Forth's pov:
"Have you heard from Park and Aki?" I asked Knock and Mensah.
We are now sitting on the bed.
They shook their head.
I tried reaching Aki but he blocked me. Mesah sighed.
"I can't reach Park either." Knock added.
We frowned.
I tried reaching them through the mindlink.
Aki? Park?
No answer.
"Why are they blocking us though?" I turned to Kai.
They are probably brooding over the fact that they couldn't take down Drole and Gloxinia. It hurt their pride i guess. He sighed.
"Why don't we go to their packhouse then? They won't be able to hide from us there." Pha suggested.
I looked at the others.
They nodded in agreement.
"Let's go then." I said.
We got up from the bed.
We used apportion and appeared infront of their packhouse.
I heightened my senses trying to find them.
"They're in the backyard." I said.
The others nodded.
We used apportion again and appeared in the backyard.
Park was laying down on the grass staring at the sky.
"Park." I called him.
His head snapped towards us.
He immediately shot up.
"What are you guys doing here?" He asked us.
You've been blocking us. So we came to see if you're still alive. Mensah dead panned.
He looked away.
You two are still brooding over the fact that you couldn't take down Drole and Gloxinia huh? Kai crossed his arms.
Park pursed his lips.
"Park do you even realise how powerful they are?" I asked.
"Of course i do. I fought against them remember?" He growled.
"And yet you're still brooding over the fact that you couldn't beat them. You should be proud of yourself for actually stalling them and even managing to injure them." I sighed.
"You guys fought against them?" He looked at me.
I nodded.
And we couldn't even lay a finger on them. So you should be proud of yourselves. Kai added.
He blinked.
"They would have just killed you if you couldn't lay a finger on them. They didn't look like they showed any mercy." He tilted his head.
Kai pursed his lips.
"I managed to send Kai back to the packhouse before they killed him. As for me, well i did die but they didn't kill me. I kind of killed myself." I answered.
He looked at me confused.
"Let's sit. I'll explain." I said.
He led us inside and we sat down in the living room.
I explained everything that had happened that day and how i got back.
Park looked really bewildered by the end of it.
"You guys actually did better than us fighting against them." I sighed.
"I think it was because we fought against two of them and not all at once." Park said.
Knock and Mensah nodded in agreement.
That's true. Kai mumbled.
"So stop blocking us. Brooding over the past isn't going to do anything." Knock looked at Park.
He sighed deeply and nodded.
"Yeah. Sorry i won't block you guys."
We smiled satisfied.
"Park?" Suddenly a voice we didn't recognise came from the stairs.
A man who looked like he was in his early twenties came into the living room.
I smiled warmly.
He stared at Kai and Mensah.
"These are the other two guardians. Knock and Mensah. And....." He trailed off and looked at me.
"I'm still a werewolf. Not fully one but you could say I'm half werewolf." I smiled.
Park's mate looked between us confused.
"Sit. I'll explain." He patted the space next to him.
He came and sat next to him.
"These are Forth and Kai. And their mate Phana." He introduced us.
"Nice to meet you." He smiled at us.
We smiled back.
"This is my mate Lam." He pointed at him.
"It's nice to meet you Lam." I said.
He nodded.
"So why did you trail off at first?" He looked at Park.
"Well Forth's not exactly a guardian anymore. He's a god and a werewolf. A mix of both?" He looked at me unsure.
"Yeah that's about it. I don't really understand it either." I chuckled.
Lam was gaping at me.
"A god?!" He yelled.
We laughed at his reaction.
"No need to be uptight. I'm the same age as you guys so just talk normally." I said.
He slowly nodded.
Park's eyes wandered to Knock's neck.
He had a mark.
His eyes widened.
"My mate's back." Knock smiled widely.
"Wait he's back? How?" Park frowned.
"Well Forth asked the moon goddess to bring him back when he met her. He doesn't remember what happened before. He only knows his name and the fact that we're his mates. And his name is Max now." He explained.
Park raised his eyebrows and looked at me.
I smiled sheepishly.
We chatted for a while before deciding to head back.
"Max has been dying to see you. Can you come over for lunch tomorrow?" Knock turned to me after we appeared in our balcony.
I looked at Pha.
"Sure. We'll be there." He smiled at them.
They smiled widely.
"See you tomorrow then." He said before he and Mensah disappeared.
Pha suddenly lifted me up and brought me inside.
"Woah!" I yelped when he threw me onto the bed.
He slumped onto me and buried his face in my chest.
Kai pulled Zen out and jumped onto him falling onto the bed beside us.
Oof! Zen yelped when he fell.
I chuckled and wrapped my arms around Pha.
We all just laid there enjoying each other's warmth for a while.
A thought occured to me.
I searched through the my current spells to see if i have one which could do that.
Then i found it.
I looked at Kai and Zen.
Zen noticed me staring first.
Hm?
"Kai get up for a second." I said to him.
Kai frowned at me but sat anyway.
Pha also got up and looked at me questioning.
I wrapped mana around Zen.
When all the mana dispersed in his place was a human.
He had jet black hair and silver eyes. His built was just like ours and his skin was really tan in contrast to Kai's. He was wearing black clothes with silver stripes.
He looked at himself wide eyed.
Woah! I'm a human!
Pha and Kai turned to me.
"I just thought it wouldn't be fair if he's the only one in wolf form." I smiled.
Zen lunged onto me making me fall to my side with him on top.
I love you so much! This so cool! He yelled happily.
I chuckled and patted his head.
Kai suddenly pulled him up and sat him down on his lap.
He hugged him tightly from behind.
Hey wait that's ticklish. Hs laughed when Kai nuzzled his neck.
I tilted my head.
Kai grinned at me.
I knew exactly what he was thinking.
I grinned as well and turned to Pha.
He looked at me questioning.
"Would you guys be willing to let us have some fun tonight?" I smiled innocently.
They blinked.
"Fun?" Pha tilted his head.
"Yup." I answered.
What kind of fun? Zen narrowed his eyes.
Haish. Just answer yes or no. Don't be so analytical. Kai sighed.
"Sure....." Pha said unsurely.
Zen also nodded slowly.
"You can't back out ok?" I warned them.
They slowly nodded again.
"Great. Let's go find the others and go for a run together." I hopped off the bed.
Kai undid the spell and Zen went back in.
I also undid the spell and he came back in.
"What are you waiting for?" I looked at Pha who hadn't moved.
He snapped out of it and got off the bed.
I pulled him by the hand and we went out of the room.
I can't wait for tonight. Kai said. I could practically hear his smirk.
Me too. It's going to be fun. I smirked as well.
Pha's pov?
Hey pha? Zen called me while we were on the way to the backyard.
Yeah?
Why do i feel like we just dug our own grave by agreeing to them?
I don't know either. I have a bad feeling about this.
"What kind of fun were you guys talking about earlier?" I asked Forth.
"That's a surprise for tonight." He smiled.
