~At BigHit~
I happily headed to the recording room that my manager told me to go to at the last minute. When I entered the room, I noticed that the managers were already there. I looked around the room, mesmerized. It really was big.
"Good morning," my manager said. "Morning," I bowed. "The others should be here shortly," the manager of BTS informed, and I nodded. "Well, are you ready to blow the socks off of those boys?" my manager asked, and I looked at her, confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I want you to show them that you're the better idol," she joked. Even if she wasn't being serious, the thought made me want to laugh. "I can't be better than them because they're already better than me," I played along. She scoffed, "We'll see about that."
After a while, the door opened and BTS walked into the room. When they saw me, they smiled and I smiled back. Then they greeted our managers.
"Okay, everyone is here," my manager said. I immediately went to Yoongi, "Good morning." "Morning," he said after looking at me. I could tell something was off with him. His aura was different. "Is there something wrong?" I asked, concerned. "It's nothing," he said. "What's wrong, Yoongi?" I asked in a cute voice. He stared at me for a while in shock before chuckling. "It's nothing to worry about. I'm just tired," he patted my head. I sighed in defeat, knowing he was lying to me. "Is everyone ready?" I heard. We all nodded in response.
~After a few minutes~
After I sang the last verse, the song faded out. We waited in the quiet room before someone gave us a thumbs up. You breathed out in relief and with happiness.
"You're good," Namjoon complimented. I thanked him.
Within a matter of seconds, the others, beside Yoongi, started surrounding me. As they complimented me, the more I got embarrassed. I couldn't stop smiling. Yoongi just stood there and watched.
"Okay, guys. I think that's enough compliments. We should get back to practice," he finally said. I stared at him as he coldly glared at his members. With those words, they started thanking everyone. "What was that about?" I approached his side. Yoongi let out a sigh, "We don't have time to spend all day complimenting you even if you're talented. Don't forget that we're doing this for our fans, so we don't have time to waste away and get distracted." He was so blunt that it made my heart ache.
"Why is he being harsh all of a sudden?" I asked myself, "Why can't he just be happy for me?" "Well, I think that you should spend more time having fun instead of being a pushover all the time. Just because we're not like you, doesn't mean you should ruin our fun," I blurted out. I immediately covered my mouth in shock. "I-I mean-" I wanted to take back what I said. "What do you mean 'like me?'" he asked, coldly. "I was only joking-!" I nervously laughed.
He glared at me. Somehow that look seemed familiar. "Wait, is he jealous that they were complimenting me?" I thought. "Listen, I'm sorry I blurted that out. I know you just want to do your best for your fans," I was trying my hardest not to tease him, since it'll probably make the situation worse than it already is. He opened his mouth to say something, but he was interrupted. "Yoongi, it looks like someone has come to pay you a visit," his manager said. Yoongi nodded, "I'll meet you in my studio?" I nodded in response.
~Yoongi's P.O.V.~
I followed behind a staff member as they led me to a room. When we made it there, I noticed a sign hanging on the door. It read "Conference room." The staff member bowed before leaving. I slowly began opening the door. Through a small crack, I noticed a guy dressed like a butler.
"What the h**l?" I continued opening the door. When it was fully opened, my eyes widened. "My prince, you made it!" Mimi squealed. As I stared at her in shock, thoughts and memories started flooding my mind. "I know, I know," she started making her way to me, "You've missed me, right? It must have been so hard without me." She started caressing my cheek. "But now, I'm back," she grinned. "How did you find me?" I backed away.
~After a while~
~Your P.O.V.~
I let out a sigh, "He's been gone for some time now..."
After a while of spinning in his chair, I started getting thirsty. I got up and rummaged through my backpack. When I found my wallet, I went to find a vending machine.
"I'm pretty sure there's one near the conference room," I thought.
I started making a blueprint in my mind of where a vending machine can be located. When I found it, I went over to it. That's when I noticed the conference room's door was open.
"That's strange. Normally the door is closed, even if no one is in there," I curiously walked into the room.
