Y/n was heading over to Charlie's house after receiving a voice mail that sounded kinda urgent; once he finally got there he allowed himself in and saw his cousin sitting on the couch not even facing him with the sound of crying coming from him.
Y/n:(walking towards him) You know; after Weiss kicked me out so she can have a girls night, I was planning on heading over to the bar for old time sakes but now I find myself here, so what do you want?
Charlie slowly turned around; y/n could see the horror in his cousin's face as the twins, Rey and Yuki were crying loudly.
Charlie: please help.... they won't stop...
Y/n:(sighs) and here I thought, I'll have a break of being a parent; here let me see.
He grabs Rey from Charlie and sits down across from him.
Y/n: now. now; there's no need to cry.
His nephew starts to cry even louder.
Y/n: Okay; how long have they been like this?!
Charlie: When did Weiss kick you out?
Y/n: like an hour ago...
Charlie: there's your answer...
Y/n:(eyes widen) oh...shit....
Charlie: they're never like this, so why now?
Y/n:(hands Rey back) Ummm their missing yang?
Charlie: But they were with her the whole day; besides they kinda like me more.
Y/n:(deadpan) I think them crying nonstop says otherwise.
Charlie: what can we do?
Y/n: We?
Charlie: y/n...
Y/n:(slowly back aways) I mean I kinda dealt with this already even though mine wasn't as bad.... but still I didn't complain.
Charlie: Come on don't be like that.
Yuki cry's louder which made both half hybrids flinch.
Y/n: every parent goes through this at least once.
Charlie: But as you already know; we're both aren't normal parents! Besides you had Weiss there to help you and right now yang isn't home so can you least be a kind cousin and help me out here!?
Y/n: but... but... fine; but you owe me.
Charlie: Whatever, just help!
With the girls.
Team Rwby were all in Weiss living room to have their little girls night.
Weiss: we're finally able to get together again, just us.
Blake: Got say it's actually kinda quiet and peaceful without the guys around.
Ruby: what are they even doing?
Yang: beats me; but if I have to guess...y/n is out drinking, Jaune is well Jaune no knows what comes across his mind. Sun is doing something reckless and Charlie is home resting.
Weiss: That's sounds accurate; but I don't think y/n is out drinking, he hardly even drinks now.
Blake: why not? He has a repetition of being a really heavy drinker.
Weiss: well he kinda stopped after Chloe was born.
Ruby: wait are you sure-
Weiss: YES I'm sure it's the real y/n this time! Thank you for reminding me.
Ruby:(chuckles nervously) sorry...
Weiss: when I asked him why; he just replied with "it's for her".
Yang: so he's doing it for little Chloe, how sweet. Speaking of which, how's she doing?
Weiss: she's doing well; she's upstairs sleeping.
Blake: Now we're on this topic; where are you sending your kids to school?
Yang: I don't know I was planning on seeing what you girls had in mind.
Blake: I want Brian to be around people he already knows. He's a lot like Sun so at least he'll have people there to somewhat keep him in check.
Weiss: Don't worry we'll make sure that they'll be around each other; Chloe is already showing that she's kinda shy, so just like you I want her to feel comfortable wherever she's at.
Yang: (laughs) you hear that sis? If you want to join our little club you're going to have to hurry up!
Ruby: (blush) CAN EVERYONE STOP TELLING ME THAT EVERY TIME THEY SEE ME!?
Yang laughs hysterically
Weiss:(giggles) yang, stop teasing her.
Ruby: yeah! Besides I'm only 21 going onto 22!
Yang: Well Blake was 22 when she had Brian and Weiss barely turned 22 when she got pregnant with Chloe.
Ruby: just don't worry about it!! What about you, huh?! How're the twins!?
Yang: oh they are doing just fine, right now they're with Charlie.
Weiss: They're with Charlie? Are you sure he's going to be okay taking care of both of them?
Yang: oh yeah; he got that cover.
Back with y/n and Charlie.
Charlie: y/n are you sure this is a good idea?
Y/n: well; My dad said he once saw my mother did this to me before.
Charlie:(raise an eyebrow) Are you sure that he wasn't on something?
Y/n:(realize) I... don't know... but (throws duct tape and super glue behind him) I think I did it!
They both looked up and saw the twins in a baby carrier that was tape and glue onto a fan that was going very slowly, somehow this made the twins stop crying as they started to giggle.
Charlie:(concern) have you done this before?
Y/n:(scratch his head) nope! Weiss never allowed me too.
Charlie: And you sure that it's going to hold up?
Y/n: of course, super glue and duct tape never fail! That's why they have been around for millions of years!
Charlie:(sighs) You're right.
Allow himself to fall onto the couch
Charlie: I can finally take a—-
They both started to hear whimpering.
Charlie:(eyes widen) nooooo...
Y/n:(grabs the tape off the floor) should I tape their mouths?
The twins begin to cry once more.
Y/n: I was planning on having a screaming match against them but the lungs they have jeez.
Charlie:(sits up and sigh) can you get them down from there?
Y/n: you sure? Maybe if I crank the speed up on the fan maybe-
Charlie; as much as I want to listen to your nonsense, I'm more worried about my kids.
Y/n: you're no fun.
After getting the babies down from the fan; y/n and Charlie were standing in front of them trying to come up with a plan.
Charlie: They're still crying! What do you have in mind?
Y/n: well half of my ideas are considered illegal
And the other half won't work...
The door opens behind them.
Jaune and sun:(walks in) reinforcements are here!
Oscar:(sighs) I can't believe we're all here...
Y/n: you called them?
Charlie: I was up for 30 hours before taking care of these two, I need all the help I can get.
Jaune:(places 3 bags onto the countertop) We brought music... movies... new toys and food.
Sun: (pats Charlie in the shoulder)Don't worry, now that we're here they'll stop crying in no time.
Y/n: I feel like it's going to be the opposite...
Oscar: look they're just babies, how long have you guys been trying to calm them down?
Both cousins stared at each other, then back at their friends.
Y/n: for about 3 hours...
Charlie: it's really not healthy.....
Oscar:(eyes widen) are you sure they're okay?
Y/n: oh their 100%; is that they won't stop crying!!
Sun: enough stalling we have a mission to complete!
Jaune: right, now how are we going to get them to stop crying?
Y/n:(to Charlie) hey look at that, we're back to square one.
Charlie just sighs from frustration.
With Weiss
She was currently cleaning up after her friends recently left leaving some mess around. Once she got the living room clean again she sat down on the couch and started to read, but after getting half way down with a chapter she started to hear strange noises coming from outside, she just ignored it going back to her book but she heard it again this time louder. She checked the security Camera and saw 3 guys trying to get into the house, her eyes widened as she quickly grabbed her scroll and ran up to her daughter's room locking the door. She heard the door from downstairs open as footsteps begin to sound across the house.
Weiss: No dammit!, I forgot my weapon in my room, but if I leave now I'll put myself and Chloe at risk. I need to call y/n.
She quietly searches for her husband in the call log once finding it she calls him.
With y/n.
His scroll began to ring, unfortunately, it was on a table as the sound was being drowned out by twins crying.
Jaune:(stressed out)is this how every baby is like!?
Y/n:(carrying Yuki) No, but for some reason (points at Charlie) they are more of a devil then I am.
Charlie: K, I shouldn't be blamed for this!
Oscar:(holding Rey) you are the father though...
Charlie:(glares) what's that supposed to mean.
The door opened allowing Sun to come in with a carton of milk.
Sun: I got what you ask for!
Y/n: no you idiot! It's not that type of milk.
Sun: what's the difference?
Y/n:(concern) how are you a parent?
Sun:(nervously) Blake kinda does all the work...
Y/n: and here I thought I'll be a shit father...
Oscar: maybe if we could get the twin's attention it could get them to stop crying.
Charlie: with what?
Oscar: maybe show them something new, like a toy.
Y/n: I have an idea.
He released his wings; both of the twins instantly stopped crying and looked at their uncle, they started to giggle while clapping. Everyone there sighs in relief.
With Weiss
The call went into voice mail.
Weiss: no, no, no please y/n answer...
She tries again but once more fails.
Weiss: dammit what's he doing!?
She could hear voices coming from the hallway on the second floor where she is.
Robber1: it seems No one is here.
Robber2: perfect, now get whatever you can take, these People are loaded!.
Robber: and remember if someone is here kill them.
Weiss:(scared) I can't do anything... please y/n get my messages.
The robbers started to make a ruckus, Weiss was still trying to get into contact with someone but then heard Chloe whimpering most likely from the noises coming from outside the room, She quickly rushed over to her daughter's side.
Weiss:(quietly) its okay mommy is here.... don't cry, please...
This didn't stop Chloe since the noise was getting louder and louder as the baby had enough and began to cry. Weiss panics trying to come her down.
Robber1: hey you heard that?
Robber3: yeah it's coming from over there.
Weiss could hear 3 sets of footsteps coming closer to the room.
Weiss: please Chloe stops crying.
The robber stops in front of the door, one of them started to turn the knob but couldn't since it was locked.
Robber2: it's locked that means someone is in here!
Robber1: hey boss like at these photo, doesn't that person look like a Schnee?
Robber3: now that you mention it, yeah. No wonder... boys you know what this means; caroled break it down.
The robber known as caroled started punching the door trying to take it down; inside Weiss was scared as she was holding Chloe trying to calm her down.
With y/n.
Everyone looked at the twins fast asleep.
Sun:(setting on a Chair) I can't believe we got them to stop...
Oscar: I never want to go through this again...
Jaune:(on the couch) agree with you on that one!
Everyone:(quietly) SHHHHH!
Jaune: sorry.....
Y/n:(looks at the twins) I rather be torture in hell then be here for another minute...
Charlie:(laying on the floor) thank you again...
Y/n: you fucking owe us drinks.
He walked over to his scroll and saw multiple voice mail and missed calls from Weiss.
Y/n: what's going on?
With Weiss.
She was in the corner of the room holding Chloe who was still crying, caroled, finally punched a hole through the door, he peeked inside and made eye contact with Weiss who started to panic.
Caroled: find you~~
He puts a barrel of a gun through the hole.
Caroled: this is the most difficult part of this job...
Weiss holds Chloe away from the line of fire; she closes her eyes waiting for the bullet to hit her as her daughter starts to cry louder and harder, finally the sound of the gun goes off which makes everything go quiet. Weiss slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was still there alive, she looked down at Chloe who was smiling?
Caroled: what the hell?!
Weiss looked around and was surprised when she saw that she was inside a bubble of light.
Weiss: (confuse) what is this?....Chloe did you...
She looked at Chloe's eyes, one of them was normal while the other one was an amber-like color.
Weiss: her eyes no it can't be! It's too soon!
With y/n
He was trying to call back with no answer, he started to get worried.
Charlie: you okay cousin?
Y/n: yeah; it's that I'm trying to call back Weiss and she isn't picking back up.
Charlie: Well it's late you should go back home.
Y/n: right—-
Suddenly they both gasped when they felt a massive amount of power coming from somewhere.
Y/n: the hell was that!
Charlie: I don't know, it's different from anything we felt before(eyes widen) wait don't you think-
Y/n:(realize) No....No NO! CHLOE!
The robbers were still trying to get into Chloe's room, one of them stop since they saw something that caught their attention, he walks over to the window trying to see what it was but before he could a hand breaks through grabbing him by the face-pulling him outside, his group could hear him screaming before it instantly stops.
Caroled:(scared)what... What just happened..?
Robber2:(scared) I... I don't know...
They looked at the broken window and saw a figure slowly descending down. It was too dark to see the body but the eyes were glowing crimson red. This caused robber2 to panic and tried to run away heading downstairs but he disappeared and all that was left was his screams. Caroled couldn't take it anymore, he tried running the other directions but saw the figure standing in front of him, he tried going the other way but the figure grabbed him by his hair and slammed him onto the floor.
Y/n: what made you think this was a good idea?!
Caroled: I'm sorry man I'm sorry! I didn't want to do any harm!
Y/n: really? I saw what your group tried to do!
Caroled: I swear! It was an accident!
Y/n: accident!? Bullshit! because you, my wife, and my little girl in that room are terrified.
Puts more pressure on his skull.
Caroled: please I didn't want to do anything bad! let me go and I'll never think of robbing again just don't kill me!!!
Y/n:(sighs) hmm, alright fine but you have to promise.
Caroled:(shocked) what really?
Y/n grew a evil smirk across his face as his eyes flash red before turning into a darker shade of red.
Y/n: well at least that's something pasted me would have said...
Caroled: wait— RAHHHH
Caroled was quickly disintegrated into ashes, y/n kicked all of the ashes out of the window, he looked at his hands.
Y/n: its been a while since..... Weiss!!
He quickly enters the room and rushes over to his wife.
Y/n: are you okay! They did do anything to you!
Weiss: no but check Chloe, please!
Y/n grabs Chloe who was asleep.
Y/n: I'm not sense anything...
Weiss: no that can't be I saw her eyes, she protected me.
Y/n: I'm not sensing anything celestial wise... what color were her eyes?
Weiss: they were like amber.
Y/n: then no, it's just disappeared...she no longer has her powers...
Weiss: how do you know?
Y/n: her powers are more base on her angle side that's why her eyes aren't red like mine; so there would be no way of hiding it.
Weiss: so her power is just gone?
Y/n: yeah...
Weiss: but she saved me with a shield of light.
Y/n:(looks down) I know... I'm so... so sorry that it took me a long time... I was busy helping Charlie ... and I couldn't be here to protect you! And our daughter! If it wasn't for Chloe then I wouldn't have gotten here in time. I'm such a-
Weiss:(puts a hand on his cheek) no, you're not!! I can't blame you for what happened, all that matters is that now you're here and you did protect us, so please don't be down on yourself...
Y/n: Weiss.... thank you...
Weiss: you can thank me by holding me for the rest of the night with our daughter cause in reality(a teardrop from her cheek) I was scared for our life's ...
Y/n couldn't help but chuckle; he gave Chloe back to Weiss before hugging both of them reassuring that everything is okay and that now he'll make sure that this will never happen again.
