Wooyoung had called y/n
saying that he wanted to meet her.
He said he'd come after dinner,
to have a friendly chat.
Even if y/n didn't tell him,
she was dreading this little
‘friendly chat.’ But both of them couldn't deny the past forever.
The connection. The kisses.
The hugs. The cuddles. The shyness,
of their first relationship. The
way he'd make her blush,
how he'd braid her hair. Her
trying to bake cookies and
it being a huge disaster.
The crazy dances in the kitchen,
skate boarding together,
linking pinkies together.
They were so happy.
Their memories, their plans
all intertwined, as if they
were going to be together forever.
Usually, whenever they'd be
together, Mingi would be there too.
It didn't give them much time
to talk about stuff that had
happened. Besides,
it seemed like a topic y/n
didn't want to talk about.
Y/n hadn't told yeosang about
Wooyoung. The only people
that probably knew were her
very old friends and both of their
families.
Someone rang the doorbell,
snapping her out of her thoughts.
She opened the door.
There stood Wooyoung,
in a red hoodie, black jeans
and his favorite vans.
He had a bag in his hands.

“hey, come on in.”
The two of them sat down on the couch. Since it was late, everyone was in their rooms. Yeosang had probably
passed out since he had to cover
an extra shift today.
WOOYOUNG:
“mom baked these cookies
for you.”

“tell her I said thanks.”

“i'll visit soon.”
He handed her the bag.

“yeah you should.”
WOOYOUNG:
“diesel has grown up.”

“wait– he's not dead?”

“MY DOG IS STILL ALIVE.”

The two of them chuckled.
Both of them had named his
dog together.

“anyway how are you feeling?”
Y/N:
“im doing okay, at the
moment.”
Y/N:
“but the thought of ever
seeing Taeyong and Yuta
is making me lose my mind.”

“i don't want to see them.”
Y/N:
“not even for a trial.”
WOOYOUNG:
“yeah, I understand.”
WOOYOUNG:
“you don't have to, if
you don't want too.”

“i know, that's what dad
said too but–”

“what if they ever come back?”

“this time, it wasn't that bad
but what if next time they
hurt someone and it'll be

“I promise that it'll be okay.”

bastards ever come near
you again.”
She smiled.
Y/N:
“thank you, wooyoung.”
WOOYOUNG:
“I know it won't make you
feel that better but I promise
I will protect you.”
Y/N:
“i do feel better already,
grasshopper.”
He smiled at the nickname.
WOOYOUNG:
“and I also want
you to know that, I wouldn't
trade you for the world.”
Y/N:
“i know that wooyoung.”
Y/N:
“i wouldn't trade you for the

Wooyoung sighed.
WOOYOUNG:
“but you should know that
I don't mean it as a friend.”

She scoffed.
