I was driving to the hospital as fast as traffic would let me. Genesis went to go drop the girls off at her Auntie's house. I parked in a front spot and grabbed my wallet and phone. I jumped out and ran into the hospital. I went to the front desk
"I would like to see Cordell Johnson please!"
"Okay. Calm down miss. Is your name Jania?" The lady asked
"Yes"
"May I see your ID. I just need it for proof"
I showed her my ID and she typed something in her computer and led me to the room Cordell was in. I walked in and she walked out and closed the door. I walk towards the bed and he looked at me with tears in his eyes
"I'm so sorry Jania. I was literally on my way to come get you," Cordell said
I layed next to him and buried my head in his chest
"I don't care about that. As long as your okay"
"Is Genesis okay?" He asked
"She should be here any minute now. She went to drop the girls off at your aunties"
"Okay. Can you stay here with me?" He asked
"Yea. What did the doctor say?"
"I have to stay here due to me having some bones broken in my back and it hurts when I move it," he said
"I'm sorry. It's all my fault cause you were worried about coming to get me," I said as I started to cry
"Look at me Jania," he said
I looked up at him and he pecked next on the lips multiple times
"It's not your fault. Someone wasn't paying attention while driving. It could never be your fault. Your too innocent and pretty for that," he said caressing my cheek
"Please don't ever scare me like this again," I said hugging him carefully
"I won't. I promise ma," he said
"So about you calling me your girlfriend earlier. Did you mean that?" I said smiling
"Hell yea. You are my girlfriend," he said smiling at me
"And your my boyfriend"
I gave him a kiss and Genesis walked in right after that
"Are you ok bro?" Genesis said quickly walking over to the bed
"Yea. Now that my girl is here," Cordell said
"Y'all all lovey dovey," she said smiling
"Oh about that. One of my friends wants to date you"
"Who? Julio? Cause that's one fine nigga," She said doing a little dance
"Yea. He said you should come over one day"
"Bet," she said doing a little twerk
"Ight Genesis! That's enough," Cordell said mugging her
"Well I'm finna go get the girls and then bring you back some clothes for the rest of this week," she said
"Okay. Thank you, I love you"
"Love you too girl. Take care of my brother," she said before walking out the door
I turned to Cordell and smiled goofy
"What you smiling at me like that for?" He asked
"Cause your so cute"
"And so are you," he said and then pecked my forehead
I laid on his chest and watched whatever was on the tv. I am happy that we are together, he was what I needed and showed me how a man was supposed to treat me
2 Months Later
Me and Jania's relationship has been going well. She helped me through my recovery from the crash and I appreciate her for that. I walked in the kitchen and saw Jania cooking. I had to get a house cause living in that condo wasn't cutting it. I just needed a new and fresh space
I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her stomach. I kissed her head and I could tell she was smiling
"Good morninggg," she said
"Good morning. You know you didn't have to cook. My aunt invited us over for breakfast"
"Okay. Well I didn't cook much. Let's go get ready," she said as she turned off the stove and threw away the food
She walked off and headed upstairs
"Babe. I know your not mad"
"Maybe I am. Come on so we can go," she yelled down from the stairs
I was getting the girls ready for this little breakfast my Auntie was having. I got Tiana dressed and sat her on the couch next to Malani. I went in my room and put my clothes on I had layer out on the bed. It was now November so it was getting colder

I was waiting on Genesis, the girls, and Cordell to get here. Little did they know their parents were here. They might be mad but it is what it is. Some things need to be talked about and now is the time
