Scarlet's POV
Hi. My name is Scarlet Rose Kents. I'm 14 years young. I hate my life right now. I'll quickly tell you my story.
My parents weren't expecting a girl so they hated me. They abuse me and make me hate myself. I get bullied at school
verbally and physically. My parents still don't give two shits though. I've self harmed since 6th grade and attempted suicide twice.
I'm only hanging on because I've got music. I love my music. I love bands like SWS, PTV, BVB and FIR. My very favorite is Pierce The Veil. I do not have a favorite out of all of them.
Alright back to the end of the school day.
"Oh look, it's Scarlet," I here Cameron Bealer, the head of the girls basket ball team say. She's in highschool but we're on the same campus,"have you found out why yor parents hate you yet? You Emo piece of shit."
As I walk pass her and her little group, I flip them off. She gets pissed after I do this.
She gets up and tries to grab me, but I'm already speeding down the sidewalk on my black penny board.
"YOU'LL REGRET THAT ON MONDAY YOU BASTARD!!!!" She yells after me.
"I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT, BITCH." I yell back.
An few minutes later when I think I'm safe, I put my earbuds in and put "A Match Into Water" on by Pierce The Veil on repeat.
It takes about 15 minutes to get to my house from school.
When I get to my house, my parents aren't there. 'That's a good thing.' I think.
But wait...there's another car in the driveway. I wonder who it is?
"H-hello?" I stutter as I walk into the kitchen. I gasp as I read the note on the fridge. It's from my parents.
Dear Scarlet,
We never have loved you ever. And we just want to say that we have left and are not coming back. You know how to use a credit card. I think you'll be fine you useless piece of shit.

Well fuck them. When I go to the living room, I gasp again because... I found out who the car belongs to.
"Hi I'm very sorry for this break in but we were wondering if you could tell us where to find the nearest hotel." One of them says.
"U-um, don't worry about it, Tony Perry. And Vic and Mike and Jaime. I'm not going to freak out. But I am a huge fan!" I say excitedly.
(A/N: I told you that it sucks. I just thought of it at school though.)
If they even mention the fact that they saw the note, I will not be able to apologize enough for that. I'm also not letting them know that I'm "just another depressed fan." I don't want help. So my fake smile and long sleeves are enough.
"Aren't you hot in that sweatshirt?" Mike asks.
I too quickly shake my head no.
"My name's Scarlet. Scarlet Kents." I say as I pull my sleeves down a little further.
"Well it's nice to meet you, Scarlet. That's a beautiful name." Mike says.
"Thanks it was a birthday present." I say humorously.
They all laugh.
After a few moments go by, Jaime speaks up.
"I'm sorry about your parents. Do you have anywhere to go?"
"Don't be. They never actually wanted me anyway. I'm happy that they left." I say with a fake smile.
"But do you have a place to stay?" Jaime repeats.
I shake my head. All of my family members either hate me aswell or have died.
"The nearest hotel. Well, it's not in the neighborhood. So once you get out of the neighborhood, take a left and then another left and the hotel should be on your right." I tell them.
"Viiiiiiiic!!!!!" Jaime whines,"can she come with us pleeeaaaassseee!??!!!?"
"U-uh no it's fine I'll get by. And I don't want to be a burden to you guys." I say a little too suspiciously.
"Your not a burden. In fact, I think it would be fun to have a daughter like figure in our lives." Vic says.

"Are you sure? I really don't want to get in the way. You guys are on tour." I say.
At this point, Jaime gets a little excited.
"You won't be a burden ok Scarlet? Now you don't have a choice, you are coming to live with us!!!" He says.
Tony stands up,"Now go and pack your stuff. Do you need help?"
I nod and he comes upstairs with me. When we get to my room, he just stares at the painted designs on the wall.
"Did you paint those?"
"Yeah I did. when my parents saw it, they almost threw me out the window. I'm not even joking."
When we were done packing, I remember that, I still have a month of school left.
"Vic?" I say.
"What is it Scarlet?" He replies.
"I still have school."
"Well, we'll sign you out of it. Your parents can't stop us. So you have my permission to drop out now." he says with a smile.
"Yessss!! Thanks Vic!!"
TIMESKIP
Mike's POV
We've already checked in to the hotel and Scarlet and Jaime are going crazy.
"NO BATMAN IS BETTER!!!!" She yells.
"SPIIIIDDEEEERRRMAAANN!!!!" He yells back.
I already love Scarlet's company. She's gonna be so fun to be around.
"THUD!!!" I hear something hit the floor hard.
"Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!! Jaime what the hell man?" Scarlet says.
She gets up and goes to the bathroom.
"You made me bleed!!" She says walking out of the bathroom.
Vic walkin and tells them not to jump on the bed anymore.
TIMESKIP TO NIGHTIME
"Mike?" I hear Scarlet say.
"Hmm?" I reply.
"We're gonna watch The Nightmare Befo-" I cut her off by running into the "living room" and sitting on the couch.
After the movie was over everyone fell asleep accept for Vic. But he usually stays up late anyways.
But he eventually went to sleep too.
Tony's POV
At like 2:00 in the morning, I get up to go to the bathroom. But the door's closed and locked.
I knock. And all I hear is a moan.
It's Scarlet. Please tell me that she's not doing what I think she's doing.
"Scarlet? Open the door. Now." I say.
"No." she replies.
"Fine." I say as I get a paper clip from one of Vic's papers.
I pick the lock and don't like what I see.
I quickly kneel down next to her. I take one of her arms in my hands, covering them with blood.
"No," I whisper,"no no no no."
"T-Tony. Please just g-go. I'm okay." she says with a sad smile.
"VIC!!! MIKE!!! JAIME!!!" I yell.
"This can't be happening." I whisper again.
They all show up at the door. Staring.
"I-I'm okay g-guys. It's okay." She wimpers.
"No your not." Vic says.
I hold her close and she cries into my shirt. Soaking it with blood and tears. But I dont care.
Why didn't she tell us? We would've helped her. Now we have to help her no matter what.
I call an ambulance and they take her away.
