"Jimin, love, what happened?"

And Jimin so desperately wanted to tell him, but he couldn't. Fear of harming Yoongi- hurting the man he loved because of himself...

Jimin could not bear the thought.

The inability only made him cry more. Fingers bunching up the material of Yoongi's shirt, he sobbed.

"Was it Ajax?" Yoongi urgently asked. "Did he hurt you?"

Jimin shook his head vigorously. He tried to reel in his emotions; tried to take control of himself, but it took longer than he thought. He could not stop trembling. Nor could he put an end to the plethora of 'I hate myself' ringing in his head, over and over again.

Yoongi waited patiently, until Jimin's hold on his shirt loosened. He waited until the human had more control over his body- until he no longer looked like he was gasping for air.

"Do you want to talk about it?" the Reaper gently murmured, pressing a kiss to Jimin's temple and Jimin felt so unworthy of such care. He was doing nothing but give endless pain to Yoongi. "Did Ajax do anything?"

This time, Jimin shook his head more calmly. "He-he told me...where Fen is..."

And Jimin longed to fight against the lie- would have done so if it only meant that he was the one who had to suffer by going against Ajax. But Yoongi, sweet and gentle as he is...

No, there was no way Jimin could do this to him.

He watched as surprise flitted across Yoongi's face. "Are you sure, angel? There is no way...Ajax wouldn't..."

"I made him angry" At least this wasn't a lie. "I got him to-to blurt it out"

"Oh, angel" Yoongi leaned down to press his lips to Jimin's forehead. A gesture that once again had Jimin feeling disgusted at himself. "You really know no limits"

Jimin forced out a weary chuckle. "Somewhere called the Shrine of the King?" he whispered, only to be hit by the fact that he was leading Yoongi, and all their friends, to a trap. A trap that could cost them their lives.

Bile rose up his throat.

Just how disgusting was he?

"The Shine of the King" Yoongi muttered. "I did not realize that it..." he turned to Jimin again, oblivious to his inner turmoil. "Are you sure that's what he said?"

No, I'm not. Can't you read my mind? "Y-yes"

"I am still surprised he let it out like that..." the Reaper mused. "I suppose we have to go quickly, in case he takes Fen out?" he was looking at Jimin as if the human held the answers to all the problems he's ever had.

And Jimin could not have felt even more disgusted by himself.

You're so stupid, he wailed internally. You're actually going to get everyone killed. You're going to lead everyone to their deaths. They're going to die because of you.

And all of a sudden, being next to Yoongi was just too suffocating. He shuffled in the man's grip, leading Yoongi's to raise his eyebrows in surprise, letting Jimin go. He stood up shakily, brushing down his clothes.

Jimin tried to muster up a smile, no matter how fake it looked.

"Let's go now, yeah?" he suggested. His voice sounded weak.

Yoongi slowly nodded, uncertain of what to make of Jimin's expression and tone. "Let's" he agreed.

The way out, surprisingly, was easier than Jimin could have imagined, maybe because he was too busy diving deep into the self-loathing session to take notice of what was happening. They met Hoseok on the way out, holding up a sheaf of papers, looking grimly triumphant. Yoongi explained what had happened and the former Seelie was nothing short of exhilarated. He was not at all suspicious, which had Jimin's hopes dashing away that someone might get suspicious of Jimin's behavior. He hated this. He hated having to lie so brazenly to those he'd come to love.

He hated himself.

As they tiptoed to the back entrance once again, the guard was sound asleep, snoring away merrily. This time, it was Yoongi who took the lead, seeing that Jimin was seriously shaken. He crawled over to the gate, deftly pulling the lock open. They ran outside, leaving the gate closed, but unlocked: a risk they would have to take.

"Do you know where the shrine is?" Hoseok demanded. Yoongi, who had his fingers wrapped around Jimin's wrists, gently tugging him along, nodded.

"It is not very far actually" the Reaper replied. Everything around him was like a hazy mess for Jimin, and if not for Yoongi dragging him along, grounding him, he wasn't sure if he'd find the motivation to walk ahead at all. "I'd say it would take about three to four days on foot?"

"Do we go home, or just directly from here?"

"I don't know" There was a slight pause which had even Jimin noticed, despite his dilemma. "But maybe we could stay for the night. Get some rest"

Hoseok hummed. "We sleep out in the open?"

"It does not look like rain, so I suppose yes?"

"Seokjin would not like this" Hoseok sniggered. He seemed completely at ease. Yoongi laughed along too.

Jimin was barely in his right mind when they reached their destination, where Erata and Seokjin fussed over them and asked for every intricate detail. Jimin leaned on to Yoongi's side, exhausted. The Reaper wound his arm around Jimin's waist securely. He muttered something to Seokjin, and what felt like seconds later, Jimin was being laid down on a cool blanket.

He let out a small whimper, curling into a ball and succumbing to the weariness.

**

"They beat me up. Yoongi's parents beat me up for who I have befriended. They said, how dare you even come close to my son?

Am I that disgusting?

Am I really that repulsive?"

**

When Jimin came to, everyone else around him were sound asleep.

A small smile graced his lips, as the delicate sunlight landed on the scenario that was Yoongi sleeping next to him, and Erata cuddled up to Hoseok and Seokjin snoring away merrily.

The curve of his mouth promptly fell into a frown when he remembered what a heartless idiot he had been, volunteering himself to go on a quest that had no good result. At least in Jimin's perspective. He was going to get them all, at the very least, captured. Worst case scenario? They'd all be killed. All because Jimin had an intense savior complex.

Even if Jimin tried to stall them going to save Fen (actually who knew if Fen would even be at the Shrine?) they would eventually make it there. They would eventually fall right into Ajax's palms. They would all eventually get caught.

All because of Jimin.

A violent rage ripped through him, only slightly quelled by the sudden soft groan Yoongi let out, before he shifted on the blanket.

Maybe Jimin could write a letter...

At the sudden idea, Jimin jumped up, sifting through his bag until he came across the pad of papers he'd taken just in case, and pulled it out along with a pen. He sat down, hopeful, and moved his hand so as to write-

Only to realize that his entire body had suddenly locked in place and a blazing pain ripped through his right hand.

Yoongi awoke with a startling shout.

Jimin scrambled to the Reaper's side, eyes widening as he looked at the man sitting up and nursing his right hand with a look of confusion.

"What- what happened?" Jimin whispered, thought he already knew. And he felt sick to his core.

"I don't know" Yoongi replied. "It just- hurt"

Seokjin, who had jumped up at Yoongi's yell, and was now aiming a glare at the man. "Not the best time to have a nightmare, Yoongi"

"It was not" the Reaper protested. "In fact I was dreaming-" he broke off, cheeks turning pink. "Never mind"

"Ohoho" Seokjin smirked, having enough sense to tease albeit being sleepy. "I wonder what you dreamt of? Surely not of an innocent little angel?"

Jimin's stomach churned at the pet name.

"Shut up" Yoongi grumbled. "It is time we get going. Hoseok!"

And despite the hopelessness, Jimin had to smile at Yoongi's antics. Hoseok stirred at Yoongi's call, cracking open one eye. He pouted, but gently shook Erata into waking up.

It didn't take long for them to get ready. Seokjin had packed some food, as had Erata and Jimin. It wasn't exactly the best, but they made it work. Less than half an hour later, they were geared up and ready to go.

Well, all except for Jimin.

"Are you alright now, angel?" Yoongi asked, intertwining their hands. And Jimin tried his best not to get annoyed at the endearment, knowing that Yoongi was sincere. But he couldn't help it. Distaste ran through his veins.

He decided not to dwell on it.

"A bit" he stiffly replied. "Ajax is...a lot to take"

Yoongi nodded. "Yes, I know, love. If you want to talk, I'm here, okay?"

Jimin bleakly nodded. Once again, he felt suffocated. He wanted to get away. Curl into a ball and cry. He didn't want Yoongi to be so caring. Not when Jimin had gone and messed things up so badly. Jimin wanted to hurl out. Yell. Throw something. Because life was anything but fair. Life was a complete and utter mess.

But he held it in.

Yoongi sighed and squeezed Jimin's hands. "I'm right here, angel"

It was a relief to Jimin when Seokjin deemed them all okay enough to go on. "So how do we get to this shrine, Yoongi?"

The Reaper contemplated this. "We used a portal yesterday, and I'm sure someone must have noticed it. Especially if there is curfew, as you say. The shrine is in the Northern Division itself. So it would take about four days. And there's the risk of Ajax moving Fen. He might have already, but we had to take the chances since..." he looked at Jimin, lips pursed. "Anyway, we have to start now"

"So there's a chance that this could be a lost cause" Hoseok frowned.

"Very much so" Yoongi affirmed. "But we have no choice. We can't risk opening another portal so soon. It is basically like giving directions to where we are"

"Elyxion sucks" Jimin muttered. He did not meant it to be heard, but the rest did anyway, and sighed in unison.

"I would love to disagree but at the moment, yes" Erata nodded. "Let's get going, yeah?"

Jimin hummed.

And they set off...

**

...to face hoards of mosquitoes, dozens of frights from sudden soldiers patrolling and empty stomachs because they couldn't agree on what to eat and had a tight budget and ended up leaving without eating.

"I told you we should've taken the roasted chicken" Erata grumbled. Hoseok slung his arm across her shoulder playfully.

Jimin sighed. He was getting edgier by the minute, and barely a day had passed. He also couldn't help but notice how weary Yoongi looked, and he kept insisting the man to drink up his medicine, all to no avail. Yoongi kept claiming that it would be of better use in the future, rather than right now.

Jimin shuddered at the mention of the future.

It didn't help the flames of guilt ripping through his veins that he too, was getting weaker by the moment.

Everything seemed to be against him at the moment.

The curfew that had the busiest part of the Northern Division silent, apparently did not affect the towns further beyond it for the shops were open. But there were so less people milling about that it was hard for a group of five to go unnoticed.

Yoongi, who self-proclaimed himself as an expert in Elyxion, was stumped. According to him, everything had changed and so many places that had been nothing but mere landscapes full of trees and weeds were now transformed into sceneries with quaint little cottages and gardens dotted around the place. It was for their ounce of good luck that they had, that Seokjin had thought of bringing a map with him. Yoongi had pointed out their destination, and they'd spent the whole morning plotting out the easiest way. Jimin was, of course no help with this, for he knew absolutely nothing about the roads of Elyxion, so it was Hoseok, Erata, Seokjin and Yoongi who had argued over their probable pathways. In a way, it stressed Jimin out even more. He was of no use in a world he did not know, and he just kept piling on more and more problems for the rest, due to him underestimating Elyxion.

He wanted to go home.

He wanted to go home and snuggle up to Taehyung and eat ice cream. Watch some random TV show and complain about it. Go clubbing.

He missed his life.

If wasn't apparent before, it was more than apparent now, that he was sticking out like a sore thumb among the other four. Yoongi would argue of course, no doubt he'd say something along the lines of, you're an angel, love. You fit in just right, and the thought had a bitterness welling inside Jimin's stomach.

He couldn't help but feel as if Yoongi was treating him as Orenda.

Jimin hadn't allowed himself to feel so, but he couldn't deny it. How Yoongi would never fail to mention I'm so glad that you came back to me and his soft little angel and Jimin just couldn't help but feel as if it were reserved for someone else; for his past life. And sure, Jimin knew he loved Yoongi as quickly as he had because of his past life, but this was a life Jimin did not even remember. He'd known about his past life through some unceremonious visions, and even then, it hadn't given out much about himself. Just how Yoongi and Orenda had fallen in love. Maybe he was being delusional.

Jimin pursed his lips, his own thought pulling him deeper and deeper into an abyss.

He know he shouldn't feel so, but he was jealous with his own past life because- because-

"Angel?"

-Because of that.

Jimin tried to compose his looks. "Yeah?" he turned to face the Reaper.

"You look a bit green" Yoongi commented. "Are you sure you want to go on?"

The other three had turned to look at Jimin, concern marring their expressions and Jimin steeled himself. As much as he felt like his feet wanted him to stop, he didn't want to be a further inconvenience to them.

"No, I'm fine" he firmly stated. "Let's go"

And it crossed Jimin's mind that he was leading them probably to their demise. His mood soured even further.

Yoongi took Jimin's hand in his, lacing their fingers as the five of them walked forward, following the path they'd plotted- and the despair-it was too much.

He wanted to tell. Indicate something. Anything. But what if-

What if it leads Yoongi and him to die?

And Jimin was scared. He was scared of Yoongi and dying and himself too.

But what if he blurts out something, without the intention of letting out that Ajax had said something? There was a little hope in that, but how would Jimin manage it? Maybe let it out that we was a liar? Would that even work?

Maybe. Just maybe.

Just as they took a left in a forked path, they almost ran into two guards, walking towards them and they tried to look as inconspicuous as possible. It worked, for the two men paid no mind to them. Seokjin visibly relaxed.

"It is almost night, maybe we should look for a place to eat and get some rest" he suggested, opening up the map. He squinted at it. "We have almost covered one-third of the path. Not quite bad"

"Not quite bad, but not good enough either" Yoongi grimly added.

Jimin glanced at him. "You don't look like you can handle more, to be honest. Let's call it a day, yeah?"

Hoseok affirmed this with a nod. "Let us ask someone if there is a cheap shop around here"

It took them more than quarter on an hour to find someone who would not eye them suspiciously, and another good ten minutes to walk to the shop pointed out by the man they'd stumbled upon.

"We eat anything, okay?" Erata hissed. Jimin's lips twitch into a smile.

Much to the girl's pleasure, the grimy little shop offered chicken and a faded liquid- that Erata quietly mumbled was the alcohol of Elyxion. Yoongi had stared at the drink in his hand forlornly.

"What's up?" Jimin asked. The Reaper shook his head.

"Just remembered my days at the palace. The alcohol was exquisite" with that, he gulped down the drink in one go. "Who would've thought I would end up like this"

Seokjin scoffed. "If you were the Demon King still, we wouldn't have met, you fool"

"Yes" Hoseok leaned closer to nudge Yoongi teasingly. "We know you cannot live without us Yoongi"

"You wish" Yoongi grumbled, but his lips had the hint of a smile. "Life would have been peaceful without you two"

As Jimin looked at the playful banter, he couldn't but help his heart falling down into a deeper pit of despair. Decades of friendship, and Jimin was just going to lead them to die.

Much to his comfort, the conversation tilted into their current situation.

"Will Ajax have an army to assist him?" Seokjin asked, wiping his mouth with a small napkin. "I have a feeling that he will ask the demons to join"

"And they would gladly assist" Yoongi distastefully said. "Those bastards need proper handling"

Jimin blinked. It was weird to hear Yoongi speak like that.

"I wonder if the Seelies too, are assisting him" Hoseok mused. "Maybe not the angels though. You heard that the council has been rounding them up, right?"

Erata hummed. "Maybe we could make them join our side"

"By giving motivational speeches?" Jimin grinned. The witch opposite to him laughed, her voice warm.

"They're angels. They would listen to motivational speeches"

"Demons on the other hand..." Seokjin shook his head in dismal. "Complete nutcases"

"I would not say complete nutcases" Yoongi grumbled. "But yes, we can't really on them this time"

"Witches?" Hoseok questioned. "Whose side would they join?"

Erata squinted. "That's tricky. We'd go for the one with the most chance of survival, I guess?" she looked over to Seokjin, who nodded, agreeing with her. "And at this point, it would be Ajax's side..."

"But if we were to reason with them?" Jimin argued. "I mean, they have to see how chaotic shit is"

"There's a chance" Erata agreed. "But before everything, we need Fen"

Jimin paused, the despair wracking through him again. He raised his arm mechanically to drink the alcohol. It burned as it flowed down his throat, but right now, even the burn was welcome.

"How-" he gulped down the lump of emotions in his throat. "If it came to it, how can you kill a demon?"

Yoongi's eyes flashed. "Silver"

Jimin frowned. "Silver hurts them?"

The Reaper nodded. "Scars them horribly"

"Is it...is it the same for you?" Jimin hesitantly asked. Yoongi nodded. "Oh"

Hoseok cleared his throat. "Anyway, we better get a move on. The shop keeper has been eyeing us with a scowl for a while now"

It took them a while to truly wrap up their dinner and stand up. Seokjin paid for them. The witch had a vibrant smile once he joined the rest of the group again.

"We do not need to sleep outside" he exclaimed. "The shop keeper has lent us a room"

"Lent?" Hosoek repeated, suspicious.

"Well I may have charmed the man, but the point is that, I do not have to sacrifice my beauty sleep" Seokjin promptly turned to walk inside. After sharing a look, Yoongi and Jimin too, followed the man.

They only had one tiny room, but nonetheless, it was better than sleeping on the rough and uneven ground.

Squeezed in together, the five of them fell asleep, all worn out.

For unknown reasons, it was Jimin who again, woke up first the next morning. Stumbling out of the cramped room (now even more cramped for everyone except for Seokjin slept haphazardly) he rubbed his eyes, walking right up to the owner of the little shop for a washroom. On his way to the aforementioned washroom, he glanced at a clock hung on the wall, only to realize that it was still six in the morning.

When he was done getting freshened, the first person he saw was Seokjin.

He flashed the witch a small smile.

"Good morning" Seokjin quietly greeted. "And do not get alarmed, but I wish to talk to you"

**

"What is it?" Jimin asked, trying to compose him voice. He was nervous. But what if Seokjin had been the one to finally crack his secret?

The thought had him hopeful.

"You haven't been yourself lately" Seokjin bought a plate full of pancakes and placed it on the table. Jimin's mouth watered. In reply to Seokjin's comment, Jimin hummed.

"I get it if you don't want to talk about it, but..." the man sighed, sliding to the seat opposite to Jimin. "It would help you if you did"

Jimin honest-to-god didn't know what he'd done to deserve such torment. All these kind souls, and yet he was repaying them with what- snitching them off to Ajax.

"I-I can't" he whispered, heart breaking. He directed his gaze to the table, rather than the witch in front of him.

Seokjin nodded, looking a bit disappointed. "That's okay. But let me tell you something?"

Jimin cocked his head to the side.

"About myself. My story."

"Oh"

"I do not know if it would help you to hear this, but, yes" Seokjin took a deep breath. "Would you like to know?"

Jimin nodded. "Only if you really want to, though, yeah?"

The witch gave a sad smile. "I was a human" he began. "A vain one. I thought I deserved more than anyone else"

There was a silence after his words. Jimin didn't know what to say. He certainly hadn't expected Seokjin of all, to be human. He just seemed to blend in so well with Elyxion.

"I wanted to live forever, be immortal" Seokjin continued. "And so, I prayed. I prayed and prayed. Until one day, Yoongi found me. He was, for some reason, by the sea that day. He asked me whether I really wanted to be an immortal. He told me that it was not as glorious as it seemed to be. But I was adamant. I knew that Yoongi was someone special and that he could help me. I thought that maybe god had finally heard my prayers"

He gave a bitter laugh. "Yoongi took me to Elyxion. He told me that he couldn't go out right then, for he was in hiding. He sent me off to a witch- someone he knew- with a letter. The witch in question, she was no ordinary one. Back in the day, witches handled practices that were much advanced, and now rarely followed. She- she said she could grant me my wish, on one condition" Seokjin halted, taking a deep breath, as if this part was hard to get out. "She would give me immortality, but in return, I would lose my- my right to live on Earth again. Those days, I was a fool. I did not contemplate it any further than the fact that I would finally get immortality. I was delirious. Everything was perfect"

Jimin sensed the dread even before Seokjin's mouth curled up in a grimace. "Then I met him. Ages later. Centuries later. I could not stay on Earth forever, but I could manage it for a day or two. But then, when I decided I wanted to have a little stroll on Earth- I met him. A human. A human who made me regret the choices I had made ages ago and had been rather happy with until now. He quelled my vainness. We fell in love. Until we realized that our love was impossible"

Jimin's throat dried up. He could see where this was going.

"He could not live in my world and I could not in his" Seokjin said. "I talked to Yoongi. And the only thing he said was, he could aid me in whatever I decided to do"

So there really was no hope for Jimin and Yoongi?

"I thought about it day and night. Until the only solution was to break it up. Break us up. And the idea tore me inside. But it was better now than leading us both on. I had Yoongi to erase the memories of myself, from the man I loved. I haven't seen him since, being honest" Seokjin bought a hand to clutch at his heart. "I haven't forgotten him either"

He looked at Jimin, sadly and there was nothing Jimin could feel except for the horrifying sadness threatening to drown him.

"The thing is, sometimes, love is not enough to win the battle Jimin" Seokjin softly said. "And I am sorry to say it, but in my case, that is the only piece of advice I can give you"

"Yeah" Jimin gulped. "Yeah I- thanks..."

"I am sorry" Seokjin repeated.

"No no, don't be" Jimin shook his head. "You're only trying to help, and I get that"

"There could be differences. Yoongi and I are not the same, physically. Maybe there could be hope, but don't hold high expectations"

Jimin nodded. "So you aren't a witch?"

"I have lived like one for centuries, so I would say I'm more attuned to being one now" Seokjin held up his hand, tracing his index finger, right where his ring used to be. "Yoongi trapped some of his magical stamina in a ring for me" he absent-mindedly said. Guilt washed over Jimin. He'd been the cause of Seokjin's ring shattering.

"I'm sorry" he muttered. Seokjin shook his head. A silence wrapped around them.

The pancakes had gone cold.

There was the sound of footsteps and Hoseok plopped down right beside him with a grin. "What's up with the gloomy faces, hmm? We slept under a roof, be happy"

Erata slid into the seat next to Seokjin. Jimin laughed. "Where's Yoongi?"

"He was the last to wake up" Erata replied with a yawn. "He'll get here"

True to her word, Yoongi appeared not a moment later, hair messy, and sat down next to Jimin. He leaned in for a quick kiss.

"Why did you wake up so early?" he grumbled and Jimin couldn't help the smile, despite how stressed he was.

"Maybe because a certain someone couldn't stop kicking" he teased.

"I do not kick" Yoongi indignantly spluttered. Jimin poked his cheek.

Despite the playful banter, when his eyes met Seokjin's over the hubbub, Jimin couldn't help his mouth curving downwards.

**

Just to highlight their bad luck, it started raining.

Not just raining, it was a heavy downpour that head them seeking for shelter, and even under shelter, getting impossibly wet.

It was horrible.

The bad weather resonated Jimin's mood. Horrible thoughts swirled across his mind, trying to break him down and it was all Jimin could do to focus on reality.

"This isn't working" Erata glared at the heavy skies. "The stupid rain should have waited for another few days"

Hoseok sighed. "You used to be so timid, my child"

"That-" Erata whirled to face the man. "Is because I was warming myself up to you guys. Now, meet my true form, the daredevil"

Seokjin chortled. "Yes, sure"

Jimin sighed, hands fisting. He really wanted to block his thoughts out to give him some clarity, but no when did Jimin even have a cooperative mindset?

"Angel?"

Jimin scowled, pretending not to hear. He did not want to face another existential crisis right now.

"Love? Are you okay?"

Does it look like I'm okay?

He could see the others looking at him, again with concern splashed across their faces and it only caused more frustration inside of Jimin. The rain whipped across his face.

"Yeah" he breathed our through gritted teeth.

Yoongi took in his expression, unsure of what to say. He looked so lost that Jimin took pity on him, morphing his expression into that of a relatively calm one.

"Well" the Reaper started, with a little smile. "Angel, you know that I am very glad that you came back to me right?"

And Jimin snapped.

He couldn't help it. Maybe it was the stress of what Ajax had him to do or his intuition of Yoongi treating him like Orenda or maybe even the story Seokjin had recited to him earlier that day. Maybe it was a mixture of all. Maybe it was the bad weather.

But whatever it was, he snapped.

"Don't you think I know you're glad I'm back?"

Yoongi jumped back, startled.

"It's all you've been saying, for the past goddamn weeks" Jimin seethed. "I'm glad you're back, I'm so happy you're back- and goddammit I get it already okay?"

"Angel-"

Jimin inhaled sharply at the word.

"Don't you get it?" He cried. In his periphery, he saw his friends back away, giving them space. A small part of him that wasn't mad, was glad that they did. "I am not Orenda!"

Yoongi looked frozen in place. He tried to say something- parted his lips to do so- but no sound came out.

"I am not Orenda" He tried to calm himself down, at least enough to discuss this problem through with Yoongi. But in a moment of clarity, he realized that didn't want to discuss it. He was tired. He wanted a break. He wanted some peace.

"Jimin what are you-" Yoongi couldn't finish his sentence.

"You keep saying you're glad I'm back- but don't you get it?" there were tears in his eyes, Jimin realized. "I might have been Orenda in the past, but I'm not him now"

And finally, finally, Yoongi seemed to grasped what he meant.

"I'm not your angel -" through his wavering voice, Jimin somehow managed to twist the endearment. "back so you can make amends and feel good about yourself or what happened. I'm not him. I'm not. I'm Park Jimin"

The Reaper was much like a statue at this point.

"I'm not-I'm not a cardboard cut-out of Orenda, Yoongi. I'm Park Jimin. I'm my own person. Orenda might have been me in the past but I-I'm not him. I'm not"

There was a silence after his words. A one where only the two of them existed, eyes locked with each other, but not looking deep into their souls as many other times their eyes lock. The rain pattered around them, soaking them, and Jimin's hair was clinging to his forehead.

Finally, Yoongi spoke. He still seemed dazed.

And yet, the first word out of his mouth had Jimin's world crumbling down.

"Angel please -"

"Don't" Jimin whispered. He wasn't sure if the Reaper heard it or not, through the rain, but he must've, for he stopped. He seemed to realize his mistake, for his eyes widened. "Please Yoongi, please,

Don't call me angel"
