I wake up to birds chirping and the sun shining down on my bare skin. I look around as I realize I have no clue where I am. I sit up quickly as I start panicking. I look to my right to see Lance sleeping next to me. "Oh hell no." I say to myself as I rub my eyes, double checking that this wasn't a dream. "Did I fucking sleep with my rival?" I question to myself softly.
I look at Lance who is sleeping peacefully as I gag. I look at my body to see me fully naked as I rub my eyes, "No, no, no." I say to myself as I feel a pounding headache starting to form. Flashbacks from last night start coming back as I remember the large amount of alcohol I consumed and how I ended up in Lance's bed.

I walk into the club with a massive smile on my face. "Y/N! I'm glad you made it." Valtteri Bottas says as I smile and hug the giant teddy bear. "How could I miss this celebration!" I shout over the music as he smiles down at me. "Ready to party?" He asks as I nod my head. "Show me how to drink like a Finnish person." I joke as he laughs and pulls me to the bar.
Shots, shots, and more shots were taken as the vodka burnt my throat. "Ugh." I groan as Valtteri laughs at me, "Struggling already?" He teases me. I roll my eyes in response with a scoff, "Of course not. Just watch." I say as I order another round. Shot after shot I take with a smile on my face as I feel the alcohol travel to my head. "Aren't you feeling anything?" I question Valtteri as he laughs, "Y/N, I'm Finish. I can drink a thousand drinks and still walk straight on a line." He says as I sigh but smile at him.
I look behind me and see Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez enter the club. "How come the Racing Points are here?" I asks as I motion towards the two drivers. "They good mates with Toto." Valtteri says as I nod but groan under my breath. "Why don't you like Lance? I always see how you two roll your eyes at each other and talk bad about each other in interviews." Valtteri says as I sigh.
"We dated in high school but he broke up with me because he thought I cheated." I say as he nods and smiles softly at me. "I'm sorry Y/N. I never knew you two dated." He says as he pats my back softly. "It's alright. I don't like telling people especially because we race against each other. It would give people an excuse to hate on me even more than they already do." I say as he nods, understanding where I'm coming from.
"I'm sorry to break this too you but Lance is making his way here." Valtteri says as I sigh and look at the bartender. "Can I please have 4 more shots of vodka?" I ask as he nods and smiles at me. "Valtteri! How are you man?" Lance asks as he hugs Valtteri. I roll my eyes as Valtteri chuckles, "Hey Lance." He says as he pulls away from Lance. "Y/N." he says as I nod at him. "Lance." I say as my shots arrive. I thank the bartender as I knock back two shots almost instantly.
"Im gonna head off to Toto." Valtteri says as I nod and smile at him. "Bye Bottas." I say as he waves me goodbye. I knock back another shot as I feel Lance's eyes burn into my skin. "I haven't seen you drink this much before." He says as I shrug. "I feel like drinking tonight." I say as he nods and looks towards the bartender. "Can I have 10 shots?" He asks as I look at him with wide eyes, "What? I feel like drinking too." He says with a smirk on his face.

Lance stirs in his sleep as I shake my head. I step out of the bed as quietly as possible and start grabbing my clothes that were scattered on the floor. I put my underwear and bra on until I hear Lance cough behind me. I roll my eyes as I turn and look at him, "Why hello beautiful?" He says with a massive smirk on his face as I turn my attention back to my clothing.
"Morning." I grumble as I put my jeans from last nights back on. "Why are you in such a rush doll?" He asks as I stop and face him. I cross my arms over my chest as I stare him down, "I don't wanna be here any longer." I state truthfully as I turn around and grab my shirt. "Come cuddle man." He says. I clench my jaw and stare at him, "Lance I don't like you! Christ, I even hate you!" I shout as I have finally reached my boiling point.
"That's not what you were saying last night." He says with a smug smile. I roll my eyes, "Ugh! Just leave me alone." I say as I put my shirt on and start putting my shoes on. I groan as my head starts to ache. "Are you alight?" He asks as he climbs out of bed and places his underwear on. "Yes." I stubbornly say as I see him shake his head, "You're clearly not." He says as he sits next to me.
"Please Lance, just leave me alone." I say as I try and tie my shoelace but in my angry state, I fumble with them until I just tuck them into my shoes. "Y/N, I'm trying to help you." He says. I shake my head and stare at him, "I don't want your help! Lance, I don't think you get it. You broke me when you decided to break up with me based on something I didn't even do! I don't need nor do I want your help." My voice cracks at the end of my rant as I stare down at my shoes. It's silent until I stand up and grab my phone.
"Y/N, wait." Lance says but I don't listen. I walk out of his bedroom and walk to the front door. He grabs my wrists as he pulls me to face him, "I'm sorry." He says but I roll my eyes in response. "Yeah sure. You're just sorry because you've made a fool of yourself and don't feel like being the bad person." "Y/N, I'm genuinely sorry. I don't know why I broke up with you. I... I was scared alright." He says as I frown my eyebrows and look at him.
"Scared of what?" "Scared of losing you due to my busy schedule. I kept telling myself that you had found someone better, someone who had time for you during that time. So when I saw a picture of you hugging your friend, I was so brainwashed by myself that I believed you cheated on me." He finishes as I look down at his hands that were still holding my wrists.
"Y/N." he softly says as I stare back up at him. "I can't believe I'm about to do this." I say. He frowns as I step on my tippy toes and place my lips on his. His arms wrapped around my waist as my hands held onto his neck and played with his hair. I pull away as I stare at him, smiling from ear to ear. "So am I forgiven?" He asks with a smile. "What do you think?." I question as I place my lips back on his.
