The rest of that day was mostly filled up with the usual jokes and jumbles of laughter that normally came when Hoseok and Yoongi hung out. Though this time, it was different since they were open with their feelings and properly confessed to one another just the day before, with not one drop of awkward or thick tension linger in the air above them.

Since they've had enough of that in their history of knowing each other.

But leaving that all behind, the two were truly happier than they've ever been, with finally being able to freely express their desired affection whenever they wished, after of course getting consent to do so, which came in one of their many conversations about their new blossoming relationship.

For now, they kept the plain title of simply 'dating' or taking things slow and testing it out rather, just to ensure that the pair was fully comfortable with the whole ordeal before progressing into the more intimate category like boyfriends or becoming official.

But so far so good, and they didn't see any complications coming in their relationship any time soon or in the near future. Plus, with all they've gone through already, it seems like they've tackled the main problem already and fully eliminated him out of the game.

But besides discussing proper relationship adequate and what they were both comfortable with regarding skinship, the topic of when to tell the others came up as well somewhere along the way.

Now since the group already had made plans a while ago to devote a day where they'd all hang out and exchange Christmas gifts and such on News Years Eve, both Hoseok and Yoongi planned to do it then.

The werent exactly sure how to do it, but maybe the moment would just come to them when the time arrived.

Hopefully the two wouldn't chicken out since keeping it a secret from their friends for too long of time just didn't sit right with them, especially since three of their friends were already aware of their mutual feelings for one another.

But aside from those three, the others, or Namjoon, Seokjin, and Jungkook, already had a good idea that there was something going on between the two.

But it was all just a hefty assumption that wasn't confirmed by either of them, so they kept their mouths shut for the time being.

Though soon in just a matter of a few days, their hypotheses would be proven right.

And Hoseok and Yoongi couldn't wait.

Christmas came and went, with each individual person spending the day with their family and celebrating the holiday seasons with their loved ones. From waking up at dawn to eating until your stuffed at dusk, the entire day was filled with merry festivities and feasts that erupted into bundles of joy wherever they went.

It was now a few days past, specifically the afternoon of New Years Eve.

The group was once again heading to Taehyung's house against his will, since he had the best fitted house by popular vote and he personally had no say in the group decision.

Let's just say the group chat got quite heated when discussing who's house to go to, but funny nonetheless since meaningless bickers always provided amusement for the ones witnessing the argument unfold.

After endless fights later, the final choice came to a decision, which is how the seven won against Taehyung and concluded that they, after all, would be spending New Years at his house no matter what.

So that's where Hoseok and Yoongi we're headed right now, since the two had spent the morning at Hoseok's house together anyways and just decided to head over across the street to their other friends house together.

As a pair.

Alone.

Hopefully that would give some hints since both Hoseok and Yoongi weren't the best when it came to verbalizing things when it came to explaining things like this to others who weren't them. Though when it was just them two alone, it came naturally without any embarrassment following afterwards.

But this was a whole new case.

Putting all of that aside, the two were currently fixing up their appearances in Hoseok's bedroom when the expected arrival time for Taehyung's came nearer and nearer. Thankfully Hoseok was only across the street, so time wasn't necessarily an issue for them.

It was just their bubbling nerves since they both settled on delivering the news in the coming hours, which didn't help but send anxious tingles down both of their backs even though they were both well aware that their friends would be more than supportive no matter what. But still, it was a big change in their friend group now that a couple would be in it, and despite showcasing a deeper level of love and affection to one another than the rest, that didn't mean they wanted anything to change between all eight of them.

Hopefully this slight adjustment wouldn't end up being a mistake or the cause of the group's downfall, since the horrid stories of couples breaking up and tearing friend groups apart terrorized both Hoseok and Yoongi to the core, which is the exact opposite of what they wanted.

Because they loved the others just as much, even if it was just in a platonic way. But still, that didn't make them any less to them by any means whatsoever.

Both were just hoping they'd understand that when the time came to deliver the news.

"Alright, I think I'm ready," Hoseok mumbled from inside his closet, currently digging around for a certain pair of shoes to wear.

"How do I look?" He beamed, turning around swiftly and striking a dramatic modeling pose, sending Yoongi into a blushing and smiling fit.

Because although it was more of a comedic move, Hoseok still looked stunning regardless with his iconic and bold fashion sense.

He always did.

But still, that didn't mean Yoongi had gotten used to it yet, thus why the man was constantly flustered around him even by the simplest of things.

"You look," Yoongi stammered, shamelessly scanning his eyes up and down Hoseok's outfit without a care in the world that it came off as checking him out, which caused a slight blush to creep up Hoseok's cheeks at the sly yet subtle action, "great!"

Unfortunately, that was all Yoongi could muster out into proper words, despite the whole chapter book he had planned out in his head just with adjectives and paragraphs of descriptions praising Hoseok on how he always looked effortless no matter what, with this occasion being no excuse. But alas, Yoongi's more shy personality came out as show being as why almost every word he wanted to say just got swallowed back down again by pure nervousness, still not used to the whole 'kind-of-boyfriend' thing.

Or that was just Hoseok making Yoongi nervous in general, which was most likely the case since even before the two started dating he acted like this.

In reality, not much had changed.

A low chuckle slipped past Hoseok's lips at Yoongi's obvious struggle at getting something out that would actually make sense and not just be verbalized as some incomprehensible gibberish. But he found the whole entire thing adorable, since Hoseok adored the timid demeanor Yoongi carried more than anything, since it really demonstrated how much of a softie and sweetheart he really was.

And not the anti-social or intimidating person everyone made him out to be at first glance.

"Same goes for you," he responded, rubbing his free hand through Yoongi's frosty colored locks, coincidentally matching perfectly with the wintery scene outside.

Yoongi looked down at his outfit, before meeting Hoseok's smirking one looking right back at him.

"I'm literally wearing your hoodie and black sweatpants," Yoongi retorted playfully, not really seeing how his outfit was even comparable to the boy in front of him, but apparently Hoseok had his own reasoning and argument to that.

"Exactly," he winked in return, taking both of Yoongi's hands in his before spinning the two around gleefully in countless circles, just how little kids would usually do when playing outside in the park.

Yoongi merely rolled his eyes at this, but complied since he never could go wrong with a more carefree and laidback activity, something he never lacked when around Hoseok.

Another thing he absolutely loved about him.

Among any others on the very very very long list consisted of the reasons as to why Yoongi fell for him in the first place.

But that was for another time.

After being satisfied enough with how many times they spun around in innumerable circles in the comfort of Hoseok's bedroom, he decided it was time to go since the clock on his pearly white walls read the expected arrival time.

So, grabbing Yoongi's hand in his with their jackets already on and gifts in hand, the two headed out the door and across the street to where their friends were all probably questioning where they heck they had been, especially since Hoseok only lived not even a one minute walk away from Taehyung.

But how do you explain that you've been goofing off and spinning around in circles with your kind-of-boyfriend that you hadn't yet even mentioned to your friends several days after the two of you kissed?

That's right, you couldn't.

But soon, all of that would change.

In just the span of a couple hours.
