it's been around 2 years of me and vinnie being married
we always talked about kids but never went through with the process.
today was vinnie and i's anniversary

y/n's pov:
i woke up feeling like i needed to throw up, i ran to the bathroom.
after a few minutes, i stood up feeling dizzy.
lately i have been having really weird food cravings but i didn't think much of it, in-tell today
i got my car keys and drove to a drug store down the street
i got my mask on (😷😌) and went into the store, i grabbed 3 pregnancy tests and walked up to the cashier
"that will be $5" the old lady said "here you go." i said as i handed her the money
she handed me the bag "thank you, have a nice day!" i said to her
"thank you same to you, good luck" she said
i got into my car and drive back to the house
vinnie wasn't home, he had meeting in the morning but is coming back at noon
it's currently 11, i ran to the bathroom and took the pregnancy tests
they each take 5 minutes, so i set a timer
vinnie always wanted a kid, but idk how he'd feel tho.
the timer went off, stopping all of my thoughts
i went to the bathroom and turned over the tests
i turned the first one over
"positive" i whispered
i turned over the 2nd one
"positive" i whispered again
i turned over the last one
"positive" i said out loud
i had idea to give them to vinnie as a gift
i washed the tips of the tests and wrapped them up and put them in a bag
i heard the door open "baby! i'm home!" i heard vinnie say
i shoved the bag under the bed and acted like i was making the bed
"upstairs!" i yelled back
"oh hi kitten!" he said as he walked in the room
"hi my love, may i take your jacket?" i said as i walked over to him
he took his jacket off and handed it to me
i placed it on a chair next to us, he un- buttoned the first few buttons on his white shirt and loosened his tie.
"im gonna take a shower, then i need to check and respond to emails." he said
"then we can go out for our anniversary." he said then placed a kiss on my lips
"i will put your clothes in the bathroom while your showering" i said
he walked in the bathroom, i heard the shower turn and the glass shower door open.
i grabbed his clothes, he still doesn't like having a shirt on, so i grabbed him grey sweatpants and boxers
i folded them up and walked in the bathroom
the bathroom door was clear so you go see through it
"baby?" vinnie said as i walked over to the counter in the bathroom
"yes?" i asked
"do you want a child still?" he asked me, my eyes widened
"yes, yes i do and you?" i said as i grabbed my hair brush about to walk out
"yeah yeah i do." he said before i walked out

it was time, i grabbed the bag next to my leg
"here you go." i said as i gave it to him
he grabbed the tissue paper which was covering the tests
he opened up the tissue paper and saw the tests
he took them out a laid them on the table looking at them
"so i'm a dad?" he asked, i nodded my head
"wait, is this some prank?" he asked not convinced it was real
"no it's real, i need to make a doctors appointment." i said
"aww i love you baby! we are going to parents." he said before kissing me
"happy anniversary!" i said to him
