this story was quite heavily re-written. as a result, there may be some comments that just don't make sense in the current chapter.
to those who have read this before, i've already included a little summary of the "biggest changes". but of course, feel free to read through it again! there are some parts where i included details that seem minor, but will be a big deal later on.
