harley and nate have been going out for a little over three months now ever since their first real encounter in history class, but it wasn't anything serious.
well, it wasn't anything serious to harley.
she likes him, of course, but it's college. she knows better than to get into a relationship. plus, she isn't blind to the red flags nate drops. if she is to— god forbid— fall in- love and get into a relationship, it sure will not be with him.
in those three months together, she finds him to be overly protective and possessive, jealous and insecure, misogynistic and self- absorbed.
but sometimes, he's the complete opposite.
nate, on the other hand, is completely head- over- heels in- love with harley.
he's used to maddy— used to a petty and childish relationship—, but with harley, he feels like he has just come up for a breath of fresh air— like he has found his safe space.
