"You let him slide without using honorifics?" questioned a voice beside Namjoon, making him jump. "Huh?? Why-" The leader turned to face the voice. Yoongi. "Yoongi-" He began, being cut off by the tired-looking male. "Don't worry, Joon-ah. Your secret's safe with me." Yoongi's eyes linger on Namjoon's phone screen for just a bit longer, until Namjoon turns it off. Yoongi's expression was unreadable, but Namjoon wasn't dumb. He could tell that his friend was mentally wearing a shit-eating grin. "What do you mean?!" Namjoon questions defensively, now sitting upright. "Oh, c'mon, Joon. M' not stupid." he held a small smirk at his friend who stared in disbelief. "You don't even know what you're talking about, Yoongi." Namjoon murmurs, looking down at his phone screen to distract himself from the obvious truth that he was oblivious to.
"Joon. I'm a genius. I know what I'm talking about. You like Jungkook." Yoongi replies, hearing the very familiar, slightly skipping footsteps of said maknae, coming downstairs. "But deny it all you want." says Yoongi, the same small smirk lingering on his face before it turned into a small, less-threatening one directed towards Jungkook. "See you later, Kook." he says, giving Namjoon one last glance before he heads upstairs to obviously sleep. "Hi, Joonie." Namjoon heard Jungkook's small soft voice beside him, immediately turning and being met with that heart-melting bunny smile that actually made him forget his name for just a moment. "Ah.. hey, bun." The leader replies, a little timidity in his voice, but the maknae didn't notice it. "Bun?!" A loud voice exclaimed, sounding like Jimin, followed by a few giggles from various members. Jungkook just laughed along with them, as if it were nothing. "C'mon, Kook." murmured Namjoon as he gently pulled the youngest's by his arm out the front door.
