Aarav's POV

I wore my suit and got ready to attend my best friend's reception party. I was in utter shock when I got to know that he got married to the girl who was going to get married to his brother. When he told me that he started to fall in love with her, I was stunned. I am very happy for him.

I looked at the clock and realised that I was late. I quickly came out of my house and sat in my car. I started driving towards the venue and soon reached the venue.

I went in and saw Vihaan and Ansh talking with each other. I greeted and hugged both of them. We are school buddies and we are meeting after a really long time as we were busy with our careers.

"I thought we all will meet at your wedding but Rajveer surprised us marrying before you." Vihaan said in a surprised tone.

"You knew anything about his marriage? Why did he got married so suddenly?" Ansh asked me.

"It was a sudden marriage. Rajveer became the groom as Rahul ran away on his wedding day. Rajveer's family asked him to take Rahul's place and marry Naina." I said them in low tone.

"He must be really sad as he married her because of his family." Vihaan said.

"On the contrary, He must be on cloud nine. It was love at first sight. He felt in love with her the moment he saw her." I said.

Soon Rajveer and Naina came inside the hall, hand in hand. Everyone started cheering for them. They went on the stage. They were looking really adorable together. We three went on the stage and congratulated both of them.

We were chatting about our school days. An old lady approached us and was looking at me from top to bottom.

"Are you married beta(son)?" she asked me.

"No aunty." I said.

"You are really good looking and well settled. You belong to a good family. Would you mind meeting my friend's daughter? She is a really talented girl and extremely gorgeous. You both will make a perfect pair." She said and I almost choked on my drink.

"Sorry aunty. I am already engaged and going to get married next month." I told her and showed her my engagement ring. Vihaan and Ansh were giving me teasing look. I will teach you both a lesson for teasing me.

"But aunty they both are single and are doctors by profession. They both are well settled." I said to her. She diverted her gaze on them. She was talking with both of them. I excused them. They both were glaring me. Tit for Tat buddy. Indian aunties definitely need to find a good job that could keep them busy rather than doing match making. Does something like this happens at every Indian function? My god! It is horrible.

Ruhi had planned a surprise for both of them but I needed to leave early. I met Rajveer again and explained him the reason of my early departure and left for home.

I had an early flight to catch tomorrow. I reached my house and changed my clothes. I packed my bag. I went to sleep after setting the alarm for tomorrow.

I woke up and quickly got ready. I soon reached the airport and saw my secretary waiting there for me. We both boarded the plane. Soon we reached Chandigarh. I hope that the property is worth it as I had planned my entire day just for it. We went to the hotel and rested for few hours.

We went to see the site. It was located in the city center. The location was pretty perfect. It was a big property. I hope the property is not divide between the family members and belong to a single individual. It easier to agree with one person's conditions rather than dealing with multiple.

"Sir did you like this land?" Aman asked me. I simply nodded at him

"This is the perfect piece of land that I was looking for. I want to start the work really soon." I said to Aman.

"When can the registration of this land can be done?" Aman asked the broker.

"Sir they are ready to sell this land but the land to be registered on their name will take some time." He said.

"What the hell! What do you mean? You called me here to tell me all this nonsense. The person who promised to sell this land doesn't even have this land registered on his/her name. Are you mad? Do you know how much of my time has been wasted?" I roared in anger.

"Sorry sir but that person said that the property will soon be on his name. He said that it would be done within a week." He said.

"You should have called me when the deal could have been made. Do you think I have time to waste? I left all my work and came here just to see the land." I yelled at him

"Aman you should have inquired properly." I said and left the place in frustration. I was really pissed off

I got the call from my fiancé. I am really not in the mood to talk with her right now. I am soon going to have an arranged marriage with her next month but we don't feel anything special for each other. We both agreed to it for our family's happiness. My phone was continuously ringing. I picked it up getting frustrated.

"Hello! Aarav I just called you to say thanks to you. I would have never been able to participate in this competition if you wouldn't have convinced my parents. Thank you. Thank you so much." She said.

"No need to thank me. I did what I felt right at that moment." I said.

"But still thanks to you, they agreed only because you asked them. They would have never allowed me to go to Mumbai as we are getting married in a month." She said. My mood turned sour listening about our marriage. I am seriously not in the mood to talk about that.

"When is your competition going to start?" I asked her diverting the topic.

"It will start from Monday." She said in a cheerful tone. She seems really excited about the competition. I hope she wins the competition.

"If any problem comes contact Aahan. He will help you. Did you meet him?" I said.

"Yes. I met Aahan yesterday only." She said.

"I will talk to you later. Bye." I said. I didn't know how to further continue our conversation. Even she wasn't speaking anything. It was getting awkward so I ended the call.

We both were good friends but when our parents put forth our marriage talk everything just got awkward. We both don't love anyone else so we agreed to get married to each other. Rajveer has been extremely lucky to get married to the girl whom he loves. Talking about love, I always ended up encountering gold digger girls who only care about money nothing else. My soon to be wife is at least not like them. Maybe we will fall in love with each other after our marriage.

I cancelled all my today's meeting for this stupid deal. My entire day got wasted because of that stupid broker. I don't wish to waste the rest of my day. So, I started exploring the city. I was driving my car on the street. Thankfully the weather was really pleasant. I was driving where the road was heading. I soon realized that I came very far from the city.

Suddenly somebody came in front of my car. I was extremely shocked. I applied the break quickly but still the person dashed with my car. All these events were so sudden that I couldn't see the person's face. I hope he/she did not get hurt.

I came out and saw that it was a girl. She was wearing a pink color bridal lehenga. Her eyes were still shut. She was looking really gorgeous in her bridal dress. I guess she ran away from her wedding. I was not able to take my eyes off her. She slowly opened her eyes. She was still looking scared.

"Are you all right? Did you get injured anywhere?" I asked her. She was panting and looking around. It seems like somebody was chasing her.

"I am fine. Can you drop me to the bus station? Please." She pleaded and I agreed. We sat in the car and I started driving. She was continuously trying to call somebody but that person did not answer her calls.

"Dammit pick up the call." She said in frustration. Is she calling her lover? She looked like a goddess and I was looking at her from time to time. What the hell am I thinking? For God sake Aarav, you are getting married next month.

I wanted to talk with her and know about her but she was not in the state to talk right now. She must really love that man a lot to gather this much courage to run away from her wedding without caring about anybody. I was getting really jealous of that man whom she loved so much. Lucky man..................
