ᴡɪʟʙᴜʀ
ʙᴜᴛᴛᴏɴ ʀᴏᴏᴍ - ᴀ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ
I stand with my back against the wall, hand bloodied and knuckles bruised from my ruthless punches to the wall behind me. The wall covered with red blood, dripping down onto my clothes, down my back.
I wiped my face with my palm, ignoring the sting that follows. The pain doesn't bother me.
All around me, I stare at words on signs cover the walls, all filled with some sort of lie, of choices that were by my hand. Of things that weren't meant for the world to see, they should've just stayed in my head.
Like the Anthem of L'Manburg, and the election, and the war, and everything that went wrong. I forced the hand of my people, my son, and now I've been left to die.
I will not die, not yet.
As I look around the room, simple and only four walls plus a door, a button stands out the most. Out of all four walls, a small button shaped like a square, stands out more then the signs and the blood.
I find myself captivated by it. The world around me blurring together, while the small wooden button becomes the only clear thing I can see.
One press, and this whole place blows.
One press, and this whole place will be only a memory.
One press, and it's done.
"I'm doing it for L'Manburg, for Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy. I'm doing it for me, and Niki, for all of us." I whisper quietly, like a prayer to a god I don't believe in. Like in confessing the one sin that is worse then the rest.
"I'm doing it, for peace." And I reach for the button.
