I was going to the moon. Yay. This was going to be so fun. Note all the sarcasm I had in my voice. I sighed. I had been laying in my bed for a while, thinking about the mission. There were 2 things in mind for me. 1, how would I survive. 2, what would Elliot think of him? I sighed. I hope that he would do well without me.
No he wont
He will. You just don't know it.
He wouldn't even be able to find his way out of a maze with a straight path going to the exit.
Well maybe he knew that there were pressure plates on the ground in front of him. Therefore if he tried to go out, he would trigger them and then who knows what will happen? Maybe he would die. I don't want that to happen.
I still don't approve of this relationship you have with him.
So? I still like him. I mean, what's so bad about him. He's strong, smart, and cute.
The first and second ones are not true and the last one is not positive.
I shrugged. So? I didn't care. Plus, he had saved me once on my trip to the Apex tryouts.
Hmp. You should. People say the man is supposed to be more strong and help out more at the house but honestly, I think it is supposed to be the woman.

I chuckled. Even if he didn' t do anything, he still was great company for me.

I sighed. That was kind of correct. He didn't do much in order to help me. Of course, he always took care of me and was company for me but not much after that.

I sighed again. I would have to talk to him about this. I had to find something to hit back at the void.

I got one! He cooked for me. Whenever I was rather not in the mood to or couldn't cook., he would always help by cooking for me. Plus, his food was very good. It was delicious and saucy.
Fine. That's one. Anything else?
I was getting bored. I didn't reply. I got up and went to see Elliot. I walked over to his room ( right across mine ), and rapped on the door.
"Elliot!" I yelled.
"Coming!" I heard him yell back. He opened the door. He was in a casual beach shirt with the words Pineapple Man on it. There were pictures of pineapples all over his shirt. Fake ones. He smiled. I smiled too.
"I'm going to go on a mission to the moon." I said, scratching the back of my neck.
"Sounds fun." Mirage said, "Can I come?" I sighed.
"Sadly, you can't." I said miserably. He looked sad. "I gotta go. I said, starting to walk away from his room.
"Wait!" He yelled, grabbing my hand. I turned around. He was smirking. He got closer to me.
I blushed.
Smack him. It's the least lethal thing you can do.
I shuddered. Both because of Mirage being so close to mean because I had forgotten that the void was there. No, I would not smack him.
"I totally won't follow you." He whispered.
SARCASM
I know that there was sarcasm in his voice jeez. Maybe he wanted me to think that there was sarcasm in his voice. I calmed down, the blush leaving my face. I thought he was going to kiss me.
"Don't get in trouble." I said with a smile.
I hope he does
Shut up. I hope that you become more helpful.

"Void messing with you again?" Mirage asked. I shuddered in surprise as he said the words. I sighed.
"Yeah." I said.
How dare you
I ignored the void.
"Relax. Don't let it affect you. It might help or even turn the void off!" he said cheerfully. I sighed again. That would be so good. I relaxed, letting all my emotions out, ignoring the matter of fact that there was going to be a mission in a few hours and all of my life's worries. It felt good to do so. The voice stopped finally.
"Thank's Mirage." I said.
"I prefer Elliot. Since we're friends." he said. I smiled.
"Okay Elliot." I said.
"Stay safe," he said. I nodded.
Wraith, please report to the launchpad
That was the announcer. I sighed.
"Gotta go." I said.
"Bye. Just in case you don't return." he said. He leaned over and kissed my cheek. I blushed.
"Don't jinx it okay?" I said, holding his hands in mine. He nodded.
"I'll come if you need to," he said, "keep in touch." He placed down a piece of paper. On it was a set of numbers. A phone or texting number. I thought that it would be considered a symbol of love if someone had another's phone number or texting number so I didn't ask for his. I nodded. He smiled. I ran towards the rocket pad, which was not too far from Mirage's room. I heard someone running after me. I turned around, not stopping. It was Mirage.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Get some food." he said. He was probably faking. I turned around and accelerated towards the pad. I jumped into a golf cart-ish
vehicle and started the engine. In a few moments, I was at the launch pad. It wasn't such a big vehicle. Small for a rocket. It's body was about the size of a 737 fuselage. I walked into an elevator, bringing me to the top of the rocket. A side door swung open as a group of maintenance people came out. They motioned for me to enter. Before I went into the rocket, I looked back. I saw someone going into a jet. It had to be an interstellar jet. No normal commercial or private jet could go into space. Probably some delivery guy. I went into the rocket, locking the door. I went over to the cockpit and swung myself into the seat.
Takeoff in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
The plane shook and started to ascend. I turned on the void.
FINALLY GOD
I shuddered. Too loud.
Entering the vortex in 5 seconds
I waited for 5 seconds. The view ahead of me turned into light, literally all white. In a few seconds, the world was coloured again. There was a ship next to mine. Was it the same ship that was next to the rocket? I was very confused. Maybe it was Elliot.
Duh. It's him. Stupid. He's going to die.
Let's dock with him. I flew the rocket over to the ship. The ship docked with mine.
"Put the rocket on autopilot. Fly for the moon." I said.
Of course
I jumped from the cockpit and went to the docking bay. I went into the hallway and waited for the door to open.
Left wall. Hit it.
I hit the wall. A wingman popped out. I took it and backed into a wall so that whoever was coming couldn't see me but I could see them.
Shhhhh
The door opened.
It's Elliot. I knew it.
I sighed. I walked out. It was Elliot. He smiled.
"Hello." he said. I rolled my eyes.
"Oh. Look who it is." I said, frowning.
Yes. Frown. Frown him to death.
"I was just trying to come and help." he said, the smile leaving his face. I felt really bad for him.
"Thanks Elliot." I said. I tugged him into the ship and closed the airlock. I kissed him on the cheek.
"So... know what to do?" he asked me. I sighed.
A delivery perhaps
Maybe it was a delivery.
"No." I said, "Maybe we have to deliver something to the moon."
"Yeah. Let's check the cargo bay." Mirage said. When we opened the cargo bay, we saw something. A portal. Not that exciting for me.
Did you see that?
Someone had just gone into the portal. They had somehow sneaked through the security, into the rocket. Under my nose.
