Am I longing for someone?
Or just eager for attention?
Or never been satisfied in life?
Or never been enough for everyone?
These questions are being questioned in my mind
Again and again— day, night until dawn..
Been wondering if I still feel the real happiness
Had so many friends but, why am I feeling the loneliness?
The emptiness..
The darkness is swallowing me
Exhausted indeed
Running barefooted..
I keep on escaping and escaping until I lost myself
Why am I really escaping? I need answers, a real one..
Remember that we are not oblige to find others
But we have to find someone; someone who's brave enough to survive without a doubt, without hesitation, without overthinking, and without the feeling of fear
Hold on, hold tight
Stop escaping, face it and fight
So be that someone...
You don't need others, all you need is you alone to find you
Find yourself, keep it safe until you see your worth
You may lost a track of your time and path and be covered by dirt
But when you manage to complete those elements of being someone,
You're no longer have to run
You just have to sit on your own throne
And let everything within you be completely grown
Defend it
Protect your peace
Don't let anyone bring you down
Don't let anyone manipulate you nor control you nor tell you what to do nor tell you of who you are
Because at the end of the day, it always depend on you..
Wake up! It's your life
Treasure it, don't lose it again
'Coz you may think that you are not free but the reality is you are just imprisoned by your own thoughts...
So you have to decide what's important to you and set your mind to it
Make sure, it's a decision that anyone could not beat
Find your joy by letting go of false happiness; 'Coz by accepting our current situation can make us be more happier
Get rid of inconsistent people-- those always telling a word but never been proven by actions
Keep in mind that you don't owe them any explanation
What's important is your peace and direction..
Yes it's not that easy but when you believe in yourself-- nothing's impossible
Instead of finding a way, you'll just found out that you are already making one
Smile 'coz everything's going to be fine and be done
So when you come back, that's the time you've already completed the poem
And finally you can say, "I found me, I'm home".
