" Bout time damn. " Kd mumbled as the group was finally seated.
If Sabrina hadn't learned anything about him from that night at the club, she definitely learned today that he was very impatient.
They had only got there ten minutes ago.
The group at a couple of tables pushed together since most of the larger tables were already taken.
" Soooo Miss Bri... " Kd trailed off looking at Bri who sat across from him.
" What? " She was too busy trying to figure out what she wanted to eat.
She hadn't eaten all day and her stomach was speaking English, Spanish and French right about now.
" So you doing exactly what yo daddy- "
" Nigga don't speak on shit like that in public. " Bri cut him off immediately, rolling her eyes.
" A spitting image of dat' mane. " Ben laughed sitting on the right of her.
Brayden caught the guys attention once he started talking about the game that was playing on the tv.
That left Bri to take her time reading the menu.
" A Ribeye sound good as fuck. " Bri mumbled licking over her lips.
" Don't bite the picture bitch. " Chas teased as she made her way to the table.
" Bout time yall showed up. " Bri laughed seeing the rest of them pile in and fill up the table.
She spotted an older male, lightskin with a fade. He wasn't dressed to impress but you could tell he had money from the single cuban on his neck that match his patek watch.
A female followed behinf him as well as they sat at a booth behind the large group.
Bri didn't say anything about it, but she definitely peeped.
Chastity sat next to Kd on the other side of the table while Joe sat next to her. Three and Boomer filled the ends of the table, leaving Kentrell to sit Bri.
" Bri why you neva' come chill when Chastity come? " Kd asked making all eyes land on her.
" Obviously I be busy. " She shrugged.
" This nonchalant shit gon' make me break you. " Kd pointed his index finger at her, earning some laughs.
They all fell off into their own conversations as Bri sat there and just listened.
A couple times they got a little too rowdy, almost getting put out before even eating.
She could tell that they were all big kids at heart. None of the violent things the internet portrayed about them seemed to concern her.
She knew everyone had a story.
After getting their food and a different waiter, per Chastity's request, the group all dug in, not wasting any time.
" Y'all good? Y'all need anything to drink? " Their new waiter asked.
Some answered no while others shook their heads due to their mouths being full.
" You sure you don't need anything? " She directed her attention to Kentrell who chuckle at her question.
" Bae tell ha' I'm good. " Kentrell nudged Bri as he took his fork into her potato.
Bri quickly mugged him before fixing her smile looking toward the waiter.
" He's fine love. "
The waiter nodded, catching the hint and walking away. Before she could get away good, Sabrina already had her hand upside Kentrell's head.
" Chill dis' shit too good ta' be wasting. " Kentrell coughed as he chewed the food.
" Don't touch my shit again. "
" So when the baby due? " Kd blurted looking between the two.
Kentrell threw his head back laughing along with everyone else. Bri held her mug looking between them all, not finding one thing funny.
" Fuck is yall talm' bout? "
" Y'all flirting so when the baby due? " Kd asked again.
This time he couldn't control his laughter, falling out of his chair, hitting the floor repeatedly.
" Delusion at its finest. " Bri mumbled.
Everyone went back to their side conversations and eating their food. Bri groaned lightly as her second phone started to ring in her pocket.
It was her official first day using that second phone and it was definitely giving her a run for a money.
She stepped away from the table and made her way outside the restaurant.
" Woee? " She answered.
" Guh who you shot already? " Tre's voice flowed through the speaker.
Bri kissed her teeth before laughing a little. She made a mental note to save his number in this phone as well.
" Lit'boy had too much mouth. Then he called me a bitch? Know I woun' going fa' dat. "
" Focused, I'm just checkin' on ya. Got him straight already too. "
" Preciate it. "
" Fasho, stay dangerous youngin'. "
" Always. "
The two hung up and Bri let out a sigh of relief. She was actually enjoying being out with her friends and their company.
Just as she grabbed the door handle, her work phone rung once again.
" Finna turn dis' bitch off. " Bri mumbled. " Who this be? "
" Dis' Niel. I was callin' ta' turn my cut in fa' today. "
Bri kissed her teeth before looking at her apple watch around her right wrist.
" I'a be there in twenty. " She hung up.
Bri walked back inside the restaurant and made her way to their table. She opened her fanny pack and pulled three crisp hundreds out, laying them on the table.
" Fa' the bill. I gotta go. " Bri stated, giving her attention to Chas and Brayden.
" I got it shawty. " Kentrell grabbed the money, handing it back to her.
Bri took it, placing right back on the table.
" Y'all tagged along with us. It's my treat. "
" Ion' too much care bout all dat'. I got it, you good. " Kentrell handed her the money once again.
The two stared at each other for what felt like forever to everyone else. Sabrina wasn't used to a male doing for her other than her father.
Especially someone around her age. She felt " li'boyed ".
Breaking his gaze, Bri handed the money to Chas, giving her a nod before making her way out the restaurant.
" You betta' put dat' shit in yo pocket or some. " Kentrell told Chastity as he started to eat again.
Sabrina got inside her car, releasing a breath she didn't even know she was holding. Grabbing her main phone, she texted the groupchat with her, Brayden and Chas, making sure Brayden was okay with riding Chas.

Sabrina held down his last message, pressing the laughing reaction while letting out a couple chuckles.
After replying " 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐭 ", she turned some music on before making her way to the trap.

" You interrupted my night ta' only bring me $75? " Bri looked from the money in her hand to Niel a couple of times. " Fuck Ima do with this? "
" It was slow. " Niel mumbled with his eyes glued to the floor.
" Speak with ya chest lit'nigga. " Bri said as she stood to her feet.
She made her way around her desk and the boy silently prayed that she wouldn't hurt him as bad as she did his colleague earlier.
Bri bypassed the boy, making him release a raspberry lowly. She opened the door so Niel could hear her announcement as well.
" Startin' today, we bring a week worth of profit on Wednesdays. It's less than a band, that's yo ass. " Bri spoke loud and clear. She made eye contact with almost everyone of them that had the courage to even look at her.
It surprised her how much fear she instilled in them solely on being her father's child. It was almost pathetic for her to see.
She couldn't let a soul that bled just like her put an inch of fear in her heart. Maybe it was the way Daniel and Nicole raised her.
Maybe it was her nonchalant ways that wouldn't let her emotion get tangled up enough to display fear. Either way, the female was going do what she had to.
" When y'all bring profit in? " She asked.
" Wednesday. " Someone far back answered.
" Ight. " She nodded, fixing her shirt a bit. " If we already checked in, why you still hea'? Work or go home. "
She walked back inside the office, leaving the door open. The workers all followed her commands, some saying their goodbyes to their colleagues and making their ways.
" Take these funky ass seventy five dollars. It ain't happening nomo' right? " Bri looked up at Niel who still avoided all eye contact with her.
" Okay. " He tried to grab the money.
" Look me in my eyes. " Bri held the money closer to her. Niel slowly made eye contact with her, feeling his heart was on his shoulder how loud he heard it beating.
" If you can't look nobody in their eyes, how they gon' know you mean business? " Sabrina asked him, her gaze calm, too calm to Niel.
He shrugged, swallowing the lump in his throat. Bri scoffed shaking her head.
" Getcho' ass home or go work. " She stuffed the money in his hands and her hurried out her office.
" Tha' name Big Bri. Not Bri, but Big Bri. " She yelled out to anyone that was still inside.
" Or Boss Lady. " Demetris yelled making Bri smile.
" Yeah, Boss Lady. " Bri mumbled, loving the thought of the name.
