Jungkook flinches in his sleep, rolling over onto his side. What was this? Had he eaten too much? He didn't feel good, something was bothering him and it was ruining his nap.
"Y/N isn't back yet?" Namjoon points out, confused.
"She probably had to go a long way," Hoseoks suggests, licking the flavor off his fingers. "Anyways it's not like anything's going to happen. You don't get random fires or animals attacks here."
"You're right," Namjoon laughs, and they both grin at each other at how ridiculously safe they were here. What was there to worry about? After an environment like ARMY, Earth felt like a piece of cake.
"What about people though?" the woman mumbles under her breath, a little concerned for you. The others didn't seem to be aware of the fact that people wandering the streets late in the evening were dangerous too. In fact, they didn't seem to think that there was anyone else on the planet except for themselves. Even she, herself, was often invisible to them. They hadn't even asked her name.
She turns to the seven lounging men, feeling a little uncomfortable herself. She wasn't sure why she was here anymore and the more she lingered here, the more inhuman they felt. The more concerned she felt not just for herself but for everybody.
"I'm going to make a phone call," she announces, reaching into her jeans to pull out her phone. Hoseok glances at the brand silently, mouth forming into an impressed 'o'.
"Woah, did you see that?"
"See what?" Taehyung asks, lazily.
"Her phone. It had three cameras on the back. Wow, technology really has developed while we were gone, hasn't it?"
"Of course," Namjoon nods, yawning. "We're probably way outdated. In fact, it'll take us years to catch up to this age."
"Argh," Jungkook groans, making a face as he rolls himself up even more. They turn to him, curiously.
"What's with him?"
"He probably ate too much," Yoongi mumbles, slowly dosing off himself. He felt the need to stay awake as the second oldest one of the group but there nothing was happening. Everything was serene, quiet and too comfortable for him not to snooze. Jimin had already joined the other two on the ground and he wanted to be next. Despite them being literally on the streets, not one of them seemed to care for the fact as long as they were together.
"Jungkook..." Jungkook mumbles is own name, subconsciously. "Jungkook.........Jungkook....Y/N...mhh...'
Hoseok, Namjoon, Yoongi and Taehyung chuckle, pressing their hands against their mouths to avoid being heard. Yoongi's smirks, rubbing his forehead.
"He's having dreams about her again, isn't he?"
"Remember how mad she got last time?" Hoseok can't help but show his smile. He had half the mind to shake Jungkook awake and to ruin his beautiful dream but he loved the kid too much to do so.
"I wonder what he dreamt about that made her get that angry," Yoongi smirks wider, indicating that he wasn't just wondering but that he knew.
"They probably have a whole thing going on inside their heads that none of us know about," Hoseok says. "You know sometimes how they're so quiet but you just know that they're talking and it- AH OMG THE FUCK YOU SCARED ME."
Everyone jumps at Hoseok's scream. Beside Jin, Jimin jerks awake, clutching himself, as if prepared to run. He looks around the room, eyes wide.
"What? What?"
Everyone gulps at Jungkook was sitting up now, staring into the space in front of him. He looked petrified, like a statue, staring into a void as if processing something. No, in fact, he looked completely haunted or as if he was seeing a ghost. In the rising dusk it gave an extremely eerie vibe and Hoseok inches away from him, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
Something was off. Something was completely off.
"Hy-hyung..."Jungkook rasps, as the sleep washes over him and he finds his tongue again. He looked like a soldier back from war, experiencing war flashbacks and in some way he could. He could hear crying, begging, desperate pleas echoing inside his head and it was you, he knew it was you. It could only be you. You were...
"Y/n...Y/N?" He says more urgently, starting to shout now. He's almost at his feet, breathing fast. The others were also getting concerned. It was obvious that he was talking to you because he was awake now but the look on his face scared them. What had happened to you? What did Jungkook know?
"What's going on Kook?" Namjoon demands.
"Y/N...it's Y/N. Sh-she's been kidnapped."
"What?"
Namjoon leaps to his feet, knowing he hadn't heard it wrong while the others stare at Jungkook like he was crazy.
"Kidnapped? What do you mean? How?"
"Where is she?"
"Hyung," Jungkook turns to Namjoon with tears coming to his own eyes. "Sh-she's so scared, she's probably all alone. I don't know what's happening, it's dark she's trapped. Someone took her.. someone too-"
Taehyung's wings flare open at once but Jimin stops him. Taehyung wrenches his arm off of him but Jimin only grabs it again urgently as Taehyung reaches for the sky.
"You can't," Jimin argues before turning to the rest of the group. "He's going to be seen."
"What are we going to do then?"
"We're going to find her," Namjoon decides at once. The guilt was killing him. He hated himself more than anyone at the moment. To think of how easily he let you wander off into this foreign environment, how he brushed off the fact that your tardiness was nothing serious, that you could possibly not be okay. He, as your brother, should have noticed first, should have made this decision long ago.
Despite the physical power, the intelligence he never seemed to able to protect you.
"How?" Hoseok asks, curiously as Namjoon moves towards Jin. Everyone's on their feet now, Taehyung, Yoongi and Jungkook having run ahead already to look down the street. Yoongi bends to the ground, as if to trace the direction you went in where Jungkook hopes to reach you further through his mind.
Namjoon doesn't answer Hoseok. Instead he just grabs Jin- who was still unconscious - and flips him onto his back like a rucksack. He lies limply on Namjoon's shoulders as the younger one runs to catch up with the ones ahead.
Jungkook seemed to have found a solution. He points at a black car parked by the sidewalk, holding the door wide upon urgently calling everyone over.
"Car!! I've found a car! Get in the car quickly!"
Without hesitation everyone scrambles in, Hoseok leaping into the drivers seat and fumbling with the seatbelt. Finding the key in the engine he's starts the car easily, satisfied to see a positive response.
Namjoon slides in shotgun as the four other scramble into the back, sitting on top of each other and oddly cramming the fainted man between them. He closes the door urgently making the entire car shake violently. Before Yoongi has even shut his own door, the wheels screech and the packed car takes off.
"Where do we go? Does she know?" Namjoon interrogated Jungkook at once. Jungkook squeezed himself to the middle to make himself heard.
"I don't know. She said it's all closed off in the back."
"How could this happen?" Jimin demands, ice crawling over his heart. "She must be so scared right now. Oh my god, we didn't even know-"
His words are enough to make Hoseok stamp on the accelerator. The small car grunts under the weight of seven men as it speeds off down the road, dodging anyone that dare stands in its way. Unable to share the seatbelts, those in the back realise the fortune of Namjoon's seat and cling onto each other in hopes of not crashing. Slowing down was not even an option now and even if they begged Hoseok he wasn't likely to tone the dial down even an inch.
Glueing his eyes onto the road, he grips the steering wheel, spinning it about as he drives recklessly. Jimin bumps his head against the window and Taehyung feels an elbow dig into the bump of his back making him scream in pain.
In all the chaos no one seems to care about anything except that you were in danger. You were somewhere, somewhere far but not too far yet and they had to find you. They would.
However, five minutes down the road Yoongi realises something.
"Hey...ain't this Jin hyung's fan's car?"
