Lydias pov
We all had separate room on the third floor Rhian's was to my left (although I don't think he will be in there much) and Lisa was on my right, I walk in and look around it was so big and glamorous I was only expecting a half nice room since I wasn't in a alliance with them and only staying a few days

I sit on the bed and feel the soft fabric beneath me when I realise all my stuff was already here I just needed to unpack so I did I decided to keep my self busy until four
At three and maid brought some dresses to choose from for the evening where as the other girls only got a choice of two so at four all the girls came to my room and we put all our dresses together and chose and helped each other get ready
I had secretly asked Beta Grays on what Amelias faviriout color was, green, luckily there were a couple green ones I made Suzan try on I said it was the color that most suits her
Once we were finished we all looked at ourselves in the mirror
A couple of second later there was a knock at the door
So I answer it
"hello Alpha Maze my name is banter a servent I have been sent to tell you and the rest of your pack the party has started and would like your presence, and may I ask I can't find the other female wolves do you know were they might be?"
He was old but kind
" hi Banter the other girls are in here they were helping me and we will now be on our way "
" okay Alpha Maze I shall wait here and will excort you to the ball room"
I nod and go get the girls and we let Banter lead us to the ballroom up top if you would like to see^^
We walk in and there are wolves everywhere we meat up with other members of our pack
most of the wolves were quite high rankings and powerful Banter leads us to who I presume was Alpha Cree when the alpha King turnt around he stopped and his face froze and was glaring at some of me and Lisa turnt to what he was staring at
Jase, of course Jase was his mate I swear I'm going to have to go back home alone at this point but I was still happy for him
They continued to stare at each other when Alpha slowly turnt his attention to me
"Alpha Maze I would like to speak to you and the other Alphas here to make sure what the plan is whilst you stay here"
I nod but notice he wasn't paying attention his head way facing me but still had his eyes on Jase
So I mindlinked the members who were here

"please leave for except Lisa you will stay by me" - me
"yes Alpha" - lisa
"Suzan you may go find Amelia and Seth please keep an eye on Jase, make sure he doesn't dance with anyone we don't want Alpha Cree ripping anyone head off"
"yes Alpha" everyone
End of mindlink
Everyone walks away apart from Lisa
Alpha Cree clears his thought and all the Alphas in the room come over
"so Alphas it is a pleasure that you have joined us here at my castle, as most of you know are tredition every year we pick a rough and spend time with them and when the time comes one pack will chose to take them in, the rough will be chosen by the rough that joined last year,"
He takes a breath
" last year I took in the rough, Danta Fare,"
Then the door opens and a rough walks in well not a rough anymore, when he comes closer it all makes sence why I haven't found the missing rough because he fled here
The missing rough was Danta Fare
As it approached I felt my blood boil and stared daggers at him I wanted him dead the second I relised it was him
But I couldn't not when this crowd was here not when the Alpha king was here
I had to wait for my opportunity
I mind linked Jase and Suzan and told them and they agreed that I had to wait
Alpha King speaks then gestures to it
"this is Danta Fare and he has selected his son to be part of one of our packs, Lochlan Fare"
The doors open again but this time my anger and disgust with Danta was forgotten as a amazing smell fills the room it smelt of mint ice cream and rain water for some reason I loved those sents before now
But the difference was now that was the only smell I only wanted to smell for the rest of my life
I looked at the boy at the door and are eyes instantly lock he had the most beutiful shade of blue eyes, they were darker around the edge any light blue with a mix of grey around the pupil, his black shaggy hair slightly fallen on his face
He walks toward us and the only thing I could see here and smell was him
He was my mate, but I didn't want a mate he will become a target if people found out who I was
Locklan Fare's pov
I was told by a guard to enter the ball room so I do and a luxurious sent filled my nose, it was peppermint with a hint of Rosemary it was intoxicating
I looked around for who I presumed my Mate and I lock eyes with the most beautiful woman I have ever seen
She had long black silky hair and lovely tanned skin, don't even get me started on her eyes they were a soft yet strong blue they were filled with so much emotion
I realised I was standing by the door so I started to walk over to her hoping my clumsy feet don't fail me now
As I get near I realise she is with my farther and the King and all the other Alphas
Then it hit me she was the Alpha Maze the refleus violent Alpha who killed her parents my farther said she would be here and I should avoid trying to get into her pack because she would just kill me because she hates roughs
But looking at her I carnt see her be ruthless I can see her being a kind and fair Alpha with respect for her pack so at that moment I forgot all rumors I wanted to find out for myself
But just not when my farther is around for some reason he hates Alpha Maze's guts even thinking about her made him vomite and now I hated him for hating my mate for all those time he talked bad about her
Lydia's pov
He walked over and stood next to his farther, his farther was staring daggers at me whilst Locklan stared at me with curiosity after the King Alpha dismissed us Danta walks over to me gesiring for his son to follow
I felt my insides flip as he got closer but its voice pulled me out of thought
"hello Alpha Maze, its been a long time hasn't it"
His voice was filled with venom dripping with it
My voice boiled thinking about how he is here and not dead
"wait farther you know her you never said"
"Well I knew her parents I personally never spoke to this bitch"
There was a low treating growel that came from Locklan as his farther said bitch
His voice was solf yes rougth and despite knowing my horrible reputation he still had some feeling
Either way I still carnt have a mate I can not risk him getting hurt
