After a long day of going out for breakfast, exploring the park, and shopping, the four friends finally made it back to the hotel suite.
Sapnap and George dropped their shopping bags by the entrance. They staggered towards their bedroom and fell on top of their beds while Dream stumbled face-first into the living room's couch.
Malak, however, moved past them and into her room, carefully placing her bags on the floor. Unlike the rest of the guys, she settled on putting away the stuff she bought.
By the time she was done, George was splayed like a starfish and fast asleep, Sapnap was showering, and Dream―
Well, Dream sat on the couch, arms crossed on the back of the sofa and chin resting on them, watching her.
When Malak caught him staring, Dream surprised both her and himself when he smiled at her instead of looking away.
"What's up?" Malak asked hesitantly.
"I'm bored," Dream replies.
"And what exactly do you want me to do about it?" she chuckles and pulls herself up from the ground.
He shrugged. "I don't know."
"Okay," she thought, rounding the couch to sit next to him. "What do you usually do when you're bored?"

Malak leaned deeper into her seat and hummed happily as she hugs a drowsy Patches closer.
Dream, who has been looking around to find her another pair of headphones, lifted an eyebrow in amusement.
"I just love your cat so much," Malak sighed. "Patches is so cute! I love seeing your tweets about her."
Dream chuckled. "What about me?"
"You're okay."
The blond scowled at her but she pays him no mind.
She continued brushing the cat's fur with her hand until she feels a hand move her hair away from her face.
Malak looked up just in time for Dream to place the headphones on her head.
"There!" he beamed.
Patches trilled in distress and Malak realizes she's been gripping the poor cat tightly.
"Oh!" she gasped and goes back to running her fingers through Patches's fur. "I'm so sorry, love."
Malak looks back up and Dream's already sitting at his desk, placing another pair of headphones on his head and greeting his viewers.
"Hello!" he grins widely. "Are you guys able to hear me?"
They both watch as his chat floods with yesses.
"That's good, then," Dream laughs. "Hi, everyone," he repeats. "Malak's here too."
"Hello," Malak chuckles. "How's everyone doing?"

"I'm going to assume most of you are doing well, then," Malak laughed.
"How are there seventy thousand of you already!" exclaimed Dream as he logged onto the Dream SMP server.
"I think we both know the answer to that," Malak replied, grinning widely.
Dream rolled his eyes and said nothing. Instead, he silently walked along the prime path leading towards an all-too familiar dirt house.
"What are you doing?" Malak asked suspiciously.
"Guess what I'm about to get."
"On my nerves."
"What—? No," Dream frowned and glanced sideways at her.
Malak waved her fingers and laughed loudly when his face twisted in displeasure.
"You say that as if I always get on your nerves," Dream sighed. "Which I don't, by the way."
"I hate to disagree with you," Malak started but was quickly cut off.
"Please," he scoffed. "You love to disagree with me more than anything, it's your favorite thing in the world—"
"Favorite is a strong word."
"—That's why we fight over stupid shit all the time!—"
"That's because you say stupid shit all the time."
"—At this point, I don't know what you want from me," he continued, ignoring the fact that she kept interrupting him. "I roast you and you hate it. I'm nice to you and you hate it. What if I just die?"
Malak narrowed her eyes and scrutinized him.
"OH, SO YOU HATE THAT TOO!"

"Okay," she sighed softly and pulled her chair closer to his. "Did you get everything off of your chest?"
"Kind of," he muttered. "I'm sorry, I'm frustrated."
"It's okay," she smiled. "I'm sorry too, I can be frustrating sometimes."
"Sometimes?" he quipped. "More like all the time."
"That's fair," she laughed. "So," she inquired, gesturing at the game-screen, "What are you gonna get?"
"Oh," Dream grinned evilly. "I'm gonna get on your nerves, alright."
"You've got to be fucking kidding me."
