Everyone was busy today due to the Empire's most awaited marriage. In the Duke's resident Feng lan (Duke's wife) and Cheng qi was preparing Adria for THE big day.
'Awwww Xiuxiu look's so beautiful today!' Feng lan exclaimed looking at her pretty daughter who was dressed in bright red.
'En, Xiaoxiu looks more beautiful in her marriage attire.' Cheng qi spoke teasingly as she witnessed a blush blooming on the face of her soon to be married sister.
'Mother, Jiejie stop teasing me!' Adria covered her face while the others girl chuckled at her actions.
'Xiuxiu, Don't forget to visit your parents after you get married, Ok? Mother will always be waiting for your visit.' She kissed her on her forehead gently.
'Mother....' Adria choked lightly as her eyes started tearing up.
'Not only your mother, this whole residence will be waiting for your visit.' A voice came from behind them.
'Father!' She tried to stand to greet her father but was stopped in the midway by him. He walked towards her and patted her head gently.
'Xiuxiu..... I'm sorry for not being a good father to you. I know I ignored your existence and left you on your own. What I did is very terrible but before I could even redeem for my mistakes you are already getting married. ' Duke Cheng mo's voice trembled lightly as his eyes got red.
'Father, please don't say that!'
'No, Xiuxiu. What your father said is right! We failed as parents.' Feng lan spoke.
'Father, Mother. Please don't blame yourself. What you did in the past is INDEED wrong, but let the bygones be bygones. Also I was very happy during the times I spent with you together, so don't worry about the past. Today is my wedding day and I want my parents to bid me off without any regrets. So please promise me you would let go off the past Father and Mother.'
'Xiuxiu!' Feng lan and Duke Cheng mo hugged Adria .
'It's not fair, you guys are leaving me out!' Cheng qi pouted lightly as she complained in a spoiled tone.
They all laughed at her comment as Feng lan gestured her to come forward and they all shared a family hug. The old couple wished happiness for their daughters from the bottom of their heart as they watched them laughing brightly.
'Ahhh, Xiuxiu's hair is not done yet. We should hurry up before the sedan comes.' Feng lan spoke as she remembered the half done hair.
Feng lan platted her hair with cotton threads and placed a red veil over her face.
The sedan arrived right after they got her ready. Adria teared up a bit as she got into the sedan.
'Father, Mother and Jiejie take good care of yourselves and don't forget your promise.' She choked as she spoke.
'We will and You need to take care of yourself too, alright?' Feng lan spoke trying her best to control her tears.
As the sedan was lifted, she heard the familiar sound inside her head.

*Good, now I only have to find a partner for the male lead. The other missions would probably get completed after I get married but to think that I'm getting married on the same day the original soul died, what kind of weird co-incidence is this? Anyway I want to marry my husband soon, these ceremonies are taking way too long*

*I know, I know!* Adria sighed internally. She hasn't met him for the past few months due to the rule that the groom can't meet the bride before marriage. Though they had their little rendezvous nights sometimes, they didn't see each other's face due to the rule.
The Sedan reached the wedding venue and after finishing the Sedan kicking ceremony, Huang min led Adria to the reception hall. He looked at her longingly with eyes filled with love.
'Xiu'er, you are finally going to be mine, ONLY MINE!' He whispered in her ears as they walked.
'I've always been yours to begin with.' She whispered back with a low chuckle.
Huang min was startled by her words before smiling lightly which yearned him a light kick on his leg from Adria.
'Don't smile when we are outside, you will gain a lot of butterflies.' Adria whispered.
Before Huang min could reply they reached the reception hall. The bowing ceremony started after paying respects to the ancestors.
First they bowed to heaven and earth, second they bowed to their parents, third they bowed to each other.
Followed by the bowing ceremony, the veil lifting,wine exchange and tea ceremony was done. After those Adria was made to wait inside the bridal chamber while Huang Min was attending to the guests at the wedding banquet.
*Ughhhhh....I'm so tired, LIL. Who knew that Marriage in ancient times is so complicated? I really want to sleep.*
**Host, you can't sleep now Or else your hubby would be very disappointed.**
*Why would he be.......! LIL !!!!!!!!!* Adria's face blushed red as she realised what LIL meant.
Just then Huang min entered the room slightly drunk.
'M-M-M-Min G-Ge' Adria greeted him while her face was still blushing red as she stuttered at his sudden arrival.
He came forward and hugged her tightly. Adria could smell the scent of liquor in him.
*Is he drunk?*
**Yes Host. He is a bit drunk but not much.**
She squirmed a bit to get out of his arms.
'Don't!' He grunted and tightened his grip.
She stopped squirming and gently laid her head on his chest.
'Min-ge?'
'Call me Husband!' He whispered as he bit her ear teasingly.
'Min-ge!' He face went a deeper shade at his actions.
'Husband!' He bit her ear again.
'Ahh, Min..H-Husband' She murmured as she hid herself in his chest.
'En, my wife.' He patted her head gently.
'I-That-can you release me?' She peeked at him from his chest.
'Hmmmm.....No,I can't' He lifted her as he spoke.
'Mi...Husband!!' She gripped him tightly in fear of falling.
He laid her on the Bed and traced her face gently.
'Wife, you look so beautiful' He took a strand of her hair and kissed it. He was so close to her that she could feel his hot breath on her skin along with a light scent of liquor. Her heartbeat became chaotic as she realised how close he was.
'H-Husband.' She called out to him gently.
'En....wife.' He touched her face his hand continuously giving out warmth. She could feel her body getting hotter from his every touch.
'W-What are you doing?'
'I'm admiring my wife's beauty.' As he said so he leaned closer.
**Host, LIL is going offline. Call me when you're done, host.** LIL spoke quickly but Adria wasn't able to notice it's words as she was busy calming her crazily beating heart.
He kissed lightly in her forehead,then her eyes, her nose, her cheeks,her chin . Finally he gazed at her for a moment before kissing her deeply on her lips. Adria moaned as she felt herself losing in that passionate kiss. Her mind became muddled as she desperately returned his kiss.
She could feel the sweetness of the wine from their kiss making her feel intoxicated.
'Xiu'er. My Xiu'er' Huang min called her name as they shared a deep kiss.
He broke their kiss and started sucking her neck.
'Ahhhh.....M-min ge!' She moaned in pleasure as he gave her butterfly kisses all over her body.
'I love you Xiu'er...' He spoke in middle of his kisses.
'I love you too Min-ge!' Even If she was muddle headed she responded to him; when she heard those words.
That night their room was filled with moans and words of love.
A.N- I'm sorry once AGAIN!!! I vanished for three damn weeks. I had some exams and assignments to do and was very busy that I couldn't even spend some time for my story. Hope you guys are doing good. Bye-bye will see you guys soon with an other update!!!!
