Sungyeol's pov
Just when Heeryung warmly welcomed us to her home, a middle aged man, who I assume is her dad, walked downstairs smiling while Minhyuk tailed him. He looked at us saying "Welcome home boys." to which we quickly bowed at him replying "Kamsahamnida Ajhussi." and flashed him a humble smile. He nodded at us mirroring our smile and then looked at Minhyuk who halted beside him asking "Minhyuk-ah, will you be able to help them settle in?"
Minhyuk flumped onto the couch whining "Ajhussi, ask Heeryung to do that. I'm so tired already." Heeryung chuckled looking at him and said "Appa, let him rest a bit. I'll help them settle." Her dad nodded at her and looked at Minhyuk smiling as he said "My boy, you can rest in your room if you want to." before he walked away.
Minhyuk looked at Heeryung saying "Ryungie-yah, help oppa to my feet." extending his hand towards her direction. She rolled her eyes chuckling and pulled him up commenting "I really can't believe that you're a police officer at times like this, oppa."
He chuckled at her and snaked his hand around her neck dragging her towards the direction of the flight of stairs while she pushed him away grunting and looked at us saying "I'm sorry about that. Come along I'll show you the rooms." and climbed up the stairs behind Minhyuk.
Following her lead, the members grabbed their luggages and walked up the steps one by one while I looked up at Minhyuk, who was whistling as he walked and thought 'Ah! Damn you Kang Minhyuk. I'm so envious of you again. And I hate to admit the fact that you're always making me uncomfortable, whenever you're around her. Even if it's like a big brother as you say.'
I heaved out a shallow breath to empty my mind from these irrational thoughts and grabbed my luggage following my members upstairs. Showing us the rooms, she said "Since there are only three unoccupied rooms, one among you oppas might have to share the room with Minhyuk oppa. As to who that is, I'll leave it upto you."
She turned her head to her right, to face Minhyuk and asked "Oppa, you're fine with that right?" to which he nodded shrugging and grabbed the handle of the door near him. He walked in after saying "Ryungie-yah, I'm gonna have a nap. Come wake me up when the lunch is ready."
She scoffed a laugh looking at the closed door mumbling "A slothful oppa indeed." She then looked at us saying "So, you all have some rest too. I'll come inform you when the lunch is ready." and left us by ourselves.
Myungsoo's pov
Sungyeol and I decided to share a room while the other hyungs settled to share other two unoccupied rooms and Sungjong was fine to share the room with Minhyuk. Entering the room we both shared, I unpacked my luggage while Sungyeol laid on the bed just staring at the ceiling, shaking his legs with furrowed eyebrows.
I patted his shaking legs asking "Yah! What are thinking of, not even unpacking? It's so unlike you, Yeol." He sighed and answered "It's nothing. Just this and that." as he sat up. I shook my head dismayed by his wierd behaviors, showing up again after so many days, a month exactly. I heaved out a loud sigh and asked him "Seriously Yeol, what's wrong with you again?" the most budging question in me.
He began unpacking his luggage questioning me back "What are you talking about suddenly? Can't you see that I'm fine and nothing is wrong with me Myungsoo?" pretending to be a clueless child. I scoffed at him and asked "Who are you trying to fool ha? You think your faltering smiles and shallow breaths recently went unnoticed? Well I don't know about other members, but not me, Sungyeol."
I noticed how his eyebrows knitted together while his lips were pressed in a firm thin line as he busied himself in unpacking his almost empty luggage appearing fully focused. I smirked at his silence and questioned again "The past month, during our practice you were being your old self. But now those shallow breaths are back. What's bothering you seriously?"
Just when he was about to say something, a knock on our door was heard, successfully interrupting his say. I rolled my eyes at him when he rushed to open the door literally ignoring my presence and saw Sungjong walking in, past Sungyeol saying "Minhyuk-ssi is having a nap and I didn't want to be a bratty rat there, so I came here hyung." I just nodded at him and glanced at Sungyeol thinking 'You're so damn lucky now, Yeol. But I'll definitely find out, about what it is, that you're trying hard to keep it to yourself.'
Few minutes passed by and another knock on the door was heard followed by Heeryung's voice saying "Chogiyo. The lunch is ready." I quickly stood up and sprinted my way to the door before I swiftly opened it, revealing a perplexed Heeryung.
I chuckled at her expression while she cleared her throat and said "Myungsoo oppa, you can go down and have your lunch now. Others are already down there." while Sungyeol and Sungjong appeared beside me.
I nodded at her and stepped out of the room while she knocked on Minhyuk's room repeating the same line she just spoke. We three stood waiting for him to come out, so we can together go join others in the lunch.
Heeryung sighed and mumbled "Is he a heavy sleeper or what?" before she attempted to knock on the door again but instead her knuckles knocked on Minhyuk's forehead, who happened to open the door at the exact same time, making him whince in pain.
I chuckled looking at him when he complained "Gosh! That hurts. Heeryung-ah what grudge do you hold on me?" to which she smirked and informed "Bap mokcha oppa." monotonously as she began walking down the stairs while we followed her. We joined others at the dining table for lunch and had a tasty delicious meal prepared by her mom.
Heeryung's pov
As we had our tasty meal prepared by my mom, my dad asked "So where are the places you have decided to visit in Jeju now?" looking at the Infinite members. Dongwoo instantly replied "To be honest, we didn't decide on any particular places yet, ajhussi." as he grabbed the lettuce leaf with his chopsticks. I looked at him surprised asking "Ye? Are you serious oppa?" to which he genuinely nodded chewing his food.
I chuckled asking them "Like which set of idols would go to a trip without even planning the places to visit? Not even a mere citizen would do that, oppa." Sunggyu answered shrugging "Well it was not our idea to begin with. Just yesterday after the long late night practice, were we informed about this so called 'Healing Trip' by our daeppunim." Sungjong chimed in "We hardly had any time to pack our luggages, Heeryung-ah." and heaved out a shallow sigh.
Hoya nodded chewing his food and added "I doubt if it's really a Healing Trip. Instead it should be named as a Rushed and Frustration Creating Trip." making everyone burst out laugh at his statement. My mom chuckled and asked "So you really don't have any plans in your mind?"
The Infinite members nodded except Sungyeol who sipped his spoonful of stew and answered "Aniyo. We decided to visit Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, Manjanggul Lava Tube and Gimnyeong Maze Park Ajhumma." that created a pin drop silence at dinning table as everyone looked at him slightly puzzled while Dongwoo questioned him "When was that decided?" his words so unsure, as if he was a person who was back to conscious after being comatosed for decades.
Sungyeol glanced at him replying "Just now I decided it, hyung." and smiled his prince charming smile. The other members sighed out loud complaining while Minhyuk oppa, eomma and appa chuckled while I laughed hard unable to control myself.
My mom shook her head commenting "Cheonjeyeon Waterfall is surely a place for a healing trip Sungyeol-ah." Sungyeol smiled at my mom and she continued "Day after tomorrow, is your birthday right? Have your soul recharged connecting with the nature's beauty well. Arraso?" that made him freeze in his actions of reaching his bowl of rice after sipping another spoonful stew, as he looked at my mom eyes widened and then glanced at me from the corner of his eyes.
While I was seated there speechless with my wide big eyes slowly blinking once, with the exposed unknown fact that she actually knew Sungyeol's birthday. And then the second thing struck my brain, that it was ME, who told her about this every single year on 27th August.
Like I get hyper excited just from the night of 26th and to the whole day of 27th, busy streaming the hastags decided by other Inspirits. Now and then informing her how fans out there spend money to publish ads of their idols, and that when I earn money, I would do that too.
To which I get the same repetitive dialogue as "I swear to gods Heeryung-ah, anyone who doesn't know about your obsessive bias obsession on Sungyeol, would think its your birthday today." from my mom. But honestly she's wrong about this one thing, coz I swear, I've never felt this excited even in my birthdays after I stanned Infinite.
Finally the third, important fact hit me that she actually, nearly exposed who my bias was, that made my eyes widen even more. I felt as if something about me, that I somehow wanted to keep it to myself was exposed, making me literally feel embarrassed and wierdly shy.
I took a sneaky glance at Sungyeol, to make sure if he was still clueless about my little secret and much to my relief, he was, as he listened to Sunggyu speak "But what's with that Gimnyeong Maze Park? Are you a kid? We aren't going there." He pouted whining "Hyung, jebal. Can't you grant this as my birthday wish?" that made the leader with no option but to accept his plan.
