"I was wondering if Argus could drive me to Sally Jackson's apartment" Chiron had a look of confusion before his eyes glinted in understanding before he nudged Mr D
"Very well Annabelle but be back before tomorrow" I smiled
"Of course" I gave them both a small bow before rushing towards half blood hill to meet with Argus
~Present~
Annabeth's P.o.v (I stuck at writing smart I am very stupid)
I stopped as I stared at the entrance of the apartment of Sally Jackson
I sighed, what would I tell her? That her daughter was struck with lightning by Thalia because she was mad that Percy proposed to me and didn't ask her? Of course not! That would give her a heart attack, I could say that Percy got injured and had to stay at camp so I came instead? That seems way better
I look towards the elevator and shudder, I look for the stair case that is normally next to...aha there it is
I run over to the stairs and stand on the railing before jumping and grabbing the railing above me and pulling myself up and stand on the railing, I keep doing this until I reach Sally's floor
I open the door to see the regular hallway but something feels off
I make my way up to Sally's door being careful to not make any noise
Just as I am about to knock I hear talking come inside the room
I quickly go to open the door grabbing my key and putting it in the door handle opening it
"Hey Sally sor-" I freeze, there were about three people in the room and none were Sally but what made me freeze was the plastic sheet on the ground with a pale hand sticking out
"What are you doing here" barks one of the people as they all start comming closer
I back up, what am I going to tell Percy? What am I going to tell Camp!? Sally was the mother most of wanted and needed, she was always kind and loving and scary
I felt tears in my eyes and three random people were barking orders at me so I ran
I ran over to the stairwell and since it had a hole in the middle I did the first thing I could think of, i jumped
I heard the screams of the people above and the wind in my hair but two floors above the ground I grabbed a hold of the railing and climbed on the other side of it and started running down the stairs
I reached the lobby and I knew I had tears streaming down my face, I looked around and saw no one that was chasing me so I ran out of the apartment building and towards camp
I ducked into an ally and slid down the wall and just started crying
How would I tell Percy? She hasn't seen her mother in about three weeks and I bet she was still alive a week ago, she is going to blame herself over and over
Wait!? Where was Paul and Estelle?!
I quickly thought back to the scene and tried going over every detail that I can remember
I could faintly see another white sheet behind the couch but not a third and it couldn't have been Estelle because she was only one and the body was way to big to be hers or at least as much as I could see that is
I pulled out my monster proof phone that Leo and Hephaestus made
I dialed Chiron and waited as it rung but just as it went on the third beeping the phone got hit out of my hand
I jumped, how did I not notice them!?
I looked to see two of the three people that were in the apartment and one of them was on a radio
"What do you want!" I growled out as I stood up
"Who are you and why did you run away!" He shouted as he put his hand on his hip on top of....metal rings? Wait!
I gasped "your cops" I was really surprised and I should have figured it out earlier
"Answer the questions!" The guy snarled as he took out his handcuffs
"I'm her daughter In law and I was coming to tell her that we were getting married! Okay now tell me is Estelle okay?! Percy would tear herself apart if at least she didn't surive" I pleaded with the officer before he sighed
"My child are you okay?" I whipped my head around before my eyes landed on the phone on the ground
I raced to pick it up off the ground
"Mr Brunner? She's gone, Sally is gone how do I tell Percy!" I cried out to the old Centaur
There was silence before one of the officers talked
"Kid your going to need to come with us" the new lady declared as she walked towards me while the two others were guarding the entry of the entryway
"No I need to tell percy! I need to be the one to tell her" she just rolled her eyes and came closer
"Kid just come peacefully" I stared at him with anger
"You have no right to arrest me! I have done nothing" I glare at the lady but she keeps comming closer
" i just learnt-" before i could finish i was tackled to the ground by the officer
I grunted in pain as she forced me to lay on my stomach while she handcuffed me
"Let go!" I screaned as i turned to hit her with my hands but all she did was hit me then force me into the back of their car
It took about ten minutes to get to the police station and they grabbed me out and basically threw me into an interrogation room
Soon a officer came in
"Hello whats your name" he was very cheerful
I thought for a second
"Annabeth" he raised an eyebrow
"Last name?" I smirked
"Well you spell it, F-U-C-K O-F-F" i know rude but they forced me to be here so i am going to be a pain until they give upon me or let me go
"Really? *insert sigh here* okay then why are you here?" My smirk just got bigger
"Well those homophobic police shits arrested me becuase my mother in law died" i shouted so the officers could hear me
The guy looked at me with a raised eyebrow
"And how are they homophobic?"
"im gay" i deadpanned and he moved in his obviously uncomfortable
"Well then when do i exactly get a phone call?" I asked and i started bouncing my foot up and down
"Ughh now?" He sounded unsure, I sighed as he moved to unlock my handcuffs
《Percy's P.o.v》
Annabeth was being tackled to the ground in an alley by what looked to be police officers
Two were laughing and joking around while the police officer hit my wise girl then threw her in to the back of the car
I tried to scream and help her but i couldnt and i just had to remind myself that this is a dream
The car started to leave and i moved with it
When the car stopped i looked at what the police station is called
NYPD 65 Precinct
I quickly memorized the name before following my wise girl
I looked around trying to figure out where she went when i heard a very familiar voice yell angrily
"Well those homophobic police shits arrested me becuase my mother in law died" i grinned before realizing what she said
Mother in law?.....no no NO it cant be mum it cant be
I felt like i want to dig a deep hole and lay there for the rest of my life
I snapped out of my thoughts when i saw Annie being lead out of a room while multiple officers glared at her
Before i could see where she was going i felt my vision blur then go black meaning one thing, im waking up
I gasped for air as i sat up straight but i winced when i felt the pain
"W-water" i manged to croak out from my dry ass throat
Ella a daughter of Apollo ran in with a jug full of water and i quickly got to work as i made the water go around and heal parts of my body and by the time i was done the water had a tint of red in it
Tyler another Apollo camper gave me a glass of water and i thanked him
Once i drank the water the dream came flooding back to me
I jumped up from the bed and ran to the big house despite what the Apollo campers were saying
I knocked and soon Chiron came to the door with a grim face
"Its my Mother isnt it?" I ask the tears ready to back in a millisecond
He looked suprised "how did you know?" I just looked at the floor while i blink away tears
"Dreams" he nods but then gives me a concerned look
"Thats not why you came is it?" I shake my head getting serious
"Annabeths in trouble"
