~fast forwarding to monday~
Maura's POV
The house is totally done, my room is huge and nice.
We went downtown once and it's really nice, I start school today.
I got out of bed and took a shower then I got changed into black leggings and a white vneck, I also put on a hoddie because it's cold here, it's December 15.
I wore my uggs, I straightened my hair down and put on make up.
Hayes was wearing khakis and a blue Tshirt and vans.
"Hayes you need a hoodie it's cold" Nash said
Hayes grabbed a hoodie then we left.
Once we got there, we went in and went to our homeroom.
This girl came over to us.
"Hi I'm andrea" she said
"Hi I'm Hayes" Hayes said before I could talk
"I'm Maura, it's nice to meet you" I said
"Let me see your schedule and we can see if we have any classes together" she said
I handed her my schedule, "we have math, English, and social studies together" she said
Hayes handed her his. "We have math and English together" she said
She went and sat down and the teacher did roll and all.
We had to go to first period so I put my stuff in my locker then got my English stuff and went to English.
"Wow" some kid said and was looking at me.
"What?" I said
"Haven't seen a girl around here like you in a while" he said and went to touch me
"No thanks" I said and walked away
I walked into English and sat down next to Hayes.
"Stay away from Ryan" he said
"That must be the kid that tried to touch me in the hallway" I said
"Yeah" Hayes said
This really hot kid came in.
He sat next to me.
"Hi, I'm Alex. You must be the new girl"he said
"Yeah, I'm Maura" I said
"It's nice to meet you" he said
"Me and my friends are hanging out today after school, if you guys wanna come let me know" he said
I wrote my number down, "here text me about it" I said
"Okay" he said
The English teacher took role and I talked to Alex that whole class, he's the nicest kid ever and he's hot.
The day went by really fast and everyone was so nice, Alex and Andrea talked to me all day.
We got home and Hayes is really smiley about something.
"Hayes what are you so happy about?" I asked
"Andrea" he said
"You like her!" I said
"Okay, and you like Alex" he said
"No, we just met. Yeah he's hot and really nice but it's only been a day" I said
I got a text from a random number.
"Hey, it's Alex. We're not hanging out today but we are Friday and your more than welcome to come" Alex said
"Okay" I said
"I have to go to hockey but I'm with Andrea I'll have her text you" he said
Then me and Andrea texted for a while.
I was sitting on the counter on my phone texting Andrea, she's so nice.
I was laughing because me and Alex were texting again and he made a joke.
"Why are you so happy?" Cameron asked
I locked my phone.
"No reason" I said
"Wait cameron, what about Kayla" I said
He just started crying and left
Holy shit what did I do.
Nash came in the house.
"Nash, I did something to cameron" I said
"Did you bring up Kayla?" He asked
"Yeah" I said
"Crap" Nash said then started making food
I ran upstairs after cameron.
I hear shim sniffling in his room.
"Cameron?" I said as I knocked
"Yeah?" He asked
"Can I come in?" I asked
"Sure" he said
I went in and he was on his phone and his eyes were red and puffy.
I just ran to him and hugged him.
"What's wrong kiddo?" He asked
"I'm sorry" I said
"It's okay" he said
"We just decided that long distance wasn't gonna work" Cameron said
"Okay" I said
I left his room and went downstairs and had pizza rolls for dinner.
"Maura soccer try outs for school start tomorrow"Nash said
"I know I'm doing them" I said
I did my homework and watched TV for a while and then I went to bed.
