3 more days to go~

_____

When they parted, their lips didn't move very far: Jimin could still feel Yoongi's pants right on his own lips. His eyes opened to see Yoongi looking down at him, crying. The sight bought Jimin to hysterics too and he could feel his shoulders shaking, almost violently with his sobs.

Jimin wanted more. God, he wanted so much more. Looking at Yoongi's face, the glittering orbs, thin pink lips and cute little button nose, he could feel the desperation welling up inside him. But any more than this, and he'd be completely wrecked; be completely broken into pieces.

Despite his rationality yelling at him to stop, he leaned forward, because how? Just how could he resist someone like Yoongi?

And Yoongi too, was leaning forward, grip tightening on Jimin's waist and Jimin closed his eye-

Only to jump a foot in the air when,

"Yoongi!-"

The two of them separated as if electrocuted, as the word rang throughout the kitchen and jolted them back into reality.

Seokjin and Hoseok stood by the entrance of the kitchen- how had Jimin not even heard a single footstep?- staring at the two of them in complete shock and horror. Seokjin's eyes held more than that though, Jimin realized with bitterness, his eyes held pity.

In the silence of the kitchen, Jimin could feel himself fidget, desperate to explain himself but also not wanting to.

"We shall...be in the living room" Seokjin exhaled, turning away to walk out, dragging Hoseok with him. Jimin could hear the former Seelie protest, but he paid no mind to it.

"Jimin"

The human turned to face the Reaper in the light of the kitchen.

The raven black hair, the dark eyes often glittering with mirth, the pale skin and the cute little nose-Jimin wanted to engrave them into his mind.

He hummed, realizing that Yoongi was waiting for a reply.

"I hope..." Yoongi's shoulders squared. "I wish you the best of luck for your future"

Jimin seriously didn't want to cry again, but he could feel the traitor tears wetting his lashes again. "Thank you" he smiled, though it was a bit wonky. "And you-" seriously Jimin, stop chocking. "Please take care of yourself"

He knew they were just both keeping up the pretense up so the other wouldn't get affected and it left him a bit sad: their last moment and they were opting to lie.

Yoongi stepped forward, and in one quick moment, so quick that Jimin almost missed it, he took Jimin's hand in his and kissed the back of it.

They were both holding back what they really wanted to say, Jimin knew, but in this moment, he figured it was better that way anyway. His heart was too fragile for anything else.

I might just be in love with you, Min Yoongi.

At least he wasn't alone in that, for Yoongi's eyes seemed to echo the same thought; the same words.

**

When they walked into the living room, eyes not meeting each other, the mood was somber. Seokjin looked at him almost inquiringly, but Jimin just shook his head. He couldn't bear to think of the last few moments.

"Right" Seokjin cleared his throat. Hosoek was still looking as if he was in shock, clearly he hadn't processed what he'd seen yet. "Maybe we should get the ritual done"

He briskly got up from the couch, right up to where the vials of medicine where kept. He picked up one and thrust it at Yoongi. The Reaper looked at him questioningly.

"You need the energy Yoongi" Seokjin's tone left no room for protesting. "And you cannot convince me otherwise"

So Yoongi gulped it down.

Still, Jimin couldn't help but worry though. Just how much energy would Yoongi be expending? Would he- would he be okay?

"You're...You're going to be okay...right?" he hesitatingly asked the Reaper, not quite managing to meet his eyes.

"Hopefully" Yoongi replied dryly and Jimin's head snapped up at that to glare at the man. But his words dried up in his throat when he saw Yoongi was looking at him with such a fond gaze. He could feel himself getting trapped in tha-

Seokjin cleared his throat.

"We have a ritual to complete, if you have forgotten" he aimed a look at Jimin that clearly said stop making it worse for yourself.

Jimin took a deep breath and tried for a smile. He was pretty sure it came out like a grimace though.

"Lead the way"

**

Jimin was nervous.

Standing in the middle of Yoongi's little garden, facing the said man, he had no idea of what to expect. They said it would hurt, but Jimin couldn't help but doubt and overthink it in his head till he was positively trembling.

Seokjin had opened a portal beforehand, and had claimed that it was a direct gateway to Jimin's own hospital room, back on Earth. Since he was in a 'coma' for his family members, he was still merrily unconscious on an uncomfortable hospital bed. Seokjin had told him that the times ran a bit different in Elyxion. Nothing too drastic, in fact, Elyxion ran on almost the same time as America. Meaning that right now, in Korea, it would be just past midnight. Which was wonderful for Jimin, who could sneak in without anyone seeing and get on bed and act like he'd just woken up.

Or something along the lines. He could worry about the specifics later.

Jimin had asked why Seokjin had opened a portal now, when the seal on his neck wasn't even broken, and he had replied with a slightly twisted smile.

"I am not the average witch on Elyxion, Jimin" he had said. "My magic comes from a ring, given to me by Yoongi himself" at this, he held up his right hand to show Jimin a sparkling orb encrusted in a thin silver ring. "And...I have a bad feeling about it today"

Jimin had asked what he meant by that, because bad feeling and today in the same sentence made Jimin's stomach tie into knots.

"Oh it is nothing for you to be worried about, honey" Seokjin had patted his head. "You will be able to reach home safely, unless Draiotch had lied to you"

Until that moment, the possibility had never even crossed Jimin's mind.

Now, he stood nervously, hoping that nothing would go wrong at least for once. A strange kind of excitement curled in his gut. He was going back. He was finally going back.

Hoseok stood by the porch, watching them with alert eyes.

Yoongi stood in front of Jimin and Seokjin at the back. He saw the two of them share a nod and at once, both held their arms out, index and middle fingers pointing out like a finger gun and eyes closed in concentration.

Jimin's heart did a flip. Or a several of them, he didn't know. All he knew that he was so mind-numbingly nervous.

Yoongi and Seokjin started chanting, their joint voices almost soothing: not too soft yet not too loud. Jimin couldn't understand exactly what they were chanting, for it wasn't a language he couldn't recognize. Maybe it was a native language on Elyxion.

His eyes widened when in front of him, a luminous blue line drew itself on the grass, continuing until Jimin was trapped inside a square.

And then, from the drawn square rose four walls, all light blue and opaque, encasing Jimin in its midst.

Jimin panicked, feeling suffocated all of a sudden because through the prison of light, he could not even see Yoongi. He looked up, breath hitching in his throat as he saw that the four walls ran almost sky-high, blending in as one line at a point so far above the ground.

What calmed Jimin down was the joint chanting of the Reaper and the witch. Taking comfort in that, he waited, heart beating a mile per second.

His eyes widened, almost comically, when the material on his right shoulder ripped ̶ but there was no pain. His head turned just in time to watch the seal, bright red in color, jump out of his skin and grow bigger and bigger in size until Jimin looked almost small in comparison to it.

And then it cracked.

The symbol, beautiful in its own way, started cracking at its edges and then gradually reaching the middle, until it looked nothing but a desolate and broken painting.

In a blink of an eye, with a loud noise that almost deafened Jimin, the broken symbol vanished into thin air, leaving no sign of it behind and though Jimin was still on Elyxion, he could suddenly feel the freedom.

It took perhaps another minute or two for the light blue walls to lower until they hit the ground, forming a square by Jimin's feet and then altogether vanishing off into nothingness.

He watched, enthralled, as Yoongi still continued chanting, doing a weird gesture with his hands, before he finally lowered them to his sides, looking weak on his knees.

And then, it was over.

He could feel himself completely drowning in joy because finally. Finally he could go home.

And then his joy turned into horror, when he watched Yoongi fall on to his knees, all in slow motion.

Hoseok rushed forward, as did he but this time, it was Jimin who caught the Reaper, gently laying his head down on his lap and shooting an urgent look at Hoseok. Hoseok looked a bit put off but ran inside the cottage nevertheless.

Jimin brushed away the stray strands of hair off the Reaper's forehead. Yoongi just looked horribly exhausted and apart from that, he seemed to be completely fine. Jimin sighed in utter relief. Thank god nothing horrible had happened.

Yoongi shot Jimin a weary grin and Jimin smiled back, widely.

Seokjin trudged over to where they were, flopping on the ground next to him. Though he looked marginally better than Yoongi, he still looked just as spent. He breathed harshly and threw Yoongi a look. "It was much easier this time" he huffed, almost laughing. And Yoongi chuckled too, though he looked close to fainting. Hoseok dashed up to them, opening a vial of sustenance and gently pouring it down Yoongi's throat. They all watched as the potion worked its magic and Yoongi's labored breath narrowed. Jimin was still amazed by how the potion helped Yoongi so thoroughly and it crossed his mind that he had meant to thank Seokjin for ever coming up with such a solution for Yoongi's curse.

When he opened his mouth to reply, however, he could feel his lips curving downwards. He looked at the three men around him: three men he'd grown so close to. Lying on the grass in Yoongi's front garden, Jimin realized more than ever that he had grown impossibly fond of these three people.

"I'm going to miss you three" his voice was thick with emotion. "I'm going to miss you guys so much"

Yoongi's hand reached up to caress his cheek while Seokjin aimed him a reassuring smile and Hoseok rested a hand on his knee. Jimin stifled down a sob.

"We are going to miss you too" Hoseok quietly admitted. "Like I said, you have made these past two months livelier than ever, you know"

Seokjin hummed. "That is true. I am sad about Mochi though. He was pining for you"

Jimin gave a wet laugh. "God, I couldn't even say bye to him" his lips twisted slightly upward when Yoongi's hand fell down to intertwine their fingers. "Thank you. Thank you for everything you guys did for me"

His eyes fell on to Yoongi's, who smiled, albeit a bit sadly.

"You should go now, Jimin" Seokjin suggested gently. "The portal is not going to last forever"

Jimin nodded slowly, gently pushing away Yoongi from his lap to stand up. He brushed down himself and looked at the former Seelie, the witch and the Reaper, three kinds of people he'd never thought he'd make friends with. He grabbed his bag from where it was on the ground, he'd bought it outside earlier, and took a deep breath.

And then in a sudden rush of emotions, he dashed forward to hug each of them tightly, saving the last embrace to Yoongi. If he had the choice, he'd never let go of this man, but sadly he didn't have any choice.

So he let go, eyes slightly blurry with tears.

"Stay safe" he whispered. He looked at each one of them, looking at Yoongi lastly. "I'll ̶I'll go now"

"Take care, Jimin" Seokjin called. "You will be fine"

"Stay safe" Hoseok yelled.

Looking at them one last time, all smiling at him with a hint of sadness and Yoongi's fists clenched, Jimin once again took a deep breath, turning to face the portal.

Closing his eyes tightly, he jumped in to the seemingly never-ending darkness.

Tears slipped past his eyes and whipped past him, as he fell down and down, leaving behind an entirely new life, hopefully back to the life he'd been cruelly snatched away from for two months.
