Forth's pov:
The moment we were inside, pha took my hand and dragged me to the bedroom.
Mom and dad didn't say anything to stop him.
"Pha what's wrong?" I asked when we were in the bedroom.
He pulled me and wrapped his arms around me tightly. He buried his face face in my neck and inhaled deeply.
His heart is pounding. Kai said worriedly.
I wrapped my arms around him and rubbed his back gently.
" Don't do that again. My heart almost stopped." He whispered in my ear.
I blinked.
"Were you worried about me?" I asked.
"Of course i was! You took him with you right after saying he's possessed by a demon! How could i not be worried?!" He shouted.
"You do know that I'm a lot stronger than one demon don't you?" I smiled.
"I know. But still...."
"I won't do that again. I'll give you a fair warning beforehand next time. I just didn't want the packhouse to be damaged or anyone else to get hurt. So i acted fast."
"Hm..."
His heartbeat had calmed down but he still didn't let go of me.
"I love you." He suddenly said.
I froze. I wasn't expecting that at all.
He slowly let go of me and took a step back. He was still holding my hands. "I know we've only been together for a few days but i feel like I've known you for a long time. Every one of your actions, your gestures, all of your features. Everyday i see a new side of you. And it makes me fall in love with you more and more."
I could tell he meant every single word.
My eyes teared up. I've waited my whole life for someone to say those words to me.
"I-"
I couldn't form a word. There was a lump in my throat.
"It's ok. You can say it when you're ready. I'll wait." He caressed my cheeks softly while smiling gently.
I stepped forward and hugged him tightly. "I love you too. You're the first person in my life who smiled at me. I've been praying every day for the last two years hoping to meet you. The only thing that kept me going everyday was the thought of being able to find my mate and escape from that hell and finally find happiness. You granted that wish of mine and gave me so much. I couldn't ask for more."
Tears were streaming down my face at this point.
He was stroking my hair gently.
"I was actually thinking no one would want someone who's body is covered in scars and a lowly omega. I was extremely frightened that you would reject me." I admitted.
"No! Don't talk about yourself like that! I want you more than anything. I don't care if you are an omega. You're my mate and that's all that matters for me. The moon goddess gave you to me for a reason. And you are the best mate i could ever ask for." He pushed me and looked into my eyes.
" As for your scars, I feel proud when i see them. "My mate is so strong. He survived all this on his own." These are the thoughts that run in my head when i see them. So don't you dare talk bad about yourself again. If you do that means you're insulting the person i love. And i won't stand for that. Understand?" He wiped my tears gently.
I smiled and nodded.
He slowly closed the gap between us. I closed my eyes when he connected our lips.
It wasn't a rough kiss. It was a gentle reassuring kiss. As if he was trying to tell me that he's not going to leave me. I could feel his love through this kiss. I tried to relay my feelings as well.
Our lips moved in sync slowly at first. Then it started getting more heated. He started sucking my lower lip and nibbling it.
I gasped and he used that moment to push his tongue into my mouth.
"Mnnn... Nnngh.." I couldn't stop my moans when his tongue started exploring mouth.
Our tongues danced together and fought for dominance which he ended up winning.
He pulled me closer and pressed our bodies together. He held the back of my head with one hand and my lower back with the other.
I was clutching onto his shirt tightly so as to not collapse. I could feel his hard length grinding against my hip.
He suddenly stopped and pulled away. He joined our foreheads. We were both panting.
"As much as i would love to continue, i think it's still too soon. Let's wait a little longer ok?" He cupped my cheeks after we caught our breaths.
I smiled and nodded.
His eyes suddenly went blank.
"Dad wants us to come to his office." He said.
"Ok. Let's go." I took his hand and walked out of the room.
Hey forth? Kai spoke up.
Yeah?
I don't know if you realise this but I'm pretty sure your lips are really swollen after that make out. He pointed out.
I stopped walking and covered my mouth.
" What is it?" Pha asked.
"My lips..." I looked at him.
"It's ok dad won't say anything. Come on." He chuckled and pulled my hand.
"You sure?" I asked.
"Yup. Let's go. Dad's waiting." He smiled reassuringly.
After we got there, he knocked on the door. I heard dad's voice telling us to come in.
"Hey dad you called?" Pha asked after we went in.
"Yeah come sit. I want to talk about what happened earlier at the terrace." He was sitting on the couch.
We went and sat infront of him.
"Forth can you tell me what exactly happened before we got there?" He looked at me.
"Well i was trying out a spell when i suddenly sensed and ominous presence from behind the door. I could tell something was off the moment he came out. He started talking about how handsome i was and how he would love to see pha's face when he finds me dead with multiple men's semen in my ass. He tried to bring me somewhere but when i refused he charged at me. So i defended myself and ended up accidentally using too much strength when i threw him." I explained.
I could feel dad and pha's anger radiating off them.
" Was that the demon talking?" Dad asked.
Was it? I asked kai.
No i don't think it was. The scent of the demon was barely noticeable at that time. And his eyes also looked normal. So i think it was that guy talking not the Cain. Kai said.

"That bastard..." Pha hissed through gritted teeth. I could feel his anger rising with every passing second.
"But Rit never acted like that. He would always adore Pha. He was really kind to everyone." Dad frowned.
Cain must have been influencing him. Demons are known to get into your head. They will dig out every single drop of negative feelings inside you and intensity them by 10 or even 100 times. Kai spoke up.
"He must have been under Cain's influence. Demons are able to get into your head. They will dig out every single drop of negative feeling inside you and intensify them by 10 or even 100 times." I said.
Dad's frown deepened.
"These demons are really dangerous. Is there any way you can tell if there are any other people in the pack who are possessed by a demon?" pha turned to me.
I nodded. "I can do that but only when i join the packlink. When i join the packlink, I'll be able to sense if there's someone with dark motives within the pack."
He nodded.
"But the risk of them being able to possess anyone would still be there." Dad looked at me.
"No. When kai shares his powers through the packlink, it will protect all of them from being possessed. But being able to influence them is another thing. That's their feelings. We can't stop that." I explained.
"But you would be able to sense if anyone develops any malicious feelings right?" Pha asked.
I nodded.
"That's good. If you can sense them then we can stop them before it's too late." Dad breathed a relieved sigh.
Pha nodded.
Dad then looked at my lips and smirked. "Seems like your relationship is going smoothly."
I covered my lips and blushed profusely.
"Dad stop embarrassing him." Pha pouted.
"What I'm just happy for you two." He chuckled.
