"Mum and Dad will meet us this weekend since they're still in Jeju right now and I don't want to tell them about Jamie over the phone. Knowing mom, She'll panic and overact" Jennie glanced at chaeyoung who's now sitting in the passenger seat of her car
"Okay" chaeyoung smiled "We can have lunch together with my family"
"Sure! I'm so excited to meet her" jennie announced "Put on your seatbelt, Rosie" as she started to drive
The blonde obliged. She always forget this everytime she rides a car "She's excited too. She's been dreaming about this"
"How about we'll have lunch together after we file her registration? I want to know more about her" Jennie swiftly looked at chaeyoung and faced the road again
"It's fine with me. So you can prepare of what's coming to you as well" Chaeyoung replied smiling while looking out the window visualizing what would be Jennie and Jamie's interaction with each other
"What time they'll arrive here? I can prepare a car to fetch them, or maybe we can do it together? but I don't know yet, Maybe she'll be overwhelmed seeing me" I'm fucking nervous. Jennie asked obviously worried
"Uhm, thank you for the offer but I'll handle that and you're right, I need to give her some heads up first"
"Okay...Okay..." Jennie nods while gripping on the steering wheel
Chaeyoung reached for her shoulder and tapped lightly
"Calm down, Jen. She'll love you, no scratch that, She already loves you so don't worry" Rosie encouraged sensing that the CEO is worried
and just by that, Jennie felt relief in chaeyoung's touch.

Both of them spent the day together. Talking about Jamie, Their parents, Co-Parenting, and they even already semi-planned her birthday. Chaeyoung can't believe how Jennie felt so excited. She really thought that the CEO will get mad and demand about their daughter. But no, Jennie accepted it smoothly and went emotional about it. The only thing that they weren't able to talk about was their own personal stories. Did they date? Are they exclusive with someone? Is the thing between them already settled? Nonetheless, the important thing for them right now is Jamie.
"So... This day has been great. Thank you for visiting me and for the greatest news I ever had" Jennie started. It's already quarter to 8 when she brought chaeyoung home.
Chaeyoung, standing outside her parent's house,smiled "Yeah. Thank you as well, for being cool with this..."
"Are you kidding me? This is amazing! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be in her life despite of all the things happened before" the CEO said sincerely
"You deserve to be in her life, Jen. You're her mother too"
"I— I still can't believe it but I'll try my best to be a good mom to her" Jennie smiled
"So...I'll text you the details later on what will be the plan...I need to check on Lisa's first on their whereabouts. Jamie often to get sick when she travels"
"Ah, yes, Motion sickness. I think she got it from me" Jennie thought about it
"Here, type in your contact number" Rosie handed the brunette her phone
"Oh, right" as Jennie typed it in and saved it as Baby Mama and smiled right after
"Really?" Chaeyoung asked,amused
"What? That's what they call it"Jennie laughed shortly "I— can you send me that photo?"
"What photo?"
"That photo in your home screen" as Jennie saw the photo. It's a selfie of Rosie and Jamie doing cute faces
"Oh, okay..." Chaeyoung agreed, thinking why that specific photo when she can just ask one of those Jamie's photo she showed earlier
"So...I better head home now. Thank you,again, for this day" as Jennie pointed her car at the back. God, it feels like their college years again
"Yeah, Be careful...driving" chaeyoung replied
"Thanks!" Jennie sported one last gummy smile before running into the driver's side
Chaeyoung leaned waved a little when the CEO's car started to move. Jennie glanced at her one last time and winked.
Did she just winked at me? Chaeyoung thought

Chaeyoung entered her room and shoot Jennie a text before having a half-bath and changing into more comfortable clothes

Hey, It's Rosie. Text me when you get home
attached to it was her and Jamie's photo that her ex-wife requested
She went out of her room and head to their kitchen where her parents just finished their dinner
"How was your day?" Claire asked
"It was fine. She accepted the news well though I thought she would get mad or something. She cried and extremely excited meeting our daughter" as chaeyoung sat down beside her dad and poured herself a tea
"Well, that was good. We won't have any problem dealing with Jamjam's paper's in court" Mason added
"Mason, you need to stop calling our grandaughter that" Claire commented
"What? It's cute and I'm a cool grandpa. Damn, I miss my Jamjam" Mason shook his head while Claire just made an unbelievable-face in front of her husband
Chaeyoung smiled at the interaction of her parents. She's glad that they're always there supporting and helping her with Jamie especially when she gave birth and they flew over Australia and stayed there for a year to help chaeyoung. It was chaotic but she would never replace those time ever.
"How about you and Jennie? Did you settle your issues?" Claire asked again
"I— about that, we never get the chance to talk about us. It was all about Jamie and we both understood each other that it's all in the past"
"Alright. As long as you're both civil when Jamie's around" Mrs.Park added
"So... What's your plan about this now? Co-parenting and stuff? Are you still going back to Melbourne?" her dad asked
"That's the thing, I don't know yet. I'll see what happens this vacation, Like, we already settled a life there and Jamie barely speaks Korean so I don't know If she can adapt in the culture and environment" Chaeyoung answered
"That's right chaeng, Think about Jamie's well-being first and after you figured it out, everything will fall into place. Especially that Jennie's in the picture now" her mother adviced
"and...knowing Richard, if he'll found out that he has a grandaughter, He will probably assign bodyguards for her 24/7" her father added
"You think they'll get Jamie from me?"
"We don't know Chaeng, but they're one of the richest family in Asia and Jennie may be cool with it but her parents? We don't know. Jamie will be the next in line to inherit their wealth. They're gonna protect her at all cost just like how they protect their daughter" Mason answered
"but don't worry, We'll be here and the Kims has been good to us ever since so let's give them the benefit of the doubt"
"Thank you Mum, and Dad...for always being there for us"
"Of course, We're family and that's what family do"
Chaeyoung stood up and hugged her parents before kissing them goodnight. She went back to her room and checked if the brunette had already texted her or what.

Jennie smiled all throughout her drive thinking about what happened earlier. Rosie is back, and not only that, they have a daughter! A freaking beautiful daughter. She's nervous and excited at the same time about meeting her, like, will her daughter like her? How will she gonna react when they meet? Damn, she really need to figure things out right now. She's been preoccupied of what's happening that day that she forgot about her company, well, Jisoo is there to handle it so they can survive a day without her. Having Rosie back made her think of what she had been for the past years. Yes, she's guilty about the change of attitude and everything but after seeing her ex-wife, she can't help it but feel comfortable with herself again. She felt like home. A feeling she's been longing for the longest time now and she never thought that the person that made her change will also be the person that will bring her back home.
She thought of what chaeyoung had said about her getting mad about it, She's kinda sad but she can't do anything about it now,can she? The important thing is, She has a family to take care of now and she'll do everything in her power not to let them slip-off her hands again. She stopped at the curve right next to the building she lives and fished out her phone from her bag. She saw chaeyoung's text and smiled at the content. She still cares. or maybe not, Rosie's like this to all of her friends. She saved the photo attached and set it as her wallpaper. She can't help but stare at it for a long time,smiling, watching Rosie and Jamie's lovely smiles.
The CEO quickly typed a text and sent in to a certain someone and manuevered her car driving back away from her building.
"I'm sorry if this was sudden. I just can't wait for tomorrow" Jennie announced as she got out of her car
"It's okay Ms.Kim, Here's the key and it's completely maintained everyday since it was done and there are also guards on duty so feel free to move in any moment" the agent in suit handed her the keys
"Thank you, John and you can go home now, I can handle myself"
"Thank you, Ms.Kim" as the agent went back to his car and left
The house lit up and the guards went over to accompany Jennie. Jennie's eyes roamed around the place and thought that this is what Rodie would like. Yeah, They talked about it, Before. This was supposed to be her gift to her wife on their second wedding anniversary thinking they would've have a child that time then but things happened and yes, she even stopped the construction after that but a year of meditating and thinking, She resumed the operations for the sole reason that maybe, if rosie will come back, she can give this to her even if they won't be together anymore since she promised back then that she'll give her the home that she wanted. The CEO thanked the accuracy of her instincts in finishing this house for Chaeyoung and Jamie. They might not live together but at least her family would have a place to live everytime they're here since she was not sure yet if the blonde plans on staying in Seoul or not. Sure, she can visit Jamie anytime but It'll be much easier if they're here so she can watch over them and spend more time.
And that idea went into her mind. She needs to convince Rosie in staying here. She would do everything, this time, to not let Rosie get out of her sight anymore. She may despised Chaeyoung in those hard times but she can't deny to herself that she never stopped loving her. She'll always have that part in her heart where no one can ever replace. They might be divorced now but that won't stop her showing chaeyoung how she still means to her.
She spent a good thirty minutes wandering the house checking all the rooms and facilities. It was designed for them, really, a home office for the both of them and art room for chaeyoung and even a nursery that she thought it would be nice to turn it into Jamie's playing area since there were still rooms available. The only thing is, she won't be living with them here. But she's fine with it, as long as her family lives comfortably, she won't mind staying in her old place. Alone.
The only thing that she still need to do is let chaeyoung buy all the furnitures in it since her ex-wife is more professional on that side. She smiled at the thought of Jamie running around and enjoying the pool and every corner of the house when they move in. She can't wait for it to happen but for now, she needs to get back home first since she's meeting her daughter for dinner tomorrow.

It's almost ten in the evening when she came back to her place, only to hear gunfires inside. It's late and why the fuck is she still here? Jennnie thought, she already know who's the person inside so she went straight to the living room and slap a pillow to the person playing in her PlayStation.
"The fuck,Jennie Kim?!" Jisoo growled when she wasn't aware of the CEO coming through still playing
"What are you doing here? and this time? and playing my COD?" Jennie sounded annoyed as she went through her kitchen to get some water. She's tired and she just want to rest already
"To gossip? and I was already here two hours ago and also, You've been playing rank without me?! I decided to play to let you lose and my competitive ass didn't agree so here I am, pulling you up" as Jisoo tried to explain
"There's nothing to gossip about"
"Oh, you know you need to thank me first because if it weren't because of me, Your wife and you would've never met this morning" Jisoo smirked
"Yeah, I can thank you for that" Jennie again smiled. She can't help it, she feels giddy everytime she remembers Jamie
"Oh Shit, are you smiling?!" Jisoo asked amused and placed down the controller
"Huh? No??" Jennie tried to deny and heard a notification from her phone

"Now that's a fucking smile!" Jisoo commented watching Jennie focused on her phone "So tell what happened"
Jennie sat down with Jisoo "I have a daughter"
"You what? You know jen, you can just tell me you guys had make-up sex, no need to speak it metaphorical"
"No, we didn't had sex. It's true! We have a daughter. Remember the stories that I told you? The IVF processed worked and now, I found out that I'm a mother"
"I— I don't know what to say, Jendeuk. First, she showed up out of nowhere and then she told you, you guys had a daughter?"
"Uhuh"
"What made you think It's true? That it was really your child?" Jisoo asked, not trying to sound doubtful but she needs to look out for her friend too
"Rosie would never lie to me just like that, and here, look at her" Jennie shoved her phone to her best friend
"Woaw, Oh shit, This is definitely your child, Jendeuk!" as Jisoo looked through her phone, still shocked about the resemblance of the kid and the CEO
"I know,right? Geez, I'm so excited to see her" Jennie slumped her back while she looked at the ceiling
"You're not mad?"
"About what?" Jennie looked at her
"At chaeyoung? Hiding your daughter for so long and just showing up now?"
"I'm sad, I admit. I should have been there for her, you know? If I just got more patient and never stopped following her, we would have been a family. Maybe I still have my family with me"
"Look on the brighter side, Jendeuk. You still have them. I mean, You have them now. Chaeyoung definitely had her reasons telling you this and maybe it'll be a new start for you"
"I hope so"
"You know, I never saw you smile this big in our whole friendship years so I know this is good. You're definitely having yourself back"
"I— I just can't help it chu, I thought I could get over her. But damn it, I only saw her again today and my heart and brain could not even function properly"

After some more talk with Jisoo about Jamie and her plans for daughter, Jisoo went home almost midnight already, Well, she lives under Jennie's penthouse so it's basically a stairs away from her own crib. Also, Jennie did left her company in Jisoo's care for the mean time that she was not there especially tomorrow where she'll finally meet her daughter. She went to her room and quickly freshened up to hit the bed since she needed a good rest for tomorrow. She can't help but smile looking at her homescreen while lying in bed. It felt so surreal but she may or may not pinched herself earlier to check if she's just really dreaming or not.
Jennie fell asleep with a smile on her face for the first time without crying or even alcohol present.
