Here I hang..
In the balance
Of what could
And could not be
On the edge of discovery

The precipice of mystery
Here and there
Nowhere at all
In the balance
Is where
I'm standing tall
Where I fall
Where I lie
Hanging on the thin thread
Of a lullaby
Awake
Asleep
Aware
Is what I mean
Tracing the footsteps
Of tomorrow
In yesterday's sands
As though today as it is
Had no real plans
Forgetting what is
To grasp what could
Or what was
That now, should
Be what would
Upset the balance
For uncertainty
Can only breed havoc
