tomorrow was lemon and drew's 6 month anniversary and lemon was currently freaking out.
"lemon i don't get why you don't just ask him" madison watched the brunette pace across the room for the past few minutes
"ask him if we are doing anything?" lemon looked at madison as if she just suggested she jumped off a bridge "it'll make it seem like i'm expecting something"
"but... you are" madelyn added confused. her and chase had been together for 8 months and she never had freaked out like this.
"i'm not. i'm just nervous because if he does plan something and i'm not expecting it, it'll seem like i don't care." lemon explained "i don't get how you guys don't understand this" lemon said annoyed at them
"perfect idea" elaine grabbed her phone "i'll just text rudy to ask drew if he's doing anything"
"you're so smart e! just make sure he doesn't think i'm asking"

"so drew got anything planned for your 6 months with lemon tomorrow? not that she was asking or anything" rudy added at the end, making it blatantly obvious that lemon was in fact asking
"yeah, why is lemon asking about it?"
"i very clearly said that she didn't ask. open your ears bro"
"rudy you're so dumb. why was lemon asking?" chase asked
"i don't know why but elaine texted me to ask you"
"oh, so that's who got you all smiley" jd added, referring to rudy smiling at his phone
"don't be jealous you don't have someone bro" rudy defended
"he's got me" austin walked up, putting his arm around jd
"anyway, what do you have planned?" chase asked, as he was the only other guy in a serious relationship
"i planned dinner"
"that's it?" chase furrowed his eyebrows
"is that not good?" drew started to freak out "what did you and mads do?"
"i took her to the beach for a picnic and then we went and watched the stars. it was something personal that we did on our first date."
"dinner was our first date"
"i'm not saying it's bad" chase put his arms up to defend himself, backing out of the room "but maybe put some thought into it"
drew was starting to overthink his whole plan, was dinner really not good enough. i mean it's only 6 months, it matters but not that much.
the girls arrived 15 minutes after to have a game night. "drew" lemon sang looking for him through the apartment. this brought drew out of his train of thought
"in here"
"well come out here" lemon laughed "join everyone" lemon grabbed his hand pulling him out of the bedroom. the group sat around the small coffee table and played a few card games. after awhile they got bored and they decided everything would be more fun with drinks.
once madelyn and chase arrived back at the apartment with the alcohol, they started to drink. lemon and elaine drank more than the others, per-usual.
"okay lem, that's enough" drew laughed grabbing the beer out of lemon's drunk hands.
"it's not" lemon dragged out at the end
"we've got a big day tomorrow, so i'm gonna take her home" drew told the group as he threw lemon over his shoulder
"drew put me down" lemon squealed, enjoying the view of his butt too much as she started to hit it, making the whole group laugh.

the next morning lemon woke up with a slight headache, definitely not the worst she's ever had from drinking, but it was still there. she turned over in her large bed to see that drew was not there with her like he usually was. but there was a note in his place instead

all day lemon switched from the bed to the couch, waiting for the date. at 5:30 she decided to start getting ready, with the girls' help of course. she was ready by 6:50 and eagerly sat on the couch, she was nervous for tonight. there was a knock at the door and all the girls expected him to walk in, like he usually does, but instead they hear another knock
"ooo, we got gentleman drew today" madison joked as lemon ran over to the door. she opened it to see drew holding a bouquet of red roses, just like their first date.
"aww drew, i love them" lemon smiled, hugging drew before taking the flowers and handing them to elaine to put in a vase. "okay let's go!" lemon dragged him out of the apartment with a huge smile.
as the door closed behind them, madelyn turned to the girls "i've known lemon since elementary school and i've seen her go through so many boys, but no guy has ever put a smile as big as the one she has when she's with drew on her face" she was so happy that lemon finally found the guy that lemon deserved, she's been through so many crappy relationships.
drew drove them to the restaurant they went to on their first date, sticking to his originally plan, but he had more in-store for after. they were lead to a secluded section over-looking a view of LA.
"drew, this is amazing!" lemon gushed, she wasn't expecting any of this
"you deserve the world lemon claire" drew called her by her middle-name, knowing how much she didn't like it. but little did he know, it made her stomach get butterlflies. they had a nice dinner and lemon thought the night was over.
"drew you were supposed to turn right, this is the wrong way home"
"nights not over yet lemon" drew glanced at her quickly, before looking back at the road. they soon arrived to an empty football stadium
"we're gonna play football?" lemon smiled, she loved playing sports
"no, just thought we should have some dessert under the lights"
"but the lights aren't even on and it's closed"
"since when do you follow rules?"
"good point" lemon replied as she walked over to the fence and hopped it. once they had everything set up drew grabbed the slice of cake he got from the grocery store earlier today. they opened it and started eating it while laughing and joking around. lemon stopped for a second and watched as drew laughed at his own joke.
she knew.
she knew she loved him in this moment. he made her feel at home no matter where and makes her happier than she ever thought she could feel.
'this is the moment just do it' lemon thought to herself trying to muster up the courage to tell drew she loves him
"what's wrong" drew asked noticing lemons change in demeanor
"nothing" lemon smiled reassuring him. 'i should've just told him'
"i don't believe you. i can tell when something's wrong"
"nothing is wrong drew, i promise. i just-" lemon couldn't get herself to finish the sentence. she was too nervous. she wasn't even sure if he was at that point yet. 'pshh yolo' she thought
"i love you" she whispered a couple inches away from his face
drew didn't answer. he already knew how he felt and nothing could ever change that. but his silence worried lemon
"i'm so dumb" lemon frowned backing away.
drew put his hand gently around her neck and pulled her in for a kiss. the kiss was sweet and loving, the best kiss they have shared yet, and they've shared a lot of kisses. "i love you more" drew smiled pulling away from her lips
"you do?"
"duh" he replied jokingly rolling his eyes
"thank god" she let out a relieved sigh
the lights turned on in the stadium "hey! you guys can't be here!" a security guard yelled out
"RUN!" drew yelled as they both got up running to the exit near where there car was parked. adrenaline pumping through their veins as they made it to the car, drew still making sure to open her door for her even in a rush
