The real happiness when children are around you is like the most genuine emotion.

Looking at a child while he/she does their things, so innocently and so carefreely makes a smile appear on your face automatically.

I laugh with Ayansh when he defeats Jay.

Jay look at us with a frown while we laugh more loudly and hi-fi each other.

Who would have thought that the school captain would lose the game of snake and ladder by his 5-year old brother?

Of course, no one.

Our parents are sitting in the living room while we three are in Jay and Ayansh room.

Their room is in the Black and white combination. The bunk bed is on one corner while a study table is on the other side in front of a window.

One corner has toys, and a small table which I assume is a play area for Ayansh. Besides that, the door was there, which leads to the balcony.

Besides the study table, there is a shelf which has both boy's photo frame, awards and medals. Conclusion: I love their room.

Ayansh is such a sweetheart, plus I am happy that he got along with me. He is talking to me very comfortably like we have not just met for the first time.

For me, being an only child was a blessing and a curse.

I got to enjoy my life of solitude. But I would have loved the company of my sibling. It feels good to have someone around all the time.

"Kiyu di," I turn to Ayansh as he calls me.

"Yes?"

"Bhai is teasing me," he points to Jay.

I fake gasp at him, "Jay, don't tease him. He is such a good boy, and it was your fault, you lost the game."

Ayansh smile at me and ignores Jay.

Jay hiding his smile at his reaction, turns towards me, "Hey, it was not my fault. I let him win."

"Nope, you don't let him win, he wins it by himself. At least you have a sweet sibling to play games with."

"You can take him with you. Then, you will know how sweet he is," Jay tells in a sarcastic voice.

"Hey! He is sweet," Ayansh smile at me at the compliment and once again goes back to ignoring Jay.

Just then, Jhanvi Aunty enters, "It is time for dinner."

I smile at her when she asks me, "Are you enjoying, Kiara?"

"Yes, Aunty. Especially with Ayansh, it was hard not to enjoy."

"Hey, I am also a good company," Jay whine like a kid.

It is surprising to see this side of his which is so carefree and comfortable. At least he was getting comfortable with me.

I laugh and wave my hand, "You sure are."

Jhanvi aunty left while Jay gets down first from the bunk bed, and Ayansh follows suit.

When I move to get down, my feet missed one step and boom I fall.

And nope I didn't fall on Jay's arm.

I fall flat on the floor.

Jay helps me to stand, trying hard not to laugh. I would have burst out laughing till now if I would be in his place.

He asks from gesture if I am ok. I nod at him.

"Are you ok, Kiyu di?" Ayansh asks me, his eyes full of concern.

"Of course kiddo. I am," I say, my heart already sour from the concern.

Jay smiles at us and motions towards the door.

I couldn't help but feel surprised when Ayansh takes my hand and starts walking.

The desire of having a younger sibling is making its way back.

Jay chuckles at my expression, which I know is showing surprise.

We three reach downstairs towards the dining room.

Both parents are sitting across each other.

I take my seat, Ayansh sits beside me while Jay across us.

Uncle and Aunty look surprised when Ayansh takes the seat beside me.

My parents smile at Ayansh to which he shyly smiles and then hides his face in my sleeve.

We all chuckled at his shy nature.

Jhanvi aunty smiles when Arun Uncle states, "Wow, that was the surprise. Ayansh never gets comfortable with someone in the first meet. Even, he still speaks less with Jay's friends."

Aunty nods, "Yeah. You are the first person to whom he starts speaking in so less time."

I smile at her, "Oh!"

Ayansh looks at aunty, "You know Mumma, Kiyu di had told me that I am a sweet and smart boy. Right, Kiyu di?"

I chuckle and ruffle his hair, "Of course, you are."

Soon, the parents engage in their conversation, leaving the three of us on our own.

"Why did you take commerce?" Jay asks me.

"Well, I have more interest in the commerce field then Science. What about you? Why did you take commerce?"

"Surprisingly, the same. I am interested in business. So yeah."

"Great."

"You still coming to hang out with us tomorrow. Right?"

"Yup. By the way, Where do we have to meet?"

"Cafe Coffee Culture. I will message you the address, and if you still face difficulties, I will come to your house."

"Ok. Great. Thank You."

"No Thanks, Kia."

I ignore the butterflies in my stomach when he calls me Kia and smiles at him.

He returns it, and we go back to talking to Ayansh.

The dinner went smooth, and now we are sitting in the living room.

Ayansh is telling Jay and me about his days.

"And then we wrote Tables," I smile as he gestures dramatically.

"Ok. So now we should get going," My parents stand, saying this.

"Are you going?" Ayansh asks with a puppy face.

"Yes. But I will come to meet you soon."

"Ok," he smiles, satisfied.

Jay turns towards me and gives a dazzling smile, "Meet you tomorrow, Kia."

I return the smile, "Yup. By."

"By."

I turn to uncle and aunty, "Thank You, Uncle, Aunty."

"Come again, Kiara. It was nice having you here."

"Will come. By," I smile at them and moves towards Ayansh.

"By Ayansh," I hug him and kiss his forehead.

"By Kiyu di," he kisses my cheeks.

"Next time we will play with my video game," he gives me a cute smile.

"We sure will."
