i wish we were not so complicated about our emotions
i wish i could tell him, how much he means to me
i wish i could tell him, that i care for him as a best friend
and that i miss him texting me
he is the first friend i made
i miss talking to him
and i don't like being the one to always start a talk
but we complicate our emotions
so, i quietly absorb into the background
taking my place as always
as i watch him grow
