feel frozen in place. Not able to move. Shock comes over my body.
"My baby boy, please don't leave me again. Please don't ever lea-" he pushes Irina away
"Don't you EVER say I left YOU!" he yells pointing the gun towards them again
"You both left ME! You never cared for your own son. Your only son. Even when you left me, you never cared to check up on me. To see if I was okay! You only cared about yourselves. You were horrible parents. I was left alone in this world, to raise my own self up. To build myself from the ground up, which is exactly what I did. And you will NEVER, and I said this before and will say it again, You will NEVER get anything I ever worked hard for. Whether that is my money, my house, my company, or my love. Because you lost that right when you left me in the streets. So don't call me your son, 20 years later, and don't tell me not to ever leave you again."
I start to hear police sirens and then see them breaking down the doors barging in circling around Irina and Jeffery. They yell at everyone to drop our weapons and a few other things but all I could only focus on was Liam speaking to Irina and Jeffery.
"And don't you EVER threaten or hurt the people I love most in this world ever again" he terroizes in front of their face right before the police push them to the ground and hand cuff them.
Liam turns towards me and looks at me with a deep gaze in his eyes. I can't feel my legs. They were glued to the ground and everything started spinning. Cold shivers ran through my body and all I wanted was a warm embrace. I was in total shock. How was I this blind? Was this, really him?
He walks up to me and takes the gun that I forgot I was still holding, out of my hand. He drops it on the floor and gives me the warm embrace I wanted.
"Ace?" Irina whispers in disbelief
Her voice from before starts to ring through my ears and I come to my senses
"NO!" I yell and push him off me
He pulls away and looks at me with soft eyes
"Alexandra I wanted to tell you-" he says my name and that's when everything starts to fit into place, he reaches out to hold my arm but I pull away
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" I yell
"I dont know who the fuck you are" I spit out and run out of the warehouse. Outside I see a bunch of cops and I see David. As soon as we make eye contact, he runs towards me and pulls me in for an embracing hug. I felt safe in his arms and all my worries and fears went away.
"Alex I'm so happy your okay" he whispers hugging me tight
"How did you know where to find me?" I ask pulling away from our hug
"Actually, I didn't. It was Liam who got worried something bad happened and was able to track your location" he says pointing behind me
I turn behind me and see Liam looking at me from far. I quickly look away and turn back to face David.
"I want to go home," I whisper trying to push back the tears
"Let's take you home then" he says and gives me another comforting hug.
I get into his car and he drives me home. The whole time, all I could hear was Irina's voice ringing in my ears.

"Thank you officer" I say
The police officer nods and gets up heading for the door. I had to give my testimony and tell the police what had happened. How Irina and Jeffery were blackmailing me and my sister was part of it. He tells me not to worry and that they're both locked in prison. As for my sister, I was hoping she gets as far from here as possible. That she can start a new life and forget about the past. Something that I could never do.
I just daze out the window and think about everything that has happened this morning. Then I am interrupted by my thoughts when I hear a knock on my door.
"My dear, there is someone downstairs waiting for you" Molly says with a soft smile
I nod in agreement that I would come down and she closes the office door. I let out a breath and pulled myself together.
Walking down the stairs, I see Dr. Ashley standing near the enterance.
"Alex dear, I was so worried when I heard. Is everything okay?" he asks and pulls me in for a hug
"I am okay, what brings you by?" I ask pulling away
Then I see him walk in and I instantly freeze in place
"Alex, we have a few things to talk about" Dr. Ashley says grabbing my hands.
"What are YOU doing here!?" I yell at him
Seeing him made me angry. I also felt scared. Scared at finding out the truth-
"Alexandra please" Liam says and tries to come closer to me
"Get him OUT! I don't know who the FUCK you ARE!" I yell again
"Alexandra-" I cut Dr. Ashley off
"WHO ARE YOU?" I question going closer to him
"Alexandra if you could please take a sea-"
"ANSWER ME!" I yell again feeling tears start to form from all the stress
He doesn't say anything. He just stands there with sadness in his eyes
"TELL ME" I yell again and start to punch his chest
It did nothing to make him budge but my tears start to fall as I try to relieve my stress by using him as a punching bag
"Who are You?" I ask again still hitting him
"Alexandra please calm down" Dr. Ashley tries to say from behind me
"TELL ME-" suddenly Liam grabs my wrists and pulls me closer to him
He looks at me with sadness and hurt in his eyes before speaking
"You already know" he says in a whisper
I pull my hands out of his tight grip and cover my mouth in shock as I start to shake my head, refusing to believe it
"It can't be" I repeat over and over
"Ashley don't tell me you believe this, it can't be! Tell me this is not possible" I yell at him with tears streaming down my face
Dr. Ashley starts to pull out a few documents and passes them over to me
"DNA results. It's him Alex" he says softly
I look at the papers in shock and look over at Liam, or Ace... I-
"This is not possible, you DIED! You're dead, how can this be-" I start to yell like a crazy person
I shake my head refusing to believe this, I feel him wrap his arms around me trying to calm me down
"Alex I'm so sorry, I didn't mea-" I immediately cut him off pushing him away
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" I yell, I no longer had tears, but only anger.
"Alexandra please let me explain-" he tries to say
"You both lied to me" I whisper with hurt pointing to both him and Dr. Ashley
They don't say anything else but only look down to the ground in silence.
I close my eyes. All I could feel was disbelief, mockery and sadness.
"I can't do this right now" I say and head out the door for some fresh air.

I really wanted to portray all the emotions Alex felt. She was shocked, sad and angry. Most of all, scared. That this was true.
Next chapter will have more juicy details and let's see what happens next with these two characters who are (finally) truly reunited...
