Niall's P.O.V.
Scrolling through the options of tv shows to watch, I sighed. Theres nothing good to watch. I would've settled for one of those gossip shows but all they talk about are lies. But sometimes it can be enteratining. Just not when its about me or the lads. All they say is rubbish.
My phone beeped, signaling I got a message. I took out my phone from my pocket and unlocked it. I've never seen this number before. I read the message, a small smile slowly creeping onto my face.

'Hey! I found your website and I really want to learn how to play the guitar. Please help me! :)'
I jumped up. Finally! Someone found the link! I have always wanted to teach someone how to play the guitar. I was hoping the first time I would teach somebody would be my children in the future or a girl I liked.
I instantly texted back. Turns out she is a girl and she wanted to practice at 5 and it was 4 by now. I don't think she knew what time it was which made me chuckle a bit. I agreed with it of course. I put my phone away and went into the kitchen to get a snack.
"Why are you smiling?" Harry asked me.
Wait, Im smiling? I didn't even know that I was smiling. I simply shrugged at him, hoping he would not tease me about it.
"Oh um, someone is coming over for a guitar lesson." I said.
"Its a girl. Isn't it." Louis said, a smile creeping on to his face.
"Yeah" I said looking down. I could feel my face getting redder by the second.
"Have you even met her yet?" Harry asked.
"Nope. Shes coming over at five so behave yourselves." I said.
"No promises." Louis said, smirking.
"Did you tell her who you are?" Harry asked.
"Yeah she knows my name." I said.
"No thats not what I meant. Did you tell her that you are Niall from One Direction?" He asked.
"No..." I said. I instantly felt guilty. She is going to hate me for not telling her before. What was I thinking?
"She is gonna freak out when she finds out." He said.
"Hopefully not." I said grabbing some oreos.
"Wait. Did you talk to Simon or Management about giving guitar lessons? I dont think they'll be okay with it." Liam said, worriedly.
Of course he'll be the one to worry about this. Hes always looking out for us but sometimes it can be a little to much. He needs to loosen up a bit and have some fun.
"Then they don't have to find out, do they?" I said.
He rolled his eyes and simply shook his head at me. I chuckled. I went back to my room and got ready for the lesson. I cleaned up my room a bit so Liz won't think I'm a mess. Once everything was ready I went downstairs and waited for her to come.
It was 4:50 when I heard a banging on the door. Well shes early.
"Let me in please! I'm suppose to have a guitar lesson here! Let me in quickly!" She yelled through the other side of the door.
Why does she want to come in here so quickly? Or maybe she's just really excited to learn how to play the guitar. Or even better, too see me. Ah Niall don't get your hopes up. You haven't even seen the girl yet. I opened the door and I was about to say hello to her but she came quickly inside without looking at me. Well, someones eager to come in. I chuckled and closed the door.
"Thank you so much." She said.
Once she looked at me, her eyes grew wide. She froze. I also froze too. Wow...
"You're Niall?" She said shocked.
"The one and only. And you must be Liz." I said extending my hand for her to shake.
She took it and shaked it, still very shocked.
"Nice to meet you." She said, flustered.
"You too." I said. I gave her a nice smile, but really I was gawking at her.
She is absolutely stunning. Her brown curly hair flowing down her shoulders looked so soft and shiny. She had these lips that looked so pink from all the times she was probably licking them.
She wasn't one of those really skinny girls. She had amazing curves. Her dark brown eyes are staring right into mine. I don't know if I will be concentrated to teach her how to play the guitar, but I'm glad she chose me. Soon enough, the other lads came in.
"Hey, Im Louis" Louis said extending his hand.
Liz took it and Louis dragged her into a hug. She was surprised but hugged back. I felt a pang of jealousy hit me. I shouldn't even be jealous. I just met this girl for gods sake. But I still hoped I would've hugged her instead. I wanted her to be in my arms already. Even if it was just for a split second.
Louis broke the hug and said, "Sorry I'm a hugger."
"I can tell." Lizzie said smirking.
God, she looks so cute doing that.
Harry was next to talk. He didn't exactly say anything at first. He pulled her into a hug first which was strange to me. He then said hello to her and I swear he was tearing up. What is up with him?
The others introduced themselves and they made some small talk with her. Soon after I guided Liz into my room for the lesson. Everyone gave me winks as we walked upstairs. I just rolled my eyes at them. We got into my room and I closed the door.
"Do you know anything about the guitar?" I asked her.
"I know it has six strings. Does that count?" She said chuckling, turning red.
I laughed.
"Yeah that definitely counts." I said, sarcastically.
She laughed too.
"Okay so lets start with something simple." I said.
She nodded and took out her guitar. It wasn't that fancy but I liked it. She even signed it.
"I like your guitar." I said.
"Thanks. My mum gave it to me." she said her smiling growing bigger.
She must love her mum a lot.
"So we are gonna learn the E minor and the C chord." I said.
She nodded.
I grabbed my guitar and put my fingers in the E minor chord. She looked at it and she tried to do it. But she couldn't. I smirked at her.
"Like this." I said putting her fingers the right way.
As cliche as it seems, I felt something that I never felt before when I touched her. It was as if the touch sent a message through out me. It felt strange, but nice.
"Okay so now it should sound like this." I said.
I strummed my guitar and She did the same.
"Good now lets learn the C chord then we could put the two chords together." I said.
She nodded. I showed her how to do the C chord on my guitar. She did it without my help on hers.
"Okay now do the E minor four times and the C chord four times" I said.
She nodded and tried to do it. It took some time for her to change from one chord to another but she got it down quickly.
It was fascinating to see. The concentration she put into it while she looked at her fingers, desperately trying to switch into the next chord quicker. She really wanted to learn how to play this beautiful instrument.
"Great! We are only gonna learn two chords at a time because its easier to learn it that way" I said.
She agreed. We kept practicing those chords until it would be stuck in her head. I've had this idea in my head that I've wanted to try out.
"Okay now for the ultimate test. Try to do it with your eyes closed. If you can then you can get a free snack from the kitchen!" I said.
She laughed and nodded. She closed her eyes and did the E minor chord. She opened her eyes and I said "Great now the C chord." She closed her eyes and did the C chord.
"Ahh! Brilliant! You did it! Now lets go get a snack." I said grabbing her hand.
I felt my face grow hot as I realized that I grabbed her hand like that. Gah im such an idiot. Good thing she can't see how red my face is right now. She laughed and set her guitar down on the bed. I dragged her down to the kitchen.
"Done?" Harry asked.
"Yup." Liz said.
"So what snack do you want?" I asked.
"Do you have oreos?" she asked.
I nodded.
I grabbed the packet of the oreos and set it down on the counter. I opened the packet when Liz spoke.
"Can I have milk with it to? I can't eat Oreos without milk" she said shyly.
"Of course." I said with a smile.
"You can bring those upstairs to my room while I get the milk ready" I said.
She nodded.
She grabbed the Oreos and went up to my room.
"You like her don't you?" Harry said when Liz was out of the room. I shot my head towards him. Is it really that obvious?
"No. I just met her. I can't possibly like her." I said.
"Yeah you do. I can see the way you look at her. And by the looks of it, she likes you too." he said with a wink and a smirk.
"Whatever." I said. I didn't want to get my hopes up by what he just said.
I just met Liz. Could I possibly like her already?
Lizzie's P.O.V.
I walked upstairs into Niall's room. Wow. I never thought he would be my guitar teacher. I mean like, I'm not going to complain about it. But what a coincidence though.
Even though it seems cliche, when ever we touch I get this feeling inside me. Even if we've only met today, it's kinda strange. I dont know why though. I cant be falling for him already.
But seriously, what are the odds that the Niall Horan is my guitar teacher.
But I have to admit, he is pretty attractive. When he smiles and his eyes do the little crinkle thing, it makes my heart beat faster. His laugh is so contagious and it just makes me wanna laugh along with him. Niall in general makes me happy.
Niall was still downstairs so he must be talking to Harry. As long as I was alone, I thought I would sing a bit of my song. But I'm not done with it yet. So far Ive got the first verse and the chorus down.

I wrote this song based on my life. On how much it is basically a living hell with my father. I closed my eyes and started to sing but very softly so no could here me.

Thats when I stopped. It was so quiet in the room that I knew someone was listening to me. I opened my eyes. I was about to sing the chorus when I heard a creak outside of Nialls door. Was he seriously listening the whole time?
"Niall I know your there" I said with more confidence than I thought I had.
He peaked his head inside and smiled sheepishly. He came in with two glasses of milk. He set it down and sat down next to me.
"You have an amazing voice! Why didn't you tell me you could sing?" he said.
"Thanks but I don't really tell people that I sing when I first meet them. I just sing when I am alone. Or when I think I am." I said and elbowed him in the ribbes softly. He turned red and looked down, embarrassed.
"Sorry bout that. Didn't mean to eavesdrop. What is that song called though? I haven't heard it before. " he said.
"Oh..uh...I wrote it. So far I only have the first first and the chorus. I was just about to sing the chorus when I heard you outside" I said.
"Sorry about that again. So you're a song writer too?" he asked.
I nodded. It was weird having somebody so interested in what I did for free time. But it felt nice.
"Whats it called?" he asked.
"Welcome To My Life" I said.
"Sounds cool. So how bout you sing what you have so far?" he asked.
"No no no. I can't sing in front of people. I get to shy." I said.
"Come on. I'm the only one with you in the room. Just close your eyes and imagine you are alone." he said.
"Alright." I sighed.
"Do you want me to start all over or just continue with the chorus?" I asked.
"All over again"
I nodded, sighing. I closed my eyes and started singing.

I opened my eyes and I saw Niall staring at me intently. I couldn't tell what his emotion was. His jaw was dropped a little. He seemed shocked and confused.
I instantly began to worry. Did he not like it? Was it my voice or the song in general? It didn't matter. It made me feel bad that it left him speechless.
"Liz?" Niall asked, "Why were you in such a rush to come over here?"
