Korra turned and saw a figure in the shadow of the tree. Then the figure stepped out, “Hello, avatar!”
Korra leaped in joy when he saw the man. “Iroh!” Korra said while she ran towards him then hugged him.
“I see you have a problem”
“Yes, Asami and Chiki are hurt. Plus, I can’t find the portal back to the physical world.” Korra said as she stepped back
“The spirit portal will appear on the right time. For the mean time, you and your friends should stay with me. Come on, it’s just near.” Iroh started walking.
Korra then earthbended a square shape on the ground Asami and Chiki was sleeping on. She then carried the earth the two are on with her bending.
When they arrived, Korra slowly bended the earth down. She then carried Asami and brought her to the room of the hut. She carefully placed the non bender on the bed. She tucked the non bender under a blanket.
“Chiki is in the other room. They will be okay, avatar.”
“I’m just scared to lose her.” Korra sighed
“Everything happens for a reason. How about some tea to lighten the mood? I will heat the water.” Iroh said then walked out
Korra stared at Asami with sadness. She reached out her hand and touched the non bender’s cheek. “I don’t know what happened out there but I promise to protect you with all my life.” She then leaned towards the non bender and slowly kissed the non bender’s forehead.
The avatar went out and smelled aroma of the tea Iroh had made. “That smells so good.”
“Well it’s my specialty. Here, have one.” Iroh gave the cup of tea to the avatar as she sat down on the ground.
“Thank you!” Korra said with contentment. She then supped the tea happily but then the smile on her face broke as she clenched her fist on the cup and hit it on the table.
“Something happened in Republic City. They need me but I can’t go back without the portal. When will it appear again?” Korra asked
“I don’t know. I just know it will appear at the right time.”
Korra’s eyes opened wide with what Iroh said. She then slid her hands on her hair as she slowly pulled her hair out. “I guess we can wait for them to wake up while the portal isn’t showing up.”
"They will need time to recover." Iroh said
