TJ POV:
'Did you father do anything after we left?' Reed asked, gently caressing Lester's hair over a bruise he'd gained from my dad. Sorry, I meant the twat.
'No, he knows to shut up so I don't spill anything to mom...but you know I don't do that for his sake,' I explained, 'You ok Less?'
Lester raised a thumbs up but was still hazy from the encounter with solid wood to the head.
I became a little worried, 'Shooould we take him to a hospital or something?'
Reed rolled his eyes, 'Hospitals ask too many questions, besides, when I broke my leg from banging a girl in a tree house midway- did I go to the hospital? No. Should I have gone to the hospital?
'Yes-'
'No, why? Because I would have either had to tell them the embarrassing truth or come up with a lame story,'
'Ok, and can you walk normally on that leg now? Or is that why you limp slightly?'
Reed scratched his head, 'That's besides the point-'
'That's exactly the point!' I whispered aggressively.
'Shhhhgh!' Lester shushed us, 'Too loud! why are you shouting?'
I raised my eyebrows- pointing at my friend who was probably about to pass out at any given moment due to his clear concussion, 'Point proven,'
'How was criminal camp?' Reed changed the topic, cuddling Lester close to his chest so he could probably smell his shampoo...I wonder where it's from.
'Not too bad, thankfully some of them are in the same boat as me- they've done pretty low rate crime. There's a group that have actually...you know...probably murdered someone- but they aren't all like that though,' I explained, 'I wasn't actually hanging out with any of them yesterday though, I was screaming at the park,'
'I'm glad it's not as bad as you thought...maybe it'll be fun?' Reed suggested but then shook his head, 'Well, maybe fun's a strong word,'
'Mmm it's bearable,'
'So...you're coming to my end of year bash right?'
I sighed, running a nervous hand through my hair, 'I dunno Reed.....I'm not sure another party is a good idea for me,'
'You were having an off day- you didn't do anything that terrible!'
My eyes widened, 'I literally confessed to the entire room about...well you get it. That's so embarrassing I'm literally terrified to go back to school. Metcalf will already know and will force me into school counselling so I'll have that on top of Art Club and This criminal thing-'
'TJ?'
'What?'
'I love you,'
I froze, staring at him. My mind blank, '...what-'
'Aha! It worked!' He clapped his hands, 'You stopped panicking,'
I shook my head, 'You're crazy,'
'And the best best friend you've ever had!' He reminded me, 'But seriously, people probably took it with a pinch of salt because you were drunk- won't be broadcast. Not like the time I leaked my own nudes,'
I cringed, 'Yeah that was not a fun thing to open my phone to- to be honest,'
'Hey, don't body shame me!'
'I'm not I just didn't ask for it!'
'You're saying you wouldn't thruple with me and Less?'
'Why the hell would I?! And you mean quartle,'
'I don't know! I'm offended now!'
'Why?!'
'I don't know!'
Cyrus POV:
After seeing Chris the other day...I've decided not to have any hope with me and TJ. It's not like he likes me again anyway, I don't expect him to after how I ended things. But then again, I didn't know what I knew now.
I wish I did. Then maybe we'd still be together.
However, he's with Chris now, who's making him happy and TJ makes him happy. They're happy.
I need to focus on myself anyway, me and my friends.

I slipped my phone into my pocket and entered The Spoon where I was supposed to pick up some taters and hamburgers to bring them home to my mother and step-dad. I got through the door, told the waitress my order to go and waited at the bar bit for it to be ready. I took a quick glance at the other customers to see if I knew anyone- not that I expected to- but I did.
Sat in the furthest booth away I spotted Jonah laughing his head of at something (not a rare occurrence). I was about to go over there when I realised he was not alone, someone was sat beside him. I craned my neck to get a good look and almost fell off my chair- not just because I had unbalanced myself but because of who it was.
Walker?
Prepared to go over there again, I actually stood up this down until I saw something odd again.
Walker bumped his shoulder on Jonah's, Jonah did it back as they both laugh sweetly (kinda made me wanna barf) then, to my ultimate surprise, Walker put his hand on Jonah's until suddenly they were holding hands.
Stunned, I didn't even notice the waitress had been offering me bag of food for goodness knows how long. Snapping back into it, I accepted the bag, thanked her and left the diner feeling very confused, shocked but most of all...proud?
Walker obviously found him attractive and Jonah? Well god knows what he identifies as, not that it's any of my business, but I wouldn't have been that brave early on to be in public acting that way. Good on him.
I was so busy in thought about this discovered relationship that I wasn't looking where I was going and almost knocked right into someone.
Luckily, the person put their hands on my waist and spun me round to get my attention and prevent the collide. I dropped my food when I jumped from the sudden intimacy.
It was Chris.
He bent down to pick it up, thankfully it was in a bag so nothing was spilled, 'Woah, Cyrus! Gotta look out there,'
'Oh...I'm really sorry,' I fretted, taking the food from him, 'I'm such an idiot,'
'Hey, come on don't sweat it. At least it was just me right?'
'Yeah,'
Chris brushes away a curl, 'Anyways, how you holding up? Given that skirt a wirl?'
I laughed nervously, 'Actually yes I have, it was very nice. Thanks for giving it to me,'
'No problem, I actually just dropped off a load of more clothes at the thrift store, needed to clean out,' He explained, 'After this I was planning to pick up some party supplies for a few days time. What do you think I should get?'
'Ummm...I dunno. Alcohol?' I mumbled.
Chris chuckled, 'God, you make me laugh. Also this is going to have most of your year so I'm not sure we should get any of that. But knowing Reed I'm sure he's already got some,'
'Right, Reed with the weed,' I laughed.
'He takes too much pride in that,' Chris nodded, 'I better go get the not alcohol,'
'Ok, see you at the party,'
'See ya!'
I got home and me and my parents ate dinner together whilst watching fire saga: Eurovision. After that I showered and went to bed, staring at the ceiling before picking up my phone and doing what I wanted before I could regret it.
cyrus.g_man: Hey
I stared at the screen, already considering deleting it when three dots appeared on the other side. Oh shit-
tj_kipp: Hi
I wasn't sure what I was going to say after the initial but I better think of it fast.
cyrus.g_man: How are you?
tj_kipp: Ok, you?
cyrus.g_man: Fine...just had food from The Spoon so :)
tj_kipp: What'd you have?
cyrus.g_man: Hamburger and baby taters, with milkshake
tj_kipp: Of course
cyrus.g_man: How's photography?
tj_kipp: It's fine, Miss Pillar says I've really improved since our project so that's boosted my ego a bit too much haha
cyrus.g_man: Oh yeah? You should take some pictures of the party, then I can see you in action
tj_kipp: I'll have to take my camera then!
tj_kipp: Gotta go But I'll see u at the party?
cyrus.g_man: Ok, yep see you then :)
