☆Jake's Pov☆
Today I woke up to my alarm clock ringing for my school alarm. I went to get up.
I couldn't find my phone last night. Even though I checked everywhere. I tried to get up to look for it again.
Then I realized Hailey was right next to me.
"Oh jeez! When did this happen!?"
I tried my best to get up without waking her, but I still did.
Hailey woke up and met my face. She rubbed her eyes before looking at me.
"Why are you sleeping with me?" She asked groggily.
"I don't know... Why are you in my house?" I respond.
"You let me stay here... So why are sleeping with me?" She asked once more.
"It was a while before I went to bed, I really don't know..." I respond.
"Alright, get off of me... There's school..." Hailey chuckled a bit.
"Oh. Right..."
We get dressed and I made breakfast.
"Eggs? Wow, you're fancy, Jake..." Hailey teased.
"It's all I know how to make..." I respond, handing her a plate.
"I'm not complaining..." She sighs, eating it up.
"Well... Thanks then... Next time, you can make breakfast..." I reply.
"I can't really make anything either..." She responds.
"Oh?"
"Yeah... If my parents are home, we get actual food... But if not, we have cereal..."
"What are you talking about, the most famous celebrities have cereal!" I laughed.
"Name one." She smugly asked.
"Me!" I boasted.
Hailey rolls her eyes.
"You? Famous? Yeah right..." She says to me.
"You're in denial..."
"Yeah sure..."
We finish and walk out the door.
"You sure it was okay that you stayed over?" I asked Hailey.
"Yep... I could just tell them I was at a friend's house, which technically wouldn't be lying." She smugly replies.
"Alright... But it's not my fault if you get in trouble."
"I'll probably won't get in trouble... But if Zander finds out, we're BOTH in big trouble." She laughs.
"Oh no..."
"Relax, Zander will probably only break you arm..." She sarcastically says.
"Stop scaring me!" I yelled, with a hint of laughter.
We get to the front school gate.
Zander was waiting for us too.
"Hailey?"
"Zander?"
"Where were you? And why are you with Jake?" He questioned, looking us up and down.
"Um... Well, I was staying at a friend's house... And Jake lived nearby..." She says.
"Jake is this true?" Zander asked.
"Yep! Yes, definitely!" I lie.
He continues to stare at us.
"Well... Come on then..." He says, hurrying us up.
We get to class and start the lesson
<Tyler's Pov>
Oh boy... That stupid, stupid Jake...
He has Hailey in a trance, all flawless and confused.
He managed to convince her to spend the night...
Spend the night!
Not that I was stalking them or anything...
Either way... I warned him that I was going to take action... Yet he didn't listen...
So... I stole his phone, I wasn't bad at the whole picket-pocket thing.
And he wasn't very smart for leaving it in his back pocket either...
Turns out he did have social media... Yet I don't know any dirt on any of the members.
So I went to a little social bee who did.
Because I'm so smart!
Hehehehe.
We met behind some bushes during class.
"Hey there, Zoey... I need your help..." I tell her. She continues to curl her hair around her finger.
"Why should I help you?" She scoffed, sticking out her tongue.
"Because, I heard you're mad at both Jake and Milly... This could help with some revenge as well..." I smugly respond.
"O-oh... Okay, I'm listening..." She tells me.
"I need secrets... On all the music club members, dig around a bit and come to me, alright?" I ask.
"Sure... I have one already though..." She says.
"You know Millicent? She has a crush on the boy who roams this garden!" She laughs.
"Wha-? You mean Elliott...?" I ask.
"Mhm... Weird, huh?"
"Yeah... Weird... Anyways... If there is any more, please meet me here."
She nods. "Alright, but only if you tell me why you want to..." She scoffed.
"Don't be so annoying, I just want some dirt on Jake... So I could ruin his life, so he doesn't steal the girl I like..."
"That... Doesn't sound very nice..." She murmers.
"If you don't help me, I'll tell Drew, you boyfriend... That you are cheating on him."
"That's... That's even more blackmail!" She screams.
"Well, get me what I want!" I grumble.
She sighs. "Alright..."
"Also, do you know Hailey's social media?"
She looks at me confused.
"No? I could find it out though..." She shrugged.
"Alright, sweet... Thank you, Zoey."
"Whatever...Stupid idiot..."
"No seriously... Thank you kindly."
"Alright! Go away! This is the second time I'm being blackmailed, and I don't like it!" She complained.
"Alright you spoiled brat! I'm five seconds away from telling Drew!"
She quickly goes silent.
"Sheesh..." I grumble, wlaking away. I also run into Elliott.
"Hey... Elliott... You didn't hear anything, okay?" I say, walking past.
He looks at Zoey and me in total confusion.
"Okay?"
"Yeah... You heard nothing..." I say, walking away.
Get ready for this one, Jake.
◇Zander's Pov◇
Despicable... Turns out that nerd doesn't even like music!
Tyler, I mean...
Mark my word, no one is hurting my stepsister... EVER!
Nor are they dating her...
So now I'm even more suspicious of Tyler, he can get out of my face for all I care as well.
"You sure he said something like that?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, he told me he had this whole plan built up too..." Jake says.
"What a jerk..." I grumble.
Luke looks really disappointed. "I really thought he was a cool guy...
"We didn't..." I laugh sarcastically
"Yes, we can sense stupid people." Jake laughed.
"Yeah, like right now." I laugh, looking over at Jake.
"Ouch."
"Well... That really sucks..." Luke sighed.
"Yeah, anyways...Zander... Have you seen my phone?" Jake asked.
"No...? Why? Did you lose it?" I ask.
"Yeah... I can't find it anywhere and I'm getting worried..."
"Knowing you, it's probably in your locker." I chuckled.
"No! Seriously! I checked my locker, it's not there..." He murmurs.
"I'll tell you if we find it..." I reply.
"Alright, sweet..."
We all head to Practice.
"Hey, where is Tyler?" Milly asked, looking around.
"Forget him... If he's gonna be late, then leave him." I reply.
We all practice for a while till Tyler comes in.
"Oh, there you are, where were you?" Hailey asked.
"Nowhere... Sorry... Just caught up with-"
He looks at Jake.
"-Stuff."
"Yeah yeah, let's just keep going..." I say.
We wrap it up and finish.
"Great work everyone..." Hailey called.
"Sean, you going?" Jake asked.
"No... I like to clean, I'll just stay..." He stays, holding his broom tightly.
"Oh, ok..." Jake murmered turning away and out the door.
"Sean? Why don't you like to go home right away?" I ask.
"Uh... Well, I-"
"You're okay, right?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, I'm good... Someone has to clean the room anyways..." He shrugged.
"Okay, if there's anything... Don't be afraid to talk to us..." Hailey said, patting his back.
"Yeah, thanks Hailey." He responds.
"Luke, I'm going home, you coming?" I ask him.
"Yep, coming!" He responds, chasing after me.
We walk towards home. Then we hit our regular fork in the road.
"I'll see you later, Luke..." I say, waving.
"See you later, Zander!" He calls back.
I keep walking until I see Tyler. I kinda just watch him for a bit.
Until Zoey comes up.
She murmurs something to him while he nods and takes out his phone, it kinda looks like Jake's phone.
Maybe they have the same phonecase, I don't know...
Jeez, what a nerd.
