POV : Sander
I am feeling better, since Monday I try to talk to other people, eat well, just live normally. But Robbe keeps avoiding me, I dont know if I scared him by not wanting to talk during my little crisis but I was just not able to calm down and I needed to take some rest.
Jens tried to ask me some stuffs about my parents sometimes, him and Robbe really seemed to care contrary to what I thought. I decided to not tell them anything about my parents, I am already the guy who sleeps all day and seems depressed, I don't need to also be the guy who has issues with his parents.
It was always Jens who was asking questions, never Robbe, he was just listening quietly.
Britt keeps trying to cheer me up because I am a bit off recently, I dont like having Robbe ignoring me, and I don't like seeing him with Noor. Which is pretty sad because I actually like Noor, I mean she is super nice and cool, I really enjoy having her as a friend, but I cant stop hating on her for having what I want. It is so unfair.
Noor is sitting on Robbe's lap. She looks at me and say :
- Hey Sander ! Could you maybe take a pic of Robbe and I ?
From everyone, she had to choose me. I try to smile and answer :
- Sure yes.
I take her phone and take a few pics, then I get up and ask :
- Is it enough ?
She watches some pics.
- Yes ! They're perfect ! Thank you Sander !
Robbe looks at me, but I cant read any emotions in his look.
- You're welcome Noor, you two are so cute together I had to take the best pics ever ! I say just to see Robbe's reaction
He completely ignores it, I sight and leave.
My mom calls me.
- Hey Sander, how are you ? she asks
- I am fine, thanks for asking, you ?
- Oh I am great dont worry, how is it going at the house ?
I sight.
- Yeah it is pretty okay...
- Are you sure ? she doesn't seem convinced by what I just said
- Yeah, yeah yeah...
- Do you want to come back home ?
I dont answer, honestly I dont know if I want to leave this place and come to my place or not...
- Is there something you want to tell me about ?
As if she could do something...
- No, dont worry, I just... i just need to clear things up and being surrounded by people isn't really the best way to do it, you know ?
- Yeah, I see what you mean, do you want me to come by and take you back home ?
I hesitate and then ask :
- What does dad think about it ?
- I think he is okay with it, why would he not ?
- Well... you know how he is...
It takes her a few seconds to answer :
- I know he can be... hard with you sometimes, but he is doing it for your own good, to protect you.
I dont answer.
- Honey believe me, he loves you and he just wants you be happy.
- No, he just wants me to be normal.
- You are normal...
- Yeah tell him that !
I can hear her sight through the phone.
- I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning, okay ?
- Okay.
- Bye sweetheart, see you tomorrow.
I hang up and decide to go to sleep, I dont have the strength to come back seeing Robbe and Noor together !
