When you woke up, you woke up to a cold chill down your spine that burned. You were not like the others but even your limited sense was going off like a siren. Your head throbbed and you instinctively went to lift your hand to your temple. But you couldn't as you were restrained. You looked down to see your hands in chains, strung up between two trees. You swallowed. What happened? You looked around. You weren't in NCT territory nor WayV, that much you could determine but where?
Why were you like this?
You felt yourself burn as if a thousand eyes were searing into your skin. Despite your headache, you twisted your head this way and that trying to determine the source.
"You are...so cute...."
You jerked when you felt a hot breath next to your ear. You craned your head away and backward to try to see who it was.
A young man with green hair grinned at you. But his eyes. His white eyes were practically empty but for the small dark dot that was supposed to be a pupil. He cracked his neck to the side before moving deftly under your arm to be in front of you. He was wearing some kind of yellow suit that was cut in such a manner to show his stomach. His legs were encased in black leather.
You finally worked up the courage to ask, "Who are you?"
He clapped his hands showing his black nail polish as he threw over his shoulder. "Hyung, isn't she so cute!!"
You breathed as your eyes tried to find who he was talking to. However you suddenly had hands cupping your face, "So cute!"
You jerked your face back but he seemed unperturbed at the gesture. You gave your best glare.
"She is pretty cute."
You jerked your head up to see five other men walking towards you. They seemed to appear out of nowhere. One minute they weren't there and the next they were. The one that spoke had white hair, dressed in black leather. He had the same empty white eyes that were highlighted by...and you couldn't tell if it was a line drawn across his face or a piece of jewelry.
The one with white hair continued to speak, lifting his fencing sword to this shoulder with a lazy smirk, "I could be satisfied with this."
You remembered now, however blurry. It was them that came in the night and stole you away from your Dreamies. You weren't sure how long you were out but the memory of that night washed over you. It had been an ordinary night filled with it's usual antics before everyone retired to bed.
But then suddenly, you were woken out of your sleep quite forcibly. Your eyes shifted to the man still admiring you. You remembered him most of all as his face was the one you saw. You kept a knife under your pillow and your first instinct was the slash at him. He only grinned and easily dogged. You rolled out of bed to the other side, knife in hand and both Johnny and Ten's voice ringing in your head. You didn't ask questions only to throw the knife at him and reach for another. There were a total of six knives hidden in various places in your room.
But by the time you turned the tall man with a maniacal grin was in front of you. You tried to stab him but he only caught your wrist. Then you heard the scream of one of your Dreamies.
Focus! Never lose focus. No matter what. If someone you love is dying and bleeding, panicking will not help. You have to eliminate the threat before helping them. Anything less will get both of you in further trouble.
Johnny's voice stabilized you and you pushed the thought out of your head although as you began to hear breaking and slamming. Your other hand was free so you swung at him and he darted back. You took that opportunity to roundhouse kick him. At some point you manage to fight him to the door. You realized then that he was toying with you. He could have taken you out at any time. Despite this you turned and ran out the door, down the hallway yelling your Dreamie's names.
You only remember hearing Jeno's calling your name before suddenly you were hit from behind. How you weren't sure but then everything went black.....
You shifted your eyes to the man in front of you, "Who are you?"
"You can call me Kai Oppa."
He had to be kidding and you glared, "What did you do to my Dreamies?"
"Oh, you mean those guys?"
You looked up to see a man's whose red hair was put up in such a way that reminded you of a pair of horns. He grinned at you, "They were a bit of a challenge but no matter."
You swallowed, "What did you do to them?"
A man dressed in yellow with a red diamond over the left eye answered drolly, "They aren't here. Does that help?"
You bared your teeth at them, "What do you want?! Why am I here??"
"Because of obsession." the white haired answered. His eyes raked over you, "Maybe I'll develop one of you."
Kai pouted, "Baekhyun-Hyung...."
Baekhyun only grinned, "Well, she is cute."
"Release me!" you snapped.
Kai shook his head, "I don't want to. It was a lot to get you. Those boys put up a fight until the end."
"If it wasn't for my powers of invisibility, so to speak, it would have been hard to break into the terrority", the pink haired said.
"You're lucky, Kai-ah, that we were able to shake off those that were trying to find us before.", the one dressed in a red suit and hair styled in a wave eyed the man in front of you.
You swallowed and asked more to yourself, "Wait...were you the ones watching that day?"
Kai grinned, "I saw you and I just had to have you no matter the stakes."
He reached out to touch you and despite sitting you kicked your leg at him. You snatched your leg back when he just caught it. "I'm not yours.", you growled eyes narrowing.
"But you will be."
Your breath caught at the crazy look in Kai's in his white eyes.
"This might be the most fun we've had in decades!" the red-haired demon laughed.
"You all are crazy", you murmured. Tears pricked at your eyes with the reality of your predicament crashing down on you but you refused to be any more vulnerable with them than you already were.
Baekhyun shook a finger at you, "No, we aren't crazy. We are obsessed."
"Same thing then", you shot back.
The red-haired demon crossed the distance and reached out, grabbing your head.
"Suho-Hyung, don't break her!" Kai pleaded.
Suho didn't pay any attention as he gazed down at you with a small smirk on his face, "It's easy to tell that you aren't completely human and you were with those vampires and werewolves. So perhaps you'll understand when we say, we have cultivated Yin energy."
You shuddered once and that didn't escape Suho's piercing gaze, "Ahh, so you have heard of it."
You didn't confirm nor deny. He quickly released you and grabbed your chin. He came so close that you did the first instinctive thing. You pulled your lips inwards into your mouth. Such an action made Suho throw his head back with a laugh.
Kai giggled.
Suho wagged his eyebrows, "No worries. That may come later."
Kai pouted with a whine, "Hyuunnng!"
Suho shrugged, "What! I didn't say that I wouldn't give you the honor of going first since it's clear your obsession is stronger....." Then he turned and looked at you, "....For now...."
You were sickened by these demons. That was what they were to you. Absolute demons. Talking about you as if you were nothing more than a doll. But then the way they all looked at you, as if looking through you, told you that they didn't see you. But then again how were you to know what they saw when they looked out of their white eyes?
They only saw obsession.
And you were her for the moment.
You swallowed as your nightmare was only beginning.
