As she hadn't planned on following the original story arc, Cheng Huan had forgotten almost all the details about the story.
She had it all thought out. Novel or no novel, she was a real person, as was XingXing. She didn't need to be the supporting character in someone else's story. With her child, she can work harder. She only wanted a normal life where she didn't need to worry about shelter and clothing.
What was unexpected with the power of the story arc. She didn't even initiate anything but the other side approached her instead. And two years ahead of the supposed time line at that!
Did that mean XingXing would die at the end? As was herself?
Cheng Huan felt difficulty in breathing.
She tossed away the pen that she had broke into halves, stood up, and walked in a circle a few times. The breeze of fall from the patio was a little chilly and quickly lowered the temperature of her brain that was about to explode.
"Keep calm. Don't get upset. Being angry can cause sudden death." Cheng Huan took a few deep breaths and made herself stopped dwelling on their tragic ends. She patted herself on her cheeks and sat back onto the couch to see what solutions she could come up with.
First, there was the money that the male lead sent through someone else.
She must pay that money back. Should she ever come head to head with the Jiang's in the future, she would instantly be in a weaker stance if she didn't.
How to send the money back was a different problem.
She didn't want to admit to it, but she really didn't have the ability to pay him back right now.
She had more or less purchased everything that she'd need for her storefront. She only has some 500,000 yuan left from the original 3 million yuan. What she wasn't certain about was whether the male lead would accept her suggestion. As far as Cheng Huan was concerned, his sending her money in such a stealth way was bad news. He must have something up his sleeves.
If he insisted on giving her a difficult time, Cheng Huan hadn't thought of anyway to counter that. Worst case scenario: She would transfer her storefront and pay off a part of the debt, or...
One way or another, she would not give up her son. Nevermind that she had already grew fond of him over the last few months. Even if they have just met, she couldn't possibly send the child right into a fit pit for this amount of money.
Cheng Huan thought about it long and hard and felt that she had figured out all the issues that she could foresee. She had even thought through a few different scenarios of when she met the male lead.
Except none of those were helpful right now as she had no way of contacting him as of right now...
Thinking about that, it made Cheng Huihui more upset. It felt like she had thrown a punch into the air. The oppressed feeling was nauseating.
She crossed her legs and thought about it some more. She rented the storefront from Hu Tianhua. Perhaps he would have the male lead's contact information. That made her felt a bit better. She located his number and gave him a call. The phone rang many times but nobody picked it up. Cheng Huan frowned and tried a few more times. All of them fruitless so she had to give up on that for now.
