Darkness has beauty,
A beauty that no one else can see,
Just you, and I.
Darkness speaks volumes,
it's the music to my heart.
It's where my thoughts echo,
To fade away into the void.
Peaceful it is, to stare at you,
With nothing but a void in my heart.
Yet, you stare back at me,
Filling me with a longing,
That I've never once felt.
My soul reflects your eyes,
Both stark black like -
Nothing I've ever seen.
I love that I can see myself in them.
Chaos, yet somehow fitting,
Like the ends of a missing puzzle.
A mess, that's what we are.
Like that of a spider web,
Chaotic, yet beautiful.
There's no demons under my bed,
They're all in my head.
And oh darling,
I'm not bothered,
By the demons you hide
There's a void in my heart,
Where they can abide.
