I arrived Xavier's house,I was beyond nervous when I entered and saw Xavier sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in his hand
"Good morning" I said nervously as I took off to my room
"So you decide to come and the only thing you have to say to me is good morning" Xavier said chuckling bitterly
"Um i have to get to work"
"So you think you can avoid me" I knew better not to say anything
"Answer me dammit" he shouted as I felt pain in my left cheek
Tears brimmed my eyes as I felt excruciating pain in my cheek
"I needed a place to sleep" I managed to choke out
"You bitch"
" I decided not to hit you but you just had to be stupid and run off with my friend " he yelled as he grabbed a fist full on my hair
" Please I'll stay away from him" I begged
"Will you now?" He grinned
"Yes please" I begged
"Ok baby I'm sorry for hitting you" he said as he raised me up and crashed his lips on mine. I resisted the urge to bite his lips so I decided to play along and kiss him back
"Get ready for work" he said as he walked out
I got dressed and left for work
"Good morning Kara" I said as I hid my cheek from my secretary
"Morning ma'am " she greeted as I walked past her to my office
I was handling some paperwork as I heard my intercom go off
"Hey Kara what's up"
"Ma'am you have someone here to see you"
"Name Kara" I said impatiently
"He chose not to say"
"Hmm"
"Ma'am should I send him in"
"Yes dear" I said as I anxiously waited for the person to come as I went through the paperwork on my desk
"Good morning " I said casually as I looked up and saw Nathan
"What are you doing here" I said I walked toward him
"Is that how to welcome your guest" he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming" I said as he caressed my face but I flinched as he touched my bruised cheek
"What the hell is that" he said as he saw my cheek but I didn't answer
"He hit you didn't he?" He said as I started sobbing in his chest
"Please talk to me let me help you" he said
"I care so much about you Crystal"he said as I lifted my head
I really like Nathan but I don't want to get hurt again but I have to take the risk. I crashed my lips on his and moaned in delight as I wrapped my legs around his waist
