'Get up and take the keyboard. We're going to challenge these sirens right here and right now!' Jin conversed telepathically.
Seeing the musical keyboard he's carrying, I stood up from the seat and began making my way over towards him. The girls called out for me but I didn't listen.
'Let's show them who's boss!'
Setting the instrument down, my fingers lightly brush over the keys before playing a chord melody. As I start to crank up the notes, Jin puts his red and black CD player down onto the ground. He inserts a disk into the CD player, and the instrumental beats and rhythm resounds through the cafeteria.
The instrumental sounds are harmonizing with the heavenly chords. Everyone, including the girls and sirens, were now staring right at us as the music captured their attention.
"Heh. Let's do this!" I heard Jin say before performing the intro.

Finishing off with an intense piano solo, I opened up my (F/C) eyes to see our schoolmates surrounding Jin and me. The greenish mist around everyone was now gone. They were applauding and cheering for us while yelling out their acclamation.
"YOU GUYS ROCK!" Bulk Biceps shouts.
"The Great and Powerful Trixie applauds for your performance!" Trixie claps.
"T-That was amazing, (Y/N)!" Flash sprints towards my figure to hug me.
Blinking rapidly, I didn't know how to feel about the hug but I gave him a pat on the back. Turning my head around, Jin flashes me a smirk and directs his thumb at the girls.
Glancing over at them, the girls were definitely giving Flash a death stare. Oh goodness, even Adagio, Aria and Sonata are glaring at him!
"Uh, Flash? I think you can let go now."
It looked like they were going to rip him apart if he kept this up! Wait, why are they even mad that he's hugging me?
Are they...jealous?
'No don't assume that! Get it together, (Y/N) (L/N)!'
"O-Oh sorry, (Y/N).. I-"
Jin intervenes the electric guitarist's sentence by standing next to me and telling Flash, "Sorry Flash, but we're gonna have to leave. Right, (Y/N)?"
I get his hint and nod, "Yeah. Sorry Flash but now isn't a good time.. I'll see you later."
Jin takes the musical keyboard in one hand and his radio in the other before kicking the cafeteria doors open to pass through. I knew that the sirens still had their eyes on me, and so I ran behind my demon friend at high speed.
The light gray and black-haired male raises a brow in confusion but looking back at the cafeteria, he realizes why I was running and an amused grin makes its way to his lips.
"So, any plans to take them out on a date?"
"Oh shut up! As if they like me!"
[~3RD POV~]
As the two friends leave, Adagio and Aria glowered at them while Sonata clapped for (Y/N) and Jin's performance.
"Wow that was amazing! Don't you think so?" The blue goofball asked her two bandmates with a broad grin.
With a growl, Adagio replies to the blue-haired girl, "This is going to be a problem. We had everyone under our spell but somehow they were able to counter it.."
Giving it some thought, Adagio's raspberry eyes went wide with realization,
"They have magic."
Aria cocks an eyebrow, "Are you saying they have Equestrian Magic, Adagio?"
"No. It isn't Equestrian Magic. Their magic is rather...different. Could it be that their magic had something to do with the pillar we saw that night..?" The orange-haired girl stroked her chin while contemplating a hypothesis.
While the sirens stood by, Sunset and the other girls withdrew from the cafeteria and were now entering the lobby. Sunset, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy were walking with Pinkie Pie skipping cheerfully and Rainbow Dash kicking a soccer ball.
"Those three are definitely in possession of some kind of Dark Magic. How else could you explain what happened back there?" Sunset tells them.
"Don’t worry, y’all. We let Principal Celestia know all about this, and those girls’ll be kicked to the curb in no time. Last thing she needs is another CHS event almost ruined by some power-crazed lunatic."
It takes a few seconds for Applejack to apprehend that her honest aspect had gotten the better of herself. Turning her head to an already gloomy Sunset, she apologizes,
"Uh, no offense."
"None taken." The red and yellow-haired female sighed.
Forwarding inside of Principal Celestia's office, her light grayish magenta fingers were keeping the window blinds open. The older woman peeks her pale grayish magenta eyes through the gap.
"Dark Magic? I find that very hard to believe." Principal Celestia replied, unconvinced of any Dark Magic lurking around the three sirens.
Taking Applejack's suggestion, the girls explained what had happened in the cafeteria with the three new girls singing and turning everyone against each other.
Yet, Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna were skeptical about their statements.
"Those girls came into my office earlier and were absolutely delightful." The latter tells them, sitting behind her desk.
"Perhaps Sunset Shimmer is just eager to make someone else out to be a bad element, so that her actions at the Fall Formal will become old news." Vice-Principal Luna scoffs.
Ouch, that shot down the girl's confidence even more...
Scratching her nape, Sunset tries to reason with the two adults, "I could see why you might think that, but—"
"That’s not what’s happening. We saw all of this go down in the cafeteria too!" Rainbow Dash cuts in.
Celestia and Luna still weren't convinced.
"Yes, but isn’t your band supposed to be part of the Musical Showcase?" Their principal queries the rainbow-haired athlete.
Rainbow Dash grimaces at the question, and answers hesitantly.
"Yes?"
"Perhaps you’re all just worried that the Dazzlings will steal your spotlight." Luna says, puzzling the girls.
"The Dazzlings?" Applejack asked.
"It’s the name of their musical group. That’s why they came by my office earlier, to sign up for the Showcase. Even sang a little song to Vice-Principal Luna and I." The principal and assistant principal smiled as they recalled the memory.
"They did?" Applejack speaks up once more.
"Yes. And we think having a Battle of the Bands instead is a marvelous idea."
Finishing her sentence, Celestia and Luna's eyes glimmered a pale green before returning back to their original colors of pale grayish magenta and moderate cyan.
Like their other schoolmates, the sudden change of Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna leaves them at a loss for words.
Later on, the six girls are now in front of the school; Rainbow Dash pushing a soccer ball up into the air with her knees, Pinkie Pie laying on the horse statue, Rarity polishing her nails a dark magenta, Fluttershy letting a ladybug crawl onto her index finger, Sunset leans her back against the statue, and Applejack paces around with her thoughts.
"I can’t believe they got to Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna too." Fluttershy vents her shock.
"They’ve gotten to everybody!" Rainbow Dash continues to mess with the soccer ball.
"Not everybody!" The pink goofball utters merrily while turning her body to Sunset and Applejack's direction.
"Pinkie Pie’s right. We were there when the Dazzlings were singin’, and we weren’t affected. The same goes to (Y/N)! It was like we were protected somehow." Applejack concurred with Pinkie Pie.
"So let’s take them down! It’s not like we haven’t tangled with Dark Magic before and totally whupped its sorry butt."
Just like Applejack's indiscretion from earlier, the athlete's bluntness slipped. A few seconds passed by, Rainbow Dash realizes her mistake and turns to Sunset.
"Uh, no offense."
Another sigh escapes the red and yellow-haired girl's lips, "None taken—again."
"Well all of you were protected by your Equestrian Magic." A voice pops up into their ears.
The girls lift their heads to see Jin and (Y/N) standing right in front of them.
"W-When did you two get here?" Rarity and the others slightly jumped at their unexpected appearance.
"Sorry girls. We had to privately discuss some matters." (Y/N) softly smiles at them, and a faint blush progresses on their cheeks.
"Back to Applejack's sentence, each of you were shielded by your Equestrian Magic. As for us, we were able to withstand their spell." Jin informs his friends.
"As you saw from earlier when we performed, everyone had stopped fighting and the two of us were able to draw away their spell. Since you girls transform by playing music, maybe that's the way to defeat them." (Y/N) clues in.
"So you're saying to beat those three is with music?" Rainbow Dash sums up, and the noirette nods at her answer.
"However, your magic won't be enough because you're missing at least two elements." The demon crosses his arms.
"What do ya mean?" Applejack raises an eyebrow.
"Well, there's one element in Equestria." He gives a hint, and the others get his signal.
"If only we could get a message to Twilight. Maybe she could tell us how to break the spell the Dazzlings have cast on our friends." Rarity sighs heavily, continuing to paint her nails.
"Well, that’s not gonna happen. The portal’s closed." Rainbow Dash threw her soccer ball at the statue.
Rarity is able to dodge the ball by ducking down, and the object hits the smooth silver surface before bouncing away into Rainbow's palm. Although the fashionista is safe, she gasps in horror at the sight of her arm. A streak of dark magenta nail polish is presented, causing Rarity to drop the brush.
"And I get the feeling they don’t exactly have cell phones where she’s from. Do you guys have any ideas on how to contact Twilight?" The sport player's question is intended for Jin and (Y/N).
"Well there are some spells we could use to communicate with anyone outside of earth but I'm not sure.." The noirette's sentence trails off.
"Communicating through different worlds isn't easy to do. It'd be a bit difficult for me to perform since that type of spell is basically god-tier. (Y/N) is able to pull it off but due to certain circumstances it's best for her not to do so." Jin shakes his head.
"Do you mind telling us why you won't let her do the spell??" Pinkie Pie perks up.
"It'll allow her spirit to travel through different universes but there's a time limit. She's never been to Equestria and the same goes to me so that would only waste time. Once time is up, her spirit will return and there's a physical downside. That's another time to tell but for now we need to hurry and find a way to get in contact with Princess Twilight." The demon voices out.
For a hard minute, Sunset is deeply thinking of some solutions while scratching her head. Then an idea arrived underneath her red and yellow coiffure, and a smile made its way to her lips.
"I may have an idea how we can get in touch with Princess Twilight!"
Going back inside, everyone is now standing in front of Sunset Shimmer's locker. The girl looks keenly, rummaging through her belongings and then turns back around, holding a brown book with her shimmering sun cutie mark on the cover.
"When I was Princess Celestia’s student back in Equestria, she gave me this. Even after I abandoned my studies, I held on to it. Deep down, I guess I knew I was making a big mistake and I wanted to still have a way to reach out to her." Sunset brushes her hand over the book cover.
"Maybe it still works." Their past nemesis smiles while flipping through the pages.
"That’s a book, dear. What do you mean, 'maybe still works'?" Rarity dismissed.
"Well hold on Rare, I sense some magic flowing through that book. It could still work even if you're in a different world so let's give it a try." (Y/N) smiles, and the fashionista begins to turn scarlet upon hearing the noirette's nickname for her.
"R-Rare..?" Rarity spaces out.
"It used to be that if I wrote something here, it would appear in the pages of a book back in Princess Celestia’s library. I get a message to her, then she can get a message to Princess Twilight." Sunset carries on.
"So what are you waiting for? Get to writing!" Rainbow Dash holds a pen in Sunset's view.
(Y/N), Jin and the others held warm smiles towards Sunset as she deemed the writing utensil with puzzlement. Taking the pen and glancing down at the pages, perturbation is shown across her face before letting out a sigh.
"Been a long time since I’ve written these words."
(Y/N) walks over to stand by her side, wrapping an arm around Sunset's shoulders.
"We're here for you. Don't forget that." The (F/C)-eyed noirette flashes her an eye-smile.
That was enough for Sunset Shimmer to bring down her pen and start to write on the pages.
"Dear Princess Celestia…"
The ink lights up into a pink and white glow as it touches the page; Sunset's message is being delivered as she continues to write about their confrontation with the new student's Dark Magic.
[~1ST POV~]
Several minutes had passed by, and all of us were back at the front lawn.
Everyone was doing their own thing as we waited for the princess to arrive; Rarity applying polish to Fluttershy's nails, Rainbow Dash and Sunset sitting by the horse statue, Applejack and Pinkie Pie were settled on top of it and playing cards.
Jin and I stood in front of the girls, looking over our lyrics while listening to the songs through his metallic black airpods.
The sports star lazily tosses the soccer ball back and forth with her hands but stops after releasing a bored sigh.
"I’m starting to think she’s not coming."
Right as she said that, one side of the base flashes white and two figures flew out: a light mulberry gray-skinned girl and one lighter mulberry dog.
Spike hurtles into the ground while Twilight lands on someone...
That someone is me.
My body was pushed onto the ground and opening my eyes, I saw Twilight on top of me with her hands on both sides of my head and her face extremely close to mine.
Not only that but I felt something soft pressing up against my lips.
'Huh..? What's this..?'
The Equestrian Princess gaped open her moderate violet eyes and with an intense blush playing across her face, she immediately pulled herself off of me.
"I.....I'm so s-sorry!!!" Twilight stammered.
Observing the other's expressions, the girls were staring open-mouthed while Jin is on the sidelines clapping his hands together with a smirk.
'Congratulations. You just got a kiss from Princess Twilight!' My demon best friend communicates with me by linking our minds.
Connecting the dots together, my face and ears are now burning with embarrassment after realizing what transpired.
WHAT!?
Well there goes my first kiss...
Everyone except Twilight, Spike, Jin and me: "Twilight!"
Rotating herself to face the girls, she rubs her head and weakly responds with a blush, "Ooh... I’m back."
Sunset extends one of her light amber colored-hands towards the Equestrian Princess. At first, Twilight regards the gesture with suspicion but shortly the uneasiness disappears and she takes Sunset's hand.
Seconds later, the other five girls gathered around Twilight and embraced her into a group hug. Sunset Shimmer stepped back to let the five girls do as they pleased.
Jin held a hand out for me to take and I gladly did.
Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy: "Oh, Twilight!"
Letting her go for a second, Twilight alerts them about the Dazzlings,
"And I’ve got some bad news about those new girls."
All of them voiced out their dismay after hearing the two words: 'bad news'.
While the girls were talking to Twilight, Jin playfully pokes my shoulder with his elbow.
"I'm so proud of you. Getting your first kiss already? Oh when is the wedding!"
I glared at him with flushed cheeks, exclaiming, "Just shut the hell up!!"
