Chapter 48

Seven Months Later

Sachi's POV

I entered inside the orphanage and everyone was surprise to see. They all came running towards me and gulf me in a group hug.

"Di we missed you. Why didn't you come to meet us?" 

"Even I missed you all very much."

"Di where is jiju?"

"He had some important work so he had to go abroad."

They pulled me inside and I was about to sit when I heard a baby crying. I moved towards the direction of the sound. 

I saw the caretaker struggling to calm a baby. I rushed towards her and she was surprised to see me. I took the baby from her arms and tried to calm him. Within a minute he was quite but instead of smiling and giggling like a cute baby he had a grumpy face. I was shocked to see his grumpy face. The baby seemed like a mini version of Aarav. 

"Boy or girl?" I asked the caretaker.

"Boy."

"Why does this cute little baby has made this grumpy face?" I said in a childish tone. He looked at me as if carefully listening to my words. I kissed him on his check and he gave me a bright smile.

"Such a cutie." I said and he started giggling. I started playing with him. He bonded with me so well. 

Doll came to call me as everyone was waiting for me outside. I gave the baby back to the caretaker. I was about to move out he again started crying. Just now he was all smiling why did he started crying again. I went and took him back and he instantly stopped crying. I was shocked.

"Looks like he doesn't want you to leave him."

"Now I am sure you are exactly like Aarav even he doesn't like when I ignore him and give my attention to some one else." I said and the baby started giggling as if agreeing with my words. I took him outside. I sat with everyone. 

Suddenly I got a call from Aarav. I picked it up.

"Hi Sachi. I miss you."

"Aarav its not even been a day. Did you reach safely?"

"I did. I know its not been even a day but I am already missing you. I don't how will I manage for so many days."

"Even I miss you. Don't over exaggerate its just a matter of a week." I said and the baby started pulling my hand as if trying to get my attention. I smiled seeing him struggling to get my attention.

"I know. Where are you right now?"

"I am at the orphanage."

"Put the phone on speaker I will talk with everyone." I put the phone on speaker and gave it to doll. Everyone got busy talking with him and I looked at the baby. He again made a grumpy face. 

"Is my baby angry with me?" I said and he made a sound. Even this baby is showing tantrums to me. Poor me.

"Ok I am sorry." I said and he giggled. 

"You are not like Aarav. You are more smart than him because he can never make me say sorry." I said and he again giggled. 

Doll came and gave me my phone.

"Bye Mrs Oberoi and take care."

"Bye Mr Oberoi. You also take care."

After few minutes he fell asleep. I got up with him and took him inside. 

 "When was this baby brought in the orphanage?" I asked the caretaker.

"A few days back. His parents died in an accident and luckily he was saved." I was sad hearing that this baby lost his parents at such a young age.
