"Zayn , you're late."
"My goldfish died ."
The teenager sighed taking a seat next to Niall since that was his assigned seat and he didn't have much of a choice.
Niall kept trying to tap Zayn's shoulder and beg for him to talk to him but Zayn was already frustrated about his grades and didn't want to put up with the fighting .
Niall called Zayn about 100 times but he hadn't answered and he wouldn't answer his skype calls either .
"Zaynie , please talk to me."
" Fuck off ."
Niall frowned moving away from the boy a bit since he had basically screamed in his face. At first Niall was completely oblivious to why Zayn was so hurt but then he realized that he actually does like Josh . Otherwise he wouldn't have gotten so upset when he found out about him and Greg .
"Raise your hand if you can tell me why you think the story of Romeo and Juliet ended so morbidly instead of happily ?" There teacher spoke and Zayn raised his hand which was surprising even for himself .
Niall wasn't even listening to Zayn's answer he just watched as his lips moved slowly and his eyes sparkled every time he succeeded in explaining what he actually meant .
At the end of class Zayn was quick to get up quickly and storm out the classroom but Niall followed him eventually grabbing his arm and stopping him .
"You can't ignore me forever." Niall concluded and Zayn rose an eyebrow .
"Well.. You can but I would prefer you didn't ." Niall corrected himself .
"You like Josh , don't you?" Zayn asked in on a serious note .
"Maybe a little .. but I know I love you and you're who I want to be my boyfriend not Joshie." Niall finished and Zayn may or may not have been softening.
"I love you forever .." Niall smiled leaning up against the wall and pulling Zayn closer to him .
Zayn pressed a kiss to the blondes forehead .
"Only me?"
"Just you." Niall promised as Zayn's body scooted unbelievably close to him.
"You're mine, right ?" Zayn muttered pulling Nialls cheek up so they looked eye to eye.
Niall nodded and Zayn kissed his lips softly .
Zayn wrapped his arm around his boyfriend and moved out the corner for them to walk to their next class .
By the end of the day Greg was waiting outside in his car while his stereo blasted One Republic .
Niall and Zayn were walking outside since school was over.
"Zaynie look , Greg's here Ill be right back ." Niall told him before running off to the car and hopping in the passengers seat making Greg jump.
"Hi did you come to pick me up ?" Niall smiled , he was hoping the whole thing was blown over and they could just get back to normal .
"Are you mad at me?" Greg asked ignoring Niall's initial question .
"No I just want everything back same ." Niall spit out in the best way he could .
"Ni you know things won't be the same anymore ."
"So we won't play together anymore ?" His bottom lip quivered as he looked away in an effort to keep his tears from spilling .
"We can still hang out but , I have a boyfriend now which means I can't give you all my attention . You're my younger brother , you know I love you but I can't keep living for everyone else I have to make myself happy ."
Niall looked up when there was a knock on the window and there was Josh obviously wanting to get in the car .
"Oh .. Okay then ."
He opened the door and got out the car for Josh to get in who was apparently still not talking to Niall.
Josh kissed his boyfriend on the lips once he shut the door behind him .
"Greg?" Niall interrupted tapping at the glass himself as if it was a role reversal .
Josh winded down the window so Niall could speak to his brother.
"Can you please tell mummy and daddy I'm staying over Zayn's house tonight ." He asked and Niall could tell he was resistant but nodded anyways .
Josh rolled his window back up as they drove off . Sometimes Niall wished he had a rewind button . He wished he had reacted differently to Josh and Greg because if he did they wouldn't be giving him the cold shoulder like this and Greg would still be acting like .. Well his brother just how close they used to be .
Niall entered the car where Zayn was patiently waiting for Niall .
"I'm sleeping over yours tonight ."
"Okay but Louis' going to be there." Zayn told him and Niall nodded with a slight grimace. He's scared of what might happen he doesn't know how Louis feels about everything although if he can accept Zayn maybe he can accept Niall .
"Were meeting at the mall." Zayn told Niall and he nodded.
"Can I invite Harry ?" Niall asked and Zayn shrugged.
Niall pulled out his phone and sent a text out to Harry who agreed to meet them there.
Once they reached the mall Louis was already there in the food court waiting for them .
Zayn greeted Louis and Niall stood there awkwardly before sitting down in the seat next to Zayn .
"I don't want you two acting weird around each other . Let's not dwell on the past and give each other a fresh start ." Zayn said and Louis nodded standing up to hug Niall shortly which was a bit uncomfortable for him but it's way better than being called rude names by him.
"We should eat first then look around ." Zayn said and they all agreed making there way to the Taco Bell section .
They ordered a whole box of tacos which included 12 and say back down once they got what they had ordered .
When Harry came in Niall smiled jumping up to hug his friend .
"Ni , thanks for inviting me ."
He smiled once the blonde let go of his grip .
"Yeah of course .. We're sitting over here so follow me ."
Nialls smile fell once he noticed Harrys outfit . Harry wore a sleeveless flannel that was open showing his abs and tattoos , short shorts that barely reached halfway down his thigh , and white converse.
His hair was perfectly fluffy and curly and his teeth were extremely white .
Niall noticed how he doesn't have all those things . He doesn't have abs , curly brown hair , and he definitely doesn't have tattoos . Harrys just like Zayn .
He would be lying if he said he didn't noticed how Zayn eyed Harry up and down as they reached the table . How he bit on his lip and and smirked each and every time Harrys shirt opened a bit more .
"Zaynie !" Harry said very surprisingly hugging around the raven haired boys neck .
They let go and Harry looked as if he's just seen Jesus himself.
Niall was in fact jealous . Nobody calls him Zaynie but him that's it .
"I missed you ."
"I missed you too ." Zayn smiled taking his seat once again .
"Aw you got a new tattoo , Cute." Harry said circling his finger around the 'ZAP!' tattoo.
"Cute? That's it ?" Zayn chuckled .
"For lack of a better word." Harry winked a playful smile tugging at his lips .
Zayn pulled at his bottom lip as Harry walked away from him .
Niall could tell Zayn was staring at his bum and he felt like his stomach was caving in.
"Hey ." Louis muttered to Harry and once Niall noticed how shy Louis was he smiled .
He never knew how shy Louis could be when it comes crushes . He didn't even know Louis likes boys , but hey that makes his life a whole lot easier .
"Hi , you're that guy who was stalking me yeah ?"
"I-What? I wasn't , I mean I-" Louis stuttered scratching the back of his neck .
Harry chuckled," I'm kidding, you're absolutely adorable."
Louis simply smiled even though inside he was dancing like he just won one million dollars .
"So , Harry we were just going to eat first before anything ." Niall said and Harry nodded .
Zayn threw his taco in the trash and Nialls eyebrows furrowed,"Zayn why'd you throw yours out ? You love tacos ."
"Yeah , but Harrys allergic." Zayn told him .
"Oh..okay ."
It has already been about 10 minutes and Zayn and Harry simply wouldn't shutup . Every second they had something to talk and or laugh about .
When Zayn said Nialls name , he actually got excited . He though for a split second his boyfriend would pay attention to him ,
"Niall were going to go look at some clothes , alright ?"
Not babe , not princess , not baby .
Just Niall .
"B-but where am I supposed to go ?"
"You and Louis can go to Aeropostale or something .. You know , or one of those girly scent store shit you always go to ."
It's called Bath&body works.
Bitch .
Niall thought to himself as the two walked away Harry first giggling at something Zayn said.
They both walked into Hollister a perky man who worked there greeting them and Zayn rolled his eyes at him before entering the store with Harry .
"I've been searching for these for like 3 months Zaynie , you don't understand ." Harry shrieked picking out a pair of fitted jean shorts that had a mini burgundy bird on the pocket of them . They rolled up at the bottom to about 5 inches above the knee .
Harry checked the price tag of the shorts and it read $68.50 .
"I only brought 50 to spend ,since I knew I would blow all of it ." He poked up his bottom lip and Zayn ran his thumb over Harrys chin as he put them back on the rack .
He pulled them back off and handed them to Harry," I got it."
"Really ?" He squealed smiling widely so that his dimples poked through .
"Yeah , but only because you'd look amazing in them ." He pulled his credit card out his back pocket as they reached the cashier .
Zayn paid for them and they made their way out the store.
After leaving Hollister Zayn followed Harry into Pacsun his favourite store in the entire mall.
"C'mon Zaynie walk faster."
Zayn watched as Harry picked out clothes that he liked or thought he would look good in.
"Can I get a fitting room ?" Harry asked the nearest working woman he saw .
"Yeah of course , right this way." She smiled pulling a key off her neck . The girl unlocked the room and let the door open for Harry . Zayn sat on the bench outside the fitting room and the girl lent him a smile before going back to the front desk .
Harry pulled off his clothes and slid on the bright yellow pair of beach shorts and walked out the small room .
"How do these look ?" He said with a leer , he knew exactly what he was doing to Zayn and he knew exactly what was most likely going to happen .
Zayn could hardly say anything it would be impossible since Harry did look absolutely breathtaking .
He just sat there staring at every inch of Harrys body hungrily biting at his lip .
Harry went back into the small room and Zayn looked both ways to see if anyone he knew would see him before he followed him locking the door behind the two . Harry giggled and Zayn pushed the boys hair back from his face .
"You're so beautiful ."
"And I've missed you."
Zayn told him lips lingering centimeters apart .
"It can be just like the old times." Harry muttered as he captured Zayn's lips in his and Zayn didn't even move his lips back against Harrys .
"Fuck , what am I doing ? I'm sorry Haz I can't do this ." Zayn left the dressing room and grabbed his phone waiting for Harry in the front of Pacsun .
Harry came out shortly in his original outfit and Zayn could tell he had been crying . Knowing someone for a long time has an affect on how well you can read them and their emotions no matter if they speak or not .
"Haz-"
"Rejection hurts okay? , so please Zaynie I don't want to talk about ."
Zayn nodded and Harry wiped off all his excess tears looking good as new by the time they met up at the front of the mall.
Niall was extremely frustrated with Zayn , he thought he was going to have a good time but instead he was bored the whole time .
"Harry , be careful okay ?" Zayn muttered as they all were at Harrys car . Zayn opened the door for him and Harry climbed in .
"I know Zayn just go."
He sighed and waved bye to Louis who rode in his own car as well since he's meeting them as Zayns house .
Once they began their drive to Zayn's house Niall spoke up .
"So what's with you and Harry."
"What do you mean ?" Zayn asked his heart was pounding faster than ever . As much as he has a weird way of showing it he loves Niall and he doesn't want to lose him . He knows if he finds out everything than he'll break up with him and he just can't have that .
"You two..were flirting a lot ."
"I wasn't flirting ."
Lie .
"How do you two know eachother ?"
"We just ..do from a long time ago ."
"Zayn please don't lie to me."
Zayn huffed ,"Fine we dated for a few weeks we had sex then I broke up with him ."
"Now drop it ." Zayn told him as they pulled up in his driveway .
"Oh..okay Zaynie ." Niall smiled at him . Zayn stepped out the car and Niall waited and waited and waited for Zayn to open his door for him and it never came .
