The eighth month of the year.
Just lend me your listening ear.
It is windy out here.
And the tides adhere to the weather.
Humans are locked up in their homes.
And that's a good thing for our swimming strokes.
For these people litter our house
When they have a so-called holiday on the beach.
Bringing to you the most peaceful month
Where we get to wander around without fear
Of being castrated by the plastics.
Where we get to wipe away tears
Of the deaths of our younger ones.
For we, as creatures of the sea
Will taste the feeling of freedom
for a whole four weeks.
From now on it's decided; August will be a month of sweet peace.
