HEY! Right. Here's a new story that I'll probably complete in a few weeks. It's a fast paced twenty chapters romance story with a pretty plot that's been stuck in my head for some time. Well, it has love, money, violence, humor, so I'd say it's a whole package. yay.

Thank you so, so much for clicking into the story and giving it a chance.

Enjoy!

An exasperated sound escaped Raven's lips as she attempted to remove a patch of blood from her skin.

"What a hassle," she complained bitterly, staring coldly down at the body severed into several portions.

"That's rich," Celie, her literal partner in crime, replied. She gestured around the dreadfully smelling room of rotten flesh. There was a body in every corner, and dried blood staining the wall.

"I'm not talking about the killing. I meant how these people are foolish enough to force me to show myself," Raven said with a hint of agitation. " It's almost like they don't know any better."

Lowering herself, Raven began to carve two letters. Letters that many in the town of Domsvile recognise and fear. A symbol of the most hunted and smartest serial killer. 'RD,' a terrifying message that was all a game to her. It sounded more like a taunt of, 'catch me if you can'  to the local police that had been working on finding out who she was for the past year. They had never stepped close to succeeding, but they might. Even a girl who was raised in a grotesque environment and knew every little thing about hiding evidence can slip up once in a while.

"Are you done?" Celie scrunched up her nose in disgust. She was hungry, and watching her best friend carry out her job was making her lose her appetite.

"Yes."

Raven chucked the head of the man in the freezer before gesturing out the door.

It was not their house. It was more of a spot where hiding seemed the most convenient. Raven had made sure to study every little detail of the true owner of the house. His name is Jean Luc, and he worked in a relatively large company. Raven was acquaintances with the wealthy owner, who had been owing her a large amount of money.

She would think such a rich man would find it easy to pay back. She did quite a favour for him, after all. However, money was owed. He seemed smart at first, Raven had thought with a shrug. To hire the most wanted criminal in Domsville, then ask her to wait for months after the original paying date was a dangerous route to thread.

Jean Luc was on a business trip that was a year long. It was enough time for Raven to put a plan into place and call his house her home.

Alas, Jean Luc was expected to return home a day after. He'll be in for a surprise. His home has become quite a murder spot. A pity, but Raven brushed it off like nothing. He would have gotten some cash from that long business trip, she reasoned with her crew of best murder friends.

When Raven first killed in Jean Luc's home, she used the blood of her victim to write a sweet little message:

Hey!

A pleasure, Jean Luc. I'd be borrowing your home for a year. It will be caked in blood when you return home, but it's possible to clean them, so don't worry. I am very thankful that you allowed me the chance to have your home, so I might give you a gift in the future. Perhaps a festival or something else that is significant.

Sorry for the mess.

Also, I might still be hiding in your home when you return home and call the police. You never know, there could be a little hiding spot I created in your house.

Yours,

RD

There was no 'little hiding spot,' Raven simply thought it would be fun to let the police waste their time searching for something that does not exist. Celie had added a smiling face with a winking eye below Raven's message on the first day.

As they passed the wall of dried blood, Raven took a quick glance back at the mess. Maybe there was a shred of what might have been guilt that arose in her chest for that stranger, Jean Luc, because she knew how it felt to lose a home. Maybe she would simply get him a house, or allow him to stay at hers. It was a simple little cottage.

To the town, Raven was just a simple girl working in a company, living in a small house from her earnings. One day, that would change. One day, she'll move from the wretched Domsville, where every second was a risk.

Nobody knows her as RD, except for her crew. Nobody knows anything about the murderer except for the fact that a tattoo of the two letters, RD, was permanently on his or her back. She let the police figure it out with a mistake.

She had a few plans on how to divert attention away from her. A plan that would involve an awful risk. However, she knew she could somehow pull it off.

A crooked, wickedly beautiful smile grazed her face as Raven left the house beside Celie. They pulled the hood over their faces, further covering the tattoo on the side of their foreheads.

I'll see you soon, Jean Luc, Raven allowed the voice in her head to promise.
