Three months have passed since Alyssa and Dennise have been officially back together again. It wasn't a big news for their friends and family 'cause just like Ella said, sila na lang ata ang hindi nakakaalam na sila na ulit. Lol. So ayun na nga, since three months na sila, Den wants to have dinner with Alyssa sana. Hindi naman ngayon yung exact day na naging sila pero eto kasi yung araw na free siya. Kaso, parang hindi naaalala ni Alyssa na nag-monthsary na sila. Well, its not like Den really remembers it but Ella told her kasi na mag-date naman daw sila so eto na lang yung naisip ni Den na chance for them to do it. Gusto niya sana i-spend yung buong araw with Alyssa kasi minsan na lang nila yun nagagawa. Nagkakaroon na din kasi si Alyssa at Niccolo ng mga guestings at interviews pati nga mga endorsements so hindi na siya nakakatambay sa ospital like she does before. Pabor naman yun kay Den in a way kasi feeling niya nagiging makasalanan siya pag pumupunta dun si Alyssa. Lol.
"Mommy, punta po ako kila Alyssa." Paalam ni Den so mommy niya after niya maligo.
"Sure, anak. You don't need to ask permission. Just go, kahit wag ka na umuwi." Arlene joked.
"Sus. If I know, you'll miss me naman pag di ako umuwi talaga." Den said and hugged her mom from the back who is preparing to go sa shop.
Her mom faced her and they're now fully hugging each other.
"I'm so happy for you, ate." Her mom said. "Nakikita ko na ulit yung real and genuine smiles mo."
"Thank you, mom. Wouldn't have been here of not because of you." Den said. "I love you."
"Love you too, ate." She said and hugged Den tighter. "Oh siya, sige na. Puntahan mo na si Ly at feeling ko tulog pa yun. Ikaw na gumising. Go go!"
"What's new, mom? Its Alyssa." Den said. "Alis po muna ako." She said and left then went kila Ly.
Nakita niya si Tatay Max na nagdidilig ng mga halaman kasama si Kian na nakikipaglaro naman kay Kryp. Both Kian and Kryp have really grown so much.
"Hi, Ate Den!" Kian said as he opens the gate. "Shh, Kryp! Ang landi-landi mo talaga, manang-mana ka sa amo mo!" He said which made Tatay Max and Den laugh. "Pasok, ate."
"Hi, tay!" She said and nagmano sa matanda. "Hello, Kryp!" Den said and he jump on her.
"Oh oh. Tignan mo na. Dinadamba mo si Ate Den. Para ka talagang si ate eh." Kian said.
"Kian?!" Den said.
"Joke lang, ate." Kian said and scratched his nape. "Di ka kasi nag-hi sakin eh." He said.
"Talagang bata ito. Puro kalokohan. Sige na, Den. Pasok ka na sa loob. Asa kwarto pa ata si Ineng eh." Tatay Max said.
"Sige po, tay. Tuloy na po ako sa loob." Den said. "Ikaw ha!" She said and kunwaring piningot si Kian.
When she went in, she saw Alyssa's older brothers in the living room, nanonood ng movie.
"Oh. Hi, doc!" Paulo said. "Aga mo ata."
"Hi, Kuya Pau! Si Ly?" She asked.
"Naku, Den. Doktor ka na't lahat, tulog mantika pa rin yun. Andun pa sa kwarto niya. Puntahan mo na." Nicko answered.
"Pwede?" Den asked.
Paulo and Nicko looked at her, "Since when did you need to ask for permission?" Nicko said. "Sige na. Akyatin mo na. She won't wake up kung walang gigising sa kanya."
"Sige, kuya. Taas na ko ha." Den said and started walking pataas.
"Den!" Nicko called when she's halfway through the hallway. She faced at Nicko with a questioning look. "Wala ng hiwalayan yan, ah?"
Den smiled, "Wala na, kuya. Promise." She said. Nicko nodded at her and Paulo smiled. She continued walking to Ly's room. "Babe?" She said and knocked. Baka sumagot si Alyssa, no? Baka gising na? Lol. She twisted the knob and the door's surprsingly unlocked so she went in. She saw Alyssa na nakadapa sa kama niya at tulog na tulog pa nga. She stared at her girlfriend's sleeping figure for a good 10 minutes before waking her up. "Hey, babe. Wake up na po." She said.
"Hmmm.." Ly groaned.
"Bangon na diyan, aalis tayo. Dali." Den said and pulled Ly's covers but immediately put it back when she saw na Alyssa's only wearing a shirt and her underwear. Its a loose one and that's the only thing covering her body. "G-get up na, babe. Dali na." She said.
"I'm still sleepy.." Ly said and faced the other side.
"Ay, you're being childish again. C'mon, get up na. I'll cook breakfast for you. Faster!" Den said. She pulled Alyssa to get up from bed. Nagpahila naman siya but when Den let her go, she slumped back on the bed. "Aish! Sige na, babe. We only have today for ourselves. Don't you wanna spend it with me?"
"I do." Ly answered with her eyes closed.
"Oh, eh get up na. Tara, dali." Den said.
"But, I'm sleepy pa. Can we just spend the whole day in bed? Magkasama pa rin naman tayo eh." Ly said like a kid.
"Alam mong we'll be more tired if we stay in bed rather than go out and have a date." Den said.
Alyssa faced her with one of her eyes open, "You're learning ha?" She said.
"Pag ganun talagang usapan, mulat agad! Come here and kiss me na. Dami mong ganap, babangon lang eh." Den said.
"What a great morning." Ly said and smiled after she got a kiss from Den. "Aga naman maligo, babe." She said and sniffed Den's hair and buried her face on Den's neck.
"11am na po kaya." Den said. "You're so heavy! Aww." She said and slightly pushed Alyssa away from her.
"San tayo pupunta?" Ly asked habang nagkukusot ng mata.
"Date?" Den said. "I don't know if napansin mo but three months na since naging tayo ulit." Ly's eyes grew wide. Di niya nga naalala. "Its okay if you forgot. Di rin naman yun ngayon. Last week pa. Hehe. Eh busy tayo parehas last week. Today lang tayo free parehas eh. So, I thought na its nice if we spend the whole day with each other? What do you think?"
"Big brain ideas, Dra. Lazaro!" Ly said. She pulled Den closer to her and peppered her with kisses all over her face. "Sundate it is!"
"Okay okay. Maligo ka na so we can leave." Den said.
"Akala ko you'll cook for me?" Ly asked with a pout.
"Ay, you want ba?" Den asked. Ly nodded, still pouting. "Okay, I will. Ligo ka muna tas go sa house, after. Oki?"
"Oki!" Ly said.
Den went home na muna to cook food for Ly. Nagrequest eh. While cooking, she's singing to songs pa at parang ang saya-saya.
"Sana all songerist." Justine said they both laughed. "What's that?"
"Breakfast. Alyssa requested for me to cook eh." Den answered with a smile.
"Naks! Wife material yan?" Jus said.
"Gusto mo na ba madagdagan ng kapatid?" Den asked.
"Matagal naman ng nadagdagan. Pati mga kuya." Jus said, talking about Alyssa's brothers. "Pamangkin gusto ko.." She smirked.
"Negative, Jus." They looked behind and saw Alyssa na bihis na bihis na. Bineso niya si Jus at kiniss sa lips si Den.
"Bakit negative, ate? Ayaw mo ba magka-anak?" Jus asked.
They've all grown old that talking about having babies isn't that awkward anymore. Den even raised an eybrow to Alyssa as if telling her na ayusin ang sagot niya. Lol.
"Not like that. Pero siyempre, we have to get married first before we go to that baby-making part." Ly answered with a chuckle. "Tsaka, you know it will be a long process for us."
Jus slowly nodded her head, "Sabagay. For now, momol-momol lang muna, no?" She said.
"Justine Angelica?!" Den said.
"Why? Ate, I'm 24 years old. What do you expect me to talk about? Barbies and Bratz?" Jus said and chuckled.
"Oo nga naman, babe. Its an...adult thing." Ly said and wiggled her eyebrows kay Den.
"Isa ka pa!" Den said habang naiiling at humarap ulit sa niluluto niya. Natawa na lang sa kanya yung dalawa. "Siguro, may nakaka-momol ka na, no?"
"Na-judge agad ako? Alam lang yung momol, may nakaka-momol agad?" Jus said
"Oo nga! Porket alam yung momol, may nakaka-momol agad?" Mosh said.
"Matthew Joshua?!" Den said.
"What? Its all over social media! Tsaka, its 2020, ate. Ano ka ba." Mosh said as he gets some milk from the ref.
"Kahit na. You don't know what doing that will cause to you. Lalo na pag palagi at kung kani-kanino. Its not medically advised to have momol with anyone." Den said.
"Doctora Den goes off again.." Jus said while shaking her head.
"Babe, kumalma ka nga. Not because Jus and Mosh knows what momol is, means na ginagawa na nila yun. Mosh is right, its all over social media and kahit di mo talaga alam yun, malalaman mo. Tsaka, don't you trust them? Mukha bang makikipag-momol kung kani-kanino yang dalawang yan? Sa arte ng mga yan?" Ly said and kissed Den's cheek. "Kami lang kasi pwede mag-momol, kayo naman eh!"
"Babe!" Saway ni Den sa kanya. Buti na lang wala si Ate Ana at ang mommy nila dito. Sinasama kasi siya ng mommy nila sa shop since malaki naman na sila and they can all take care of themselves. "Kumain na nga lang kayo. Dami niyong alam!" Shes said and nagstart na maghain.
They started eating while still talking about things that Den don't agree about but what can she do? Tatlo sila, mag-isa lang siya.
"San kayo nagmo-momol, Ate Ly?" Jus asked at nasamid si Den.
Ly gave her a glass of water, "That's too personal, Jus." She answered. "But, anywhere will do naman."
"Alyssa!" Den said and binatukan si Alyssa.
"Okay okay. Lets stop talking about momol na." Ly said. "The doctor's mad na." Den glared at her. "Hindi na nga oh." She chuckled.
"What if I tell you guys na I have a girlfriend na?" Mosh said.
"Seriously, Mosh? Stop messing around." Den said.
"You have?" Jus asked.
"Yeah." Mosh answered.
"Sana all." Sabi ni Justine.
"Di nga, Mosh?" Ly asked too.
"Oo nga, ate. I'll bring her here, soon." Mosh answered.
"Mosh, you're too young pa." Den said and sighed.
"Babe? How old are we when we got together?" Ly asked.
"27 and 28, duh." Den answered.
Ly sighed, "The first time? Dude, we we're in freakin' highschool! Late na nga lumandi 'to si Mosh eh. Ngayon lang. Compare mo naman sayo, diba. Its okay, Mosh. Paramihin mo ang mga Lazaro ha!" She said. "Ah, aww! Babe, aray!" Piningot kasi siya ni Den.
"Mga tinuturo mo, ha. Lalaki yan!" Den said.
"I didn't say naman na ngayon na eh. Siyempre sa right time. Tsk." Ly said. "Can we just talk about NBA or PBA? Lets talk about how LA, Kiefer or Thirdy plays. Ako napapahamak dito eh." She said while rubbing her ear. Natawa naman si Mosh at Jus sa kanya.
"Kumain na lang kasi kayo. Kung anu-ano sinasabi niyo eh." Den said.
After that intense breakfast, nagpalit lang si Den ng damit tas umalis na sila.
"San ba tayo pupunta?" Ly asked.
"Where do you want ba?" Den asked back.
"Naks. Libre ata ni doc, ah?" Ly joked. "What if I told you na gusto ko lang sa car tas momol tayo?"
"Edi, makakatipid ako." Den answered.
"Tignan mo 'to, pag kila Jus ayaw tas pag tayo lang, gustong-gusto naman." Ly said.
"Kasi po, that's our thing and they don't need to know about that." Den said and pinched Alyssa's cheek.
Since thet got back together, they've been very clingy and touchy with each other. Guess, that's what the 3-year distance and longing brought to them. Ly was driving while they're listening to the songs she and Niccolo covered.
"Can you change the music? It feels awkward listening to those." Ly said.
"Why? Ang galing niyo nga eh." Den said. "Your songs are my go-to songs every morning sa work." She said and smiled.
"Idol mo talaga ako, eh no?" Ly said.
"More like crush." Sabi naman ni Den which made Alyssa smile. "Luh, kinikilig?" Asar niya.
"Siyempre. Baka Denden Lazaro yan!" Ly said and they both giggled.
Den told Alyssa to drive to MOA and dun nila i-spend yung date nila. They first went to play bowling kasi on the way there, niyayabangan ni Alyssa si Den so they ended up having a bet. If Ly beats Den, they'd go skating and if Den beats Ly, they'd go sa amusement park and sasakay sa mga rides. They both don't wanna do it kasi Den isn't good as skating as in, kada try niya, she falls down. Mas magaling pa sa kanya yung mga bata dun. Si Alyssa naman, she just hate heights.
"Wala naman tayong kalaro eh." Den said as Alyssa drags her papunta sa laruan ng bowling.
"Are you afraid to lose?" Ly asked.
"Yabang mo!" Den said.
Ly laughed, "Meron naman kasi tayong mahahanap dun. Di ko nga lang sure kung may gustong kumampi sayo." She said. Den pulled her hand from her and tinampal siya sa braso.
"Pag ako talaga nanalo, lahat ng rides sasakyan natin, ah!" Den said.
Ly held her hand again, "Baka Phenom 'to." She whispered on Den's ear sabay kinagat yon which made Den blush. "Bowling pa or--"
"Alyssa, tama na. Quota na sa kabastusan ngayong araw." Den said and rolled her eyes.
"Bastos agad?" Ly chuckled.
"Oo!" Den said. She just knows Alyssa's antics. I mean, three months na siyang ganun.
They're already inside the bowling alley and may mga kakampi na rin sila. They fortunately found three couples there na naghihintay din ng makakalaro nila. One of them is a girl couple, the other is a guy couple and the other one is a 'normal' boy-girl couple.
"Game?" Ly asked while smirking at her girlfriend's team.
"Game." Den said and rolled her eyes.
They started playing na. Alyssa's with Tyrone, the guy from the boy-girl couple, Aaron, the other guy from the guy couple and Ryanne from the girl couple. Yes, they're also here. While Den is with, Bianca, Lorraine, Tyrone's girlfriend and Leon, Aaron's boyfriend.
"Asan yabang mo?" Den asked with a smirk after nila maglaro.
"Oo na, oo na." Naiiling na sabi ni Alyssa.
"Ano na, bal?" Sabi naman ni Bianca. Ryanne just shook her head.
"Wag kasi inuuna yabang, love." Sabi ni Leon kay Aaron.
"Psh." Aaron said.
"Can never win over me, baby." Lorraine told Tyrone.
"You guys just got lucky." Tyrone said.
"Hey!" Sabay-sabay na sigaw nung apat.
"Sore losers!" Bianca said and stuck her tongue out to Ryanne and her team.
"Libre na lang, wag na madaming satsat!" Leon said.
Yun kasi naging pustahan nila. Libre pag natalo. Di naman talaga sila close at magkakakilala pero the game made them comfortable with each other.
"So, Sundate?" Den asked while they're waiting for their food.
"Hindi, babe. Saturdate, Sunday ngayon eh." Ly sarcastically said.
"I'm not talking to you." Den said and rolled her eyes.
Nag-away kasi sila habang papunta dito sa restaurant. Yung maikling lakad na yon, nakapag-away pa sila. Talented. Lol. Bakit? Away-bata, inaasar ni Alyssa si Den at napikon naman yung isa. Sila yung pinakamatandang couple sa kanilang apat pero parang sila pa yung pinakabata.
"Sungit." Ly whispered. Narinig yun ni Den kasi magkatabi sila pero hindi na lang niya pinansin.
"So, ano nga, date? Or may special occasion?" Den asked.
"Wala po. Date lang talaga." Aaron answered.
Den nodded, "Eh kayo, Lorraine?" She asked.
"Date lang din po. Graduating po kasi kami parehas kaya sobrang busy. But we took this day for ourselves. Bago man lang po mag-thesis." Sagot naman ni Lorraine.
"Kami, Ate Den. Monthsary namin ni bal ngayon." Ryanne said with a smile.
"Share mo lang?" Bianca said.
"Oo, bakit?" Ryanne said and stuck her tongue out to Bianca.
"Oh, really? Kaya pala kayo may date ha." Den said and smiled.
Alyssa nudged Den pero hindi siya pinansin. She tried pinching her pero tinapakan yung paa niya. She poked Den's sides pero tianmpal lang yung kamay niya. Tumigil na si Alyssa after nun at nanahimik na lang habang nakikinig sa kwentuhan nila Den. Nung dumating yung pagkain nila, tahimik pa rin si Alyssa.
"Ate Ly, okay ka lang?" Ryanne asked, being the closer one to her compared sa iba nilang kasama.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Sige lang, usap lang kayo." Ly said and smiled. Den looked at her pero she just smiled lang din.
"So, athletes kayo?" Tanong ni Den dun sa apat na bagong kakilala nila.
"Opo." Sagot nila.
"I play volleyball po in Poveda. Tas, Ty plays basketball naman po in Letran." Lorraine said.
"Kayo?" Baling ni Den kay Aaron at Leon.
"Team mates po kami sa CSB." Aaron answered with a smile.
"Idol ko nga po kayo ni Ate Ly eh." Leon said.
"Ay, thank you!" Den said. She nudged Alyssa kasi wala siyang reaction sa sinabi ni Leon.
"What?" Ly said. Pinanlakihan siya ni Den ng mata. "I can speak na?" She sarcastically asked. "Kanina pa eh." She said and lumabas ng restaurant tas pumasok sa kotse niya.
"Uhm, w-wait lang, guys ah. Sorry." Den said and sinundan si Alyssa.
She knocked on Alyssa's window at pinagbuksan naman siya agad. She went in and crossed her arms.
"What was that?" Den asked.
"Wala. I'm sorry." Ly said and tried to hold Den's hand pero Den pulled it back.
"No. Tell me what happened back there." Den said. Alyssa sighed. "Ikaw nagsabi na we're too old to play and goof around tas ganito?"
"I know. Kaya nga, sorry eh. I was so immature." Ly said.
"And that is because?" Tanong pa rin ni Den.
Ly sighed again, "Kasi, di mo ko pinapansin." She pouted. "Galit ka ata sakin eh."
Den sighed as well, "Sorry din. I was immature too. Napikon kasi ako kanina nung inaasar mo ko eh." She said.
Silence enveloped them before they both burst out laughing.
"Dude, mukha tayong tanga!" Den said.
"Isip-bata amp!" Sabi naman ni Alyssa.
"Sino kaya?" Natatawang pa ring sabi ni Den.
Ly pulled Den closer to her, "We ain't growing up." She said and kissed the top of Den's head.
"Never." Den said.
They went back to the restaurant and saw the younger couples talking to each other at nagtatawanan pa.
"Eksena namaaan!" Ryanne said. She and Bianca have been close to Alyssa and Dennise na talaga.
"Ate Ly mo eh." Den said and naupo na ulit.
"Alam niyo, kids." Ly said pagka-upo niya. "May nga times talaga na magiging isip-bata kayo parehas." She said and they all laughed.
"Galing nga po eh. Bati na agad kayo. Kung kami yun, baka bukas pa." Tyrone said.
"Buti alam mo!" Sabi ni Lorraine.
"See?" Tyrone said and chuckled.
"Same. Grabe magtampo, no?" Aaron said. The more musculine one between him and Leon. "Toyo overload!"
"Di naman masyado. Pag bad mood lang." Leon said.
"I can feel yo--" Ryanne was cut off by Bianca's palms on her forehead. "I can feel you, Leon kasi. Di pa nga tapos, diba? Sarap kaya toyoin minsan."
"Under the sea.." Ly said.
"Wow. Above na above ka nga eh!" Sabi naman ni Den.
"You're so cuuute po!" Lorraine squealed.
"Been told so many times." Ly said.
"Kahit talaga kelan ang yabang mo." Den said and pinisil ang pisngi ni Alyssa tas kiniss pa.
"Luh, babe? Not here infront of the kids. Mamaya na lang sa bahay." Ly said which made the teenagers laugh.
"Ay sorry, sorry. Cute mo kasi eh." Den said.
"You're so cute, doc. I didn't know you can be this mushy. Pag sa hospital parang ang seryoso niyo eh." Leon said.
Den's eyes widen, "H-hospital?" She asked.
"Yes po. You're my lolo's doctor po, diba. He's the one in room 404 na na-discharge last week." Leon answered.
Nahiya naman si Den dahil dun kasi kilala pala siya ni Leon. She's okay with Ryanne and Bianca seeing her like this kasi somehow, friends na sila. Pero someone like Leon na akala niya ay stranger pero kilala pala siya is a completely different thing.
"Cute ba ako, babe?" Ly playfully asked.
"Shut up." Den said under her breath. "Sorry, Leon. You had to see that."
"Po? Its completely fine. Cute nga po eh. Ang galing lang na you look so professional sa hospital tas you're like a completely different person infront of Ate Alyssa. That must be a good feeling for her." Leon said and smiled.
"Di rin. Saks lang." Ly said and shrugged.
"Lakas talaga!" Ryanne said. Den rolled her eyes on Alyssa.
"Joke lang, siyempre." Ly said. "I honestly feel so happy na she can be like this to me. Not that its a need but it runs an extra mile of love para sakin. Especially na alam kong hindi siya ganito before. She hates public display of affection pero look at her ngayon, she displays affection in the fuckin' public." She said and smiled sweetly at Den. "Baka super namiss niya ako within those three years na break kami." That earned gigles from the couples and a death glare from Den.
"How did you know po na she's the one for you na?" Lorraine asked.
"Kami?" Ly asked back. Lorraine nodded.
"Well, maraming beses ko na-prove yan eh. Kasi dalawang beses kami nagbreak." Ly said which made their mouths agape. Its not like its very unusual. They just didn't expect na a couple like Den and Ly have been through a couple of break ups. Parang ang perfect nila for that. "So, the first time I courted her, siyempre I felt na siya na talaga kasi she made me feel things na sa kanya ko lang naramdaman. Parang its an unusual feeling pero at the same time, I feel comfortable. Tas when we broke up, niligawan ko ulit siya. Na-prove ko ulit na siya na kasi she came back eh. Nakipagbalikan, so ako, sabi ko, eto na talaga." She sounded like a pre-school kid enthusiastically telling stories to her classmates. "Eh nag-break ulit.." She said and pouted. "I was so lost and I didn't know what to do kaya I went to Greece. Had my life there without her, tried moving on and all. Long story short, I knew na siya na talaga kasi all those years na I was trying to move on, I never succeeded. Greece is about 9 thousand miles away from the Philippines but I still feel so close to her kasi I never let her go too far from my heart." She smiled. "All the while, andito lang siya. To answer your question," They all laughed. "I knew na siya na kasi she never left me kahit na we were apart from each other, siya at siya pa rin yung babalikan ko at alam ko sa sarili ko yun." She smiled at Den again. "Boom!"
"Alyssa Valdez lang malakas!" Tyrone said. The people in the restaurant looked at them but they just giggled.
"Eh ikaw po, Ate Den?" Lorraine asked.
"Ay pati ako?" Den said. "Nakaka-pressure naman sagot mo, babe." She joked. She sighed and thought of an answer. "Well, for me, I knew na siya na when she left me." Their forehead creased, except for Ly's. She wants to hear more from Den. "Kasi when she left for Greece, I thought na that would be the start for me to move on. Na her, being away, was the only thing I need to forget about her, completely. Pero, hindi eh. That made me long for her. The love I have for her grew fonder kasi nami-miss ko siya. I wanted to be with her again but I can't do anything. Yung akala kong magiging way for the both of us to move on, yun pa lalo yung naging reason for me to realize na I really need her and I can't have a completely happy life without her. Corny man, pero I would say na the distance really made me fall deeper in love with her." She said. "I don't know if I answered your question but, yeah." She said and bit her lower lip.
"Awwe. That's so cuuute!" Lorraine said.
"True! I hope we'll reach that point in our relationship too." Sabi naman ni Leon.
"That's a legit relationship goal." Bianca said.
"Di rin talaga need na laging masaya, eh no?" Aaron said.
"Definitely not. Yung mga away at misuderstandings niyo, it will really make you stronger. In time, mari-realize niyo na lang na kung hindi niyo pinagdaanan yung mga yun, you're not gonna be where you are now." Ly said.
"At your happy place.." Den said.
Alyssa and Dennise were looking at each other, straight in the eyes, their faces getting closer and closer to each other. Boi, they lose control talaga pag magkasama sila.
"Woooppss!" Ryanne said and slammed the table. "Granny's glaring at you two." She said and pointed the old lady at the other table na masama nga ang tingin sa kanila. She stood up from her seat and nag-sign of the cross before leaving.
"Wow.." Bianca and Aaron said in unison.
"Seriously? At year 2020?" Ly said.
Den made her face the other direction, "Hayaan mo na. Atleast, she kinda prayed for us." She chuckled.
"Bless her, then." Ly said in sarcasm.

Naghiwa-hiwalay na sila at nagkanya-kanyang date na. Si Alyssa at Den, nagpunta na sa kung saan may mga rides. Oh well, if you think Den forgot. Lol.
"Babe, do we really have to do this?" Ly asked while looking at the roller coaster na umaandar ngayon at nagsisigawan na ang mga sakay. Napalunok naman si Alyssa.
"Well, I don't think the Phenom's a trash when it comes to bets." Den answered. "Lets go! This would be fun!" She said and dragged Alyssa para pumila na sila.
While on the line, halatang kinakabahan si Alyssa. She's never done this before kasi wala pang nakakapilit sa kanya. Si Den lang talaga. Nung sila na, hinila ni Den si Alyssa papasok sa loob. Ly silently sat down and took a deep breath. Den held her hands.
"Calm down. This is going to be fun." She said.
"A-are you sure?" Ly asked.
"Very sure." Den answered.
In a few seconds, the ride started. Den was screaming her heart out pero si Alyssa, tahimik lang habang nakapikit.
"Holy shit.." She mumbled under her breath.
"C'mon, babe! Open your eyes!" Den screamed.
"Hell no!" Sabi naman ni Alyssa.
They finished the ride but Alyssa was still freakin' nervous. She has her right hand in her chest while panting.
"You okay?" Den asked.
"Not really. Are you happy?" Ly asked back.
"Yeah, super!" Den answered.
"Then, I'm okay. Tara, may iba pang rides dun." Ly said and hihilahin sana si Den but Den stopped her.
"Okay na. Wag ka na magyabang masyado." Den said. "Thanks for trying it kahit takot ka."
"Mawala ka na lang ang kinatatakutan ko ngayon." Hirit ni Alyssa.
"As if mawawala ako pag di ka sumakay diyan sa mga rides diyan?" Den chuckled.

Umalis na sila sa MOA. Alyssa was just driving and hindi nila alam kung saan sila pupunta. Halos mag 6pm na din and mukhang wala pa naman balak magyaya si Den na umuwi.
"Babe, mass tayo?" Ly asked.
"Sure. Anong oras na ba?" Den said.
"5:45." Sagot ni Alyssa.
"Yun sakto for the 6pm mass. Dali, tara. Tagal na din since the last time we attended mass together eh." Den said.
They reached the church just in time for the mass. They went in and kinda felt awkward when people started eyeing them pero hinayaan na lang nila. Meron din namang mga bumabati at ngumingiti sa kanila. They settled at the seat sa likuran. In the middle of the mass, may dumating na matanda na may kasamang bata who looks like a 5-year old kid.
"Dito na po kayo." Ly said and smiled at the old lady.
"Salamat, apo." Sabi nung matanda.
Naupo yung matanda sa tabi ni Den and ngumiti rin sa kanya. Yung bata naman pinatabi na lang ni Alyssa sa kanya. Nung matapos yung misa, nagulat si Den at yung matanda na buhat na ni Alyssa yung bata.
"Aba, Mike. Baba diyan, nakakahiya kay ate. Madumi yang damit mo." Sabi nung matanda.
"Okay lang po. Nangangalay na daw po eh." Ly said. Den smiled at her. "Uhm, okay lang po ba yayain namin kayo kumain?"
"Kain po? Chicken joy?" Magiliw na tanong nung bata.
"Ay naku. Pasensiya na kayo. Ano ka ba, Mike, nakakahiya." Sabi nung lola.
"Gusto mo ng chicken joy?" Ly asked the kid.
"Opo. Masarap po yun eh." He answered.
"Sama na po kayo, nay. Sandali lang po tayo, promise." Den said.
"Sige na po, nay. Tayo lang naman po eh." Sabi naman ni Alyssa.
The old lady looked at his grandson and saw his pleading eyes so she agreed with them. They went to the fastfood chain and you can really see na Mike is so happy.
"Taga saan ho kayo, nay?" Ly asked.
"Ay diyan lang. Wala kasi kaming tirahan niyang apo ko. Kung saan lang pwede matulog, dun kami." Sagot nung matanda.
"Ah, ganun ho ba. Kayo lang ho magkasama?" Ly asked again.
"Oo. Iniwan na yan sakin ng mga magulang niya." She answered.
"Uhm, ano pong pangalan niyo, nay?" Tanong naman ni Den.
"Pablita." Sagot niya.
Alyssa and Dennise looked at each other and smiled. The kid's name is Mike and her grandmother is Pablita. Hi, universe. Shout out to you.
"Okay na po, ma'am?" Tanong nung crew after niya maibigay yung mga order nila.
"Okay na po. Thank you." Ly said and smiled. "Sige po, kain na."
They started eating and Mike's clearly enjoying his food. After they ate, nag-order pa ulit si Alyssa para ibigay sa mag-lola. Pangkain nila bukas ng umaga.
"Ay, anak, wag na. Sobra na yung binigay niyo sa amin." Lola Lita said.
"Hindi, nay. Tanggapin niyo na po. Gusto ni Mike yan eh, diba?" Ly said ruffled Mike's hair.
"Maraming salamat sa inyo, ha? Hulog kayo ng langit sa amin ng apo ko. Salamat talaga." Sabi ni Nanay Lita.
"Salamat po, Ate Alyssa at Ate Den. Sarap ng chicken joy!" Mike said.
"You're welcome, Mike. Pag nagkita ulit tayo, kain ulit tayo, okay?" Ly said and the kid nodded.
"You're welcome, Mike. Wala po yun, Lola Lita." Den said and smiled.
Hinatid muna nila yung mag-lola sa lugar kung saan sila matutulog ngayon at saka umuwi na. They were stuck in traffic when Den suddenly held Ly's hands that's on the steering wheel and kissed it.
Ly smiled, "Ang tamis naman ng entry mo, Dra. Lazaro." She said and smiled.
"I'm so happy." Den said. "This day proved how much you've matured and grown as an individual and as a partner. You make me proud, babe."
"You do too. I'm happy na ikaw kasama in all of these." Ly said. "Thanks for today."
When they reached home, they decided to post their date photos on their Instagram.
And of course, their friends would react.

Alyssa just laughed sa kakulitan ng mga kaibigan nila. She'll be forever thankful for having them. She didn't reply na sa kanila and decided to just call Den.
"Hey.." She said when Den answered the call.
"Waddup?" Den said.
Ly chuckled, "Nahahawa ka na kay Nics." She said. "Ginagawa mo?"
"Skin care?" Den said.
"Naks! May pa ganyan na ngayon? You don't need that naman eh." Sabi ni Alyssa.
"Bola." Den said. "Try lang naman. Para hindi halata eye bags ko. Hehe."
"Ako nga forever na atang may eyebags eh." Ly said. "Di ko na naranasan yung maliit na mata."
"Okay lang yan. Cute ka pa rin naman, panda bear." Den said.
"Grabe, no?" Ly said.
"Why?" Tanong ni Den.
"I didn't know you can be this vocal. Ako lang bumabanat satin dati eh. Big level up, babe. Wait, naiihi ako sa kilig!" Alyssa joked.
"Baliw. Hayaan mo na ako. Late bloomer na nga eh." Den said.
"Sabagay. Deserve ko din naman yan, diba." Ly said.
"Aish. I don't think I'll ever get used to you being conceited as hell." Sabi ni Den and sure si Alyssa na may kasamang irap yon.
"Its okay. You have the rest of your life to atleast try." Ly said.
There was a good 5 seconds of silence between them when Ly started singing.

Den felt her blood go up to her face. She was infront of a mirror so she saw how red her face is.
"Fuck.." She whispered, making sure Alyssa won't hear it.
"You're the best part of me, Dennise." Ly said.
"And you're giving sense and meaning to my life, Alyssa." Den said.
"I love you." They said at the same time which made them giggle.
That night, two people slept with their hearts full of love, fulfillment and contentment. And maybe, they really have the rest of the world waiting for them.
Two less lonely people in the world.
